Camping des Alouettes

We only stayed here one night on our travels through France but really enjoyed it. Lovely well-laid out campsite. Spacious pitches, clean and modern facilities. There were walks in the woods nearby for the dogs. The little bar and food was very welcome after a couple of experiences of closed services at other campsites as it’s quite early in the season. The pizza was very good, and the owners very friendly and helpful. Thank you! we’ll definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

The pitch was spacious and hedged for privacy which was just perfect. Excellent wifi coverage across the site. Lovely grassy pitches and very clean toilet facilities plus the showers were lovely and hot. .

Toilet paper in the toilets maybe and some bins for sanitary products.

Really peaceful, great pitches (large and shaded), great resources (table tennis, boules, fab swimming pool), restaurant and bar serving delicious food, good service, helpful at Reception

Very clean, well managed facilities. Warm helpful reception. Large attractive plots. Good location walks from the site.

Very Clean site with large plots but come prepared as they are not too level due to landscape. We had a lovely shady pitch , Toilet and shower blocks one of the best we have visited, very clean and well laid out. Pool was very nice but quite small so very full on a hot day. Food was good but limited to one selection per day, note no food on a Saturday. Rural site but small towns nearby. Local Lake was not as big as expected and dogs were not allowed, Found a bigger lake at Flavignac but no dogs on the beach or in the water although they could go on the grassy shady areas around it.

Excellent facilities very clean . We had a great pitch with shade . Very welcome as it was 35 degrees.

The site and amenities were well kept and very clean. The pitches are massive and flat. The staff are very friendly and speak great English

Cleanliness, order, size of pitches, water and electric on the pitch. Friendly and helpful owners.

No hot water in the sinks for washing dishes

Large pitches, able to choose pitch on arrival. Friendly, welcoming family owned with attention to detail, the site and facilities were very clean, The onsite restaurant served superb meals. Pool on site with the additional bonus of a large swimming lake less then 1km away. A great variety of bike ride from the site

This campsite is perfect, it is is well run in a beautiful situation with a wonderful and friendly team.

A beautifully kept campsite with lots of walks from the campsite. A nice bar on site with food available six evenings a week. The staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities modern and spotless.

Lovely site. Highly recommended. Helpful staff, spacious pitches, clean facilities, lovely little swimming pool , and great food. Peaceful surroundings, walking distance from village and swimming lake. Superb value for money. We will be back.
