Friendly, helpful hosts and fantastic local scenery.
One sanitaire had a technical issue with no hot water, which is fine - these things happen. But the water in the other sanitaire was only ever tepid. Proper hot water please. Tha approachroads to the site are quite challenging in a 7m campervan. Could the local authority be persuaded to improve them. More toilets would be welcome. The campsite occupies a superb elevated position, but few emplacements enjoy the amazing views - and some do not benefit from any sunlight. Could this be improved by laying down some trees to form low hedges, or just a little clearance of the many trees?

A very friendly and well run site with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. It was all beautifully kept with a fabulous pool. The surrounding area also has plenty to see & do (Padhirac caves, etc) if the sun’s not out

Beautiful site. Stunning location V very clean. Lots of shade if you want but also open areas Lots of activities to keep you acupied . Disability showers and toilets. Fresh bread baked every morning, order before 6 the night before . Sebastian & Serndrine excellent hosts . Will definitely be back.

L'endroit est magnifique, et, surtout, Sandrine et Sébastien mettent tout en oeuvre pour rendre le conditionné des séjours les plus plaisantes possibles. De très bons moments à table ou au bar!
l'intégration dans la nature est réussi, nous pourrions presque imaginé vivre dans les arbres. L'hébergement est agréable, sa taille en fait un espace cosy. La terrasse est vraiment agréable.

Mes 3 enfants, ma conjointe et moi-même avons passé une magnifique semaine au coq rouge. Le camping est magnifique, dans sont petit écrin de verdure qui nous offre un havre de paix pour d'excellentes vacances. Un acceuil très chaleureux venant de toute l'équipe et une multitude de visites à découvrir aux alentours. Des bons petits plats, une belle piscine et une ambiance très conviviale : vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés !!
Le tipi à été parfait pour nous 5: 3 enfants (entre 4 et 6 ans) et 2 adultes. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut, c'est fonctionnel.

Le camping du coq rouge est vraiment un très beau petit camping avec une belle dimension verticale : Le camping est situé en hauteur et offre de beaux points de vues sur les vallées qui l’entourent, de grands arbres bordent la partie centrale dégagée, … Quel calme ! Pas de bruit de route autour, et les voitures restent sur le parking à l'entrée du camping. Il y a de belles visites et de belles randonnées à faire autour du camping (mais il faut quand prendre la voiture systématiquement) : Collonges-la-Rouge, Autoire, Carennac, Rocamadour, Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, le Gouffre de Padirac ...
Nous n’avons pas du tout aimé ceux qui utilisent leur téléphone portable dans le camping et surtout ceux qui se filment à la piscine. Nous espérons que nos vielles fesses ne finiront pas sur Internet en arrière-plan d’une vidéo !
C’était notre première expérience naturiste et nous avons bien aimé le coté intime de l’Arca-Dome dans lequel nous avons logé. La cuisine extérieure est bien sympa.
Je crois que le matelas pourrait prendre une retraite bien méritée.
