Carolyn - Leicesteroap couple From 14/08/2019 to 28/08/2019General review : "Lovely site"
The location of my pitch and the feeling of space around us.
Some of the other pitches would not have suited us.Picture(s) taken by Carolyn - Leicester See photo galleryReview Special Large Pitch (including Water and Drainage connection + Electricity hook-up)
Plenty of space and it felt fairly private. We looked out across a green open space that had other pitches on but we didnt feel crowded even when the site was full.Detailed markView detailsGeneral information10Accommodation10Region8Cleanliness10Comfort10Quality-price ratio10Reception10

katharine - allschwilfamily with child(ren) From 05/07/2019 to 07/07/2019General review : "super stay"
We booked it quickly and knew nothing about the campsite or area. In all areas everyone in the family 8-50+ were all impressed with the safari tent but also the forest surroundings and space in front and around the safari tent. Place to relax and play, calm, outdoor forest experience.
We liked everythingReview Safari Tent 35 m² with wooden terrace 2/5 pers
All good. We have stayed before in a safari tent in May at Lac du Chalain. It rained constantly the second day and was cold. So this was a much better weather experience!!!
No we all liked everything. No one minded going to the showers and toilets because everything was so clean and tidy, a big thank you.Detailed markView detailsGeneral information10Accommodation10Region10Cleanliness10Comfort10Quality-price ratio10Reception10Bathing10

Large pitch, well maintained campsite, Pascaline and Mike are great hosts, nice swimming pool, many interesting things to do and places to explore, including Gerardmer with its lake, weekly markets, restaurants and shops.

The pitch was large, sunny and not overlooked. Well signposted with easy access from the road. Power, water and drainage we all easily accessed.

Sue - CARDIFFfamily with teenager(s) From 11/08/2018 to 25/08/2018General review : "Family holiday Corcieux Aug18"
A Very warm welcome. Excellent spoken English. Very helpful on all levels. Stayed 2 weeks and witnessed the toilet blocks being cleaned throughout the day (early morning, throughout the day and during late evening). Toilet tissue is provided! Great location to tour the must see attractions. During August the team organised various interests for the evenings - Local wine producer - tasting and buying; pizza evenings, roast chicken, crafts stalls, star gazing. Easy reach for supermarkets in Anould and local Spa. Various markets around the area on various days.
The site welcomes dogs, which is great. Dislike - irresponsible owners who don't keep an eye on the pet, who then foals on another pitch. This is not the fault of the camp Team!Picture(s) taken by Sue - CARDIFF See photo galleryReview Premium Pitch
Good sized pitch with shade at various times of the day. The pitch we had, had hedging which offered a bit of privacy.
Part of the pitch had gravel, which wasn't comfortable when camping with a tent. Gravel was felt through the groundsheet and we had to be careful that they didn't break through. Only a few pitches had gravel, possibly to counteract the wear on the pitch during peak season, so this is a minor point when looking at the entire site.Detailed markView detailsGeneral information10Accommodation9Region10Cleanliness10Comfort9Quality-price ratio9Reception10

Jo - Leicesterfamily with teenager(s) From 06/08/2018 to 16/08/2018General review : "Our holiday August 2018"
A lovely clean campsite with great facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. Weather hot but plenty of areas of shade. The area was excellent for things to do; swimming in lac de Longmer, being touristy in beautiful Gerardmer, walking in the mountains, thrilling drives over the mountain passes and lovely towns especially Colmar, Ribeauville and Turckheim. We even went on a chair lift meant for skiers. Verdun was further away but worth the visit on the way home. Very moving memorial to WW1.
Not exactly a dislike but the shop would have been even more useful with a few more items and would no doubt be a source of profit for the campsite.Review Close to Nature Pitch
The right size, great for shade and having trees to fix a washing line to! I was pleasantly surprised by a significant lack of wasps!
