I had a corner plot so it felt a bit like being in a gold fish bowl. Hedging between plots for more privacy. My pitch was very sunny, no shade till the evening and it was very hot!

Lovely site for stopover on way up to ferry. Good value. . Convenient for the village of Coulon. Nice pool. Lovely walk along river watching the boats. Had food in the marais social club. Great poke bowl.

Staff were very helpful. The pitch was good with electricity and water and shade. Restaurant, bar and entertainment also very good.The area is very pleasant. We took a kayak out one day with a picnic package which was excellent. We thought the whole experience was competitively priced.
We changed the first pitch for a slightly bigger one. If we went again we would book the bigger pitch simply for more privacy.

only complaint is that the internet is terrible. Even though WiFi has been improved for most of the site the internet is very poor quality & even when you get access it drops very quickly. Also good do with better noise control very late at night

The site was excellent, this is our second time at this site. The facilities were very good, we will visit the site again in the future. The pitches were a good size and the improvement on the pool area was very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. And very helpful when my husband was taken ill, the help and support they gave us was first class. Being able to order bread, croissants and other bits was perfect.
There is nothing that needs to be improved it was just perfect.
We came with our own caravan with one car, and our pitch was the perfect size, and having electric hook up was good, having water between the plots was very good too.

We stayed at this campsite for 3 nights in a campervan. Our grass pitch was flat and close to all facilities, and big enough for our needs
The facilities were great, including a restaurant with a good menu. The staff were helpful and friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. We would highly recommend this site.

Good size pitches, some nice bike routes near by, the reception staff were very nice and it was very easy to book in, and find out pitch. Nice staff in general, but I feel the staff at the bar, although polite didn't seem overly happy!
We ordered food on our first night and we're very disappointed, the chips were cooked within an inch of their life! The pizza was good as was the fish pieces.

Enjoyed our stay, we stayed three nights on our way down to the dordogne. Clean, good choice of food.

The campsite was full so we were on a small pitch near the facilities as it was all that remained, however it was good location, the vehicle route was one way which made it safer, lighting was good and the recycling was very efficient

Quiet and shady pitches. Restaurant good value. Good access to cycle routes.
Showers a bit cramped. Water pressure to pitch was poor. Disappointed that swimming pool not open especially as it was very hot during our stay.

Noisy pigeons!! Pitch 42 a little small. We felt very close to our neighbours and hedging sparse.

We liked the pitch and the shade given by the many mature trees.
I have rated only average because the showers were not very good. In one shower I used the water came down no more than 6 inches from the wall. I could get part of my font wet, or part of my back only by standing very close to the wall. Not good.

The French fries in the restaurant were in my opinion very poor. Not crispy, flabby and greasy. I didn't eat any of them. The pork however was excellent and I just asked for more bread and ate that with it.

The campsite offered a peaceful and relaxing location in an amazing setting what more would you want. The staff were friendly and helpful which added to a great experience. Local shops and places to eat was a really helpful addition. All in all everything we could have hoped for.
Some pitches looked a little crowded but ours gave us plenty of room and privacy. So it can be done.
