Clean and adequate showers, toilets, sinks. Washer/dryer on site (with soap), WiFi at the small cafe. Coffee available in the morning after 7:30. Very nice and helpful staff.
Safety lighting is too bright for tents nearby (would have been better if back part of tent area was dry enough to pitch there). Women’s bathroom closed off at 9 am for cleaning.

Nice people but the site has seen better days - many years ago.
The entire facility including showers, toilets etc requires a complete overhaul to justify prices or 3 stars. Cleanliness is below any standard I have experienced all over France.
Site of my choice

Easy going
The msin building with toilets and washing places should be better cleaned. Much dust answer spinder webs and also dirt on the grond which stayed for many days, why not really use a broom and mob.
Nice spot
Grass and hedges could be better cutter, to give the full space to be used.

Fantastic site well located for the Tour de France climb up the Colombiere as well as some nice cycling routes nearby. Decent sized pitches with water and EHU and a daily bakery delivery when booked ahead. Owners very friendly, welcoming and helpful. A supermarket is a short walk away and there is an onsite bar and restaurant with take away food available (although we didn't use that). Would certainly visit this site again.
The toilet block needs some investment, for example there are no seats on the toilets which wasn't great. Grey water disposal is also not available at the site.
Good serviced pitches.

The proximity to the Grand Colombier. Staff were pleasant and very helpful.
Facilities were tired and needed a revamp. Urinals looked. Like they hadn’t been cleaned properly in ages. Showers were dark, no lights. Pitch was a weed patch, hedges needed trimming. Water tap was broken forcing you to try and refil water carriers from sink taps.. I agree with the reviewer who stated that the main focus appears to be on the chalets not the camping pitches. There was an incredibly loud, persistent disco on the Thursday night which reverberated around the whole campsite which was completely unnecessary and kept us awake. Would think twice before going back.
Pitches were good size.
This picture is NOTHING like the pitch we had. It was a gravel strewn weed patch with overgrown hedges.

Flexibility about our group of friends, that were allowed to join on our spot.
Nice place in the shade, quit in the nature.

Owners were very pleasant and helpful. Showers were warm and powerful. Good effort to make food on site and provide evening entertainment. Bakery service was good. Site is close to the Grand Colombier for access to the Tour de France and to the local Carrefour for provisions. Close to Aix Le Bains and Chanaz but need to take a short drive there. Lake looked pretty but was more like a children’s play pool and not really suitable for adults. We brought our paddleboard and we’re not able to use it.
Site looks generally neglected and tatty. The gardens and hedges are overgrown, full of weeds and half dead flower pots. It doesn’t take a lot to sort this out. The communal areas are terrible, everything is mismatched, unkempt and seems unloved. Toilets (ladies) and in the one cubicle with the only toilet seat, the walls were filthy dirty with old excrement, dead spiders and flies on the walls. Not very hygienic at all. Quiet at night until 4 very disrespectful guests arrived next to us ruined 1 night and caused issues with other guests the next day. It was just dreadful.
Size of pitch was good and flat.
The pitch we were on was very big but felt neglected and dirty with debris from the previous guests. Grey waste area was full with dead leaves and then a plastic bag was pushed down it in day 2. Pitch Maintenance needs attention prior to the next guest arriving. One night the 4 guests who caused us problems were marauding loudly around the pitch until 5am and it was very intimidating for us. They should have been thrown off site as it ruined 1 night and the actual day of the Tour as we were exhausted. The owners dealt with these awful guests but the damage had been done.

Stayed 4 nights to watch the Tour de France and cycle the area. Great base to stay if you’re planning on cycling the Grand Colombier. Large supermarket near by and lots of cycle friendly roads to explore.
Shaded by trees and hedges protecting you from the wind and sun, although you can still find a spot in the sun.

1. Location Location Location 2. Nature Friendly 3. Clean 4. Estetically appealing
We required an extension given our plot placing relative to the power base. Nothing mentioned about ensuring that you travel with extension cords , alternatively have extension cords available
Clean & Green
Will certainly be recommending this facility for fellow travellers
Thank you for your kind note and for this nice review! For your information, you had booked a pitch without electricity! That's why the electric terminal was far away, as it was intended for pitches with electricity ;) Merci pour votre bonne note et pour ce bel avis !

Nettes Personal ,sehr freundlich , Platz voll ok ,
