Right by the Loir and the river walk into Durtal. Not a lot in the town.
Emplacements need tidying up. Overhanging trees need cutting back. Water tap pressure very low and took a long time to fill our tank.
Riverside location
Overhanging trees on the pitch and with there being a lot of rain most were muddy

Great pitches, great location, well kept and clean. Friendly owner. Would definitely recommend.
Great pitch. Next time we’d like to try one by the river

Good sized pitches, hedging makes them private, plenty of shade. Very quiet at night. We were right next to the river so easy access to walk along or get the paddle boards out. Facilities were clean, unisex showers and toilets. Site not too busy in mid August so no waiting to use any facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful, spoke good English. Easy walk into the village and lovely castle.
Not the campsites fault but swimming pool, a public one, was closed Sunday and also the Monday we were there. Access to pool is only free for one day.
As above

Quiet, peaceful campsite on the bank of the river. Facilities good and clean.
One of the showers didn’t work well. No shower head and the water only stayed on for a couple of seconds. Family tell me the other showers were fine.
Lovely little spot.

The location right next to the River Loir and within walking distance of Durtal.
Pitches could be mown a bit more but otherwise nice and secluded.
Facilities excellent
Sharing toilets etc with the men but guess that's normal in France
Many thanks for your note & comment which make us very happy and reward our work. We were pleased to welcome you. Concerning mowing the pitches, my partner does his best but the current weather means the grass grows very quickly! We confirm that in France, Toilets are mixed. Looking forward to seeing you again, Kind regards. Yves & Sophie

Riverside location
Few facilities open onsite. ( end of season) Few facilities available in village.
Quiet location
Access awkward. Needed several.manoevres to get in Didn't want electricity but it was included in the price.
Hi Mr DAVIES, Thanks for your note & comment. We were pleased to welcome you. I'm surprised that you must do several manoevres to go into the pitch. Concerning included electricity, you booked with ACSI card. As you know, it's a specific price with electricity and 1 dog included. If you don't want electricity, you should have taken "normal" booking, electricity is optionnal Looking forward to seeing you again, Kind regards. Yves & Sophie

We just wanted a short stop to break the journey to the Dordogne, the ACSI write up was promising and the area seemed interesting. We stayed three nights, we were tempted to stay longer and will certainly return. It’s a nice village right beside the Loir river with so much to recommend it. The welcome and continuing service was excellent

Average campsite, no facilities to mention
Grass pitches
Good size pitch
Security - Too close to a public footpath with no security, anyone could walk into the site.
Hi Mr FRANKS, I am very surprised about your notations and your comments. If I well understand, you do not like grass pitches. Do you prefer concrete one ??? What do you expect ? Moreover our campsite is fenced and access to the public path are by gate ! Generally people like to be near a gate to go along the river. You should have asked me to change if you do not want it ! Your notation about property and welcome is very strange, in contradiction with other advises. it's a shame to learn that you didn't enjoy your stay through this review Best regards, Sophie
