Nice spot close to the river, good playground
Restrooms could be better, for example toilet seats should be installed and a possibility to dry hands would be great

We were here only for 1 night on our way to our final destination. But it is a lovely place to go back to for a longer time to check the city Durtal and more.
Quit campsite, nice people and lovely campsite next to the river Loire.

Madame was very helpful microwaving a lasagne for us and understanding when we had to leave a day early.

Lovely site and good facilities, will definitely visit again and stay longer to explore. Lady on reception spoke excellent English and explained everything perfectly, so helpful

The pitches are lovely, well shaded by trees and hedging. The facilities are very clean, tidy and well maintained as is the whole site. A credit to Sophie and her husband! Having broken down in my camper van Sophie liaised with garage for and and was able to rent me a small mobile home until camper repaired. I will be eternally grateful for her care and support. Takeaway food is available in evening and a small bar. It’s also a lovely walk along river path to the town. If you want a stop off for a few days I can wholeheartedly recommend this site

Taps on drinking water supply which are not shaped to put a hose to.

A little gem. Shame we only stayed one night on our way back to Dieppe. Superb location, clean and welcoming.

This is an excellent site on the banks of the Loire. Very pretty town to walk around. Will certainly visit again. Easy drive from Caen.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean toilet and shower facilities. Good location as a stopover site.
Whilst the facilities are all in one block, the toilets, showers and vanity cubicles are all in separate rooms which is a bit quirky.

Was a bit worried about security from the river path? Gate no lock.

Right by the Loir and the river walk into Durtal. Not a lot in the town.
Emplacements need tidying up. Overhanging trees need cutting back. Water tap pressure very low and took a long time to fill our tank.

Overhanging trees on the pitch and with there being a lot of rain most were muddy

Good sized pitches, hedging makes them private, plenty of shade. Very quiet at night. We were right next to the river so easy access to walk along or get the paddle boards out. Facilities were clean, unisex showers and toilets. Site not too busy in mid August so no waiting to use any facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful, spoke good English. Easy walk into the village and lovely castle.
Not the campsites fault but swimming pool, a public one, was closed Sunday and also the Monday we were there. Access to pool is only free for one day.
