Used this site on recommendation from a colleague as handy for catching a ferry from Calais. An enjoyable stay after a month in various sites in Europe and would certainly recommend it to other travelers.

Facilities were to a high standard and well maintained. Bar and restaurant area very good friendly helpful staff. Good amenities for families with games/play areas and pool. Pitches of a very good size and each pitch in our area had privacy
Need to consider more meal options in the restaurant for vegetarian and vegan guests
Motorhome pitch had privacy around it and ample space for sitting, chairs and table.

Not an improvement but advice to take levelling ramps for lots of pitches.

Not so good on the plastic tiles under the grass. Had to keep trying to get up my ramps but they kept on slipping on the plastic tiles. Ended up using my jack to lift each wheel individually. Other than that okay.

We really liked the close proximity to Le Shuttle, reception, the restaurant/bar, pitch and swimming pools.
The toilet and shower block was very clean but a little dated.

It has always been our first stop on our way down through France. Julien is so helpful with arranging the Vet for our dog. A first class service from all the staff at Gandspette.

This was our second visit. Love the location. We used it for a few night end of holiday stay after travelling back to Calais. Large pitches and friendly staff. Love the pools.

We stayed here for two nights on our way to tour France and loved it so much that we stayed here for another couple of nights before we went back to England as well. It's in a lovely setting with great facilities. The on site restaurant and bar is great and it has outdoor facilities too including pools, tennis courts, fitness equipment etc. The man at reception is very friendly and allows you to try out your French whilst helping you out by replying in English! Would recommend.
Couldn't find any faults at all :-)
We had a grass pitch which had plastic squares set underneath to help with any sinkage there might be in wet weather, electric point to the pitch and water very close by.
Would have preferred to be not amongst "all English" travellers, but can understand why the Chateau would put people only staying one or two nights in the same area to avoid disturbing other longer term holidaymakers.

Lovely welcome. I requested near facilities & that's exactly where we were placed. Spacious pitches. Nice large site. Facilities kept immaculately clean. Bread & croissants available daily between 8am & 9am.Short drive to supermarket. Great location for visiting WW2 block house. Well worth a visit.
Great facilities. Restaurant & bar although I didn't eat in the Restaurant. Lovely looking pools though I didn't get to use them because of time & weather.
Some untidy looking run down static accommodation on site opposite our pitch.
