The site its self was lovely, clean, in apretty setting, excellent facilities. The showers and toilets we exceptionally clean and modern. There's a large supermarket within a 5 minute drive, although we are walkers so it was a nice 15 minute stroll. The site was quite isolated however there is a village about 30 minutes stroll with a few bars, places to eat, a beautiful church, and a train station which takes you as far as Calais or Lille. We went to the next village 6 minute train ride, Saint Omar, which was beautiful, filled with historical buildings, shops cafes and much more. Overall 5*
The site has a bar/restaurant and lovely outdoor pool however we wasn't informed upon booking or notified on the website that these services were not accessible this time of year (23/09/26) so we were a little disappointed as we had planned a chilled few days after travelling for 2 weeks. However fining the Watten villege kept us busy. The site is situated a short 30 minutes journey from the eurotunnel which was ideal. We had a lovely welcome from the gentleman in reception who give us all the basic information needed around the site.
Pitch size for out campervan and canopy was huge....so very private and quiet.

Huge private hedged pitches, loads of trees and birds including free range chickens (which we enjoyed) Quiet in September. Site well set out. Pool & restaurant closed but tennis courts were open. Really friendly receptionist, he gave us Lots of information. Le Blockhaus a short walk from the site and an absolute must if you’re interested in history - one of the most moving and interesting places we’ve visited in France. Great supermarket down the road. We enjoyed cycling down the canal too. Toilet & showers clean.
Electric & water hedged pitch for a campervan. (Maybe ask for a pitch not near an oak tree in September -acorns 😂)

We first stayed in 2012. It doesn’t feel like much has been done e to the site since then so it all feels like it could do with an upgrade.
Pitch was fine. Hard standing woven into grass.
Pool water had been left to go green which was not a great look. It was an end of season visit which may account for the tiredness and slightly unkempt look around the site.

Everything. Accommodation was really comfortable and equipped with everything anyone could possibly require. All staff were really welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I will recommend it to all my family and friends. In fact I already have.

I found that the electric supply to my pitch was reverse polarity. For UK users that can be dangerous. It’s probably worth checking with your electricians. It probably doesn’t matter for European users with double pole switches but for UK users this is not good.

Great campsite for our needs (quick overnight stop on our way home via the tunnel). Easy to find, friendly and helpful staff, handy on-site restaurant with delicious food (recommend booking in advance as it's very popular). Bakery 5 mins down the road.
A few more dogs this year and this time there were loose chickens running around which may impact your decision to stay, depending on your situation

Convenient location for the ferry and Le Shuttle. Very friendly welcome, however I wasn't offered ACSI price and I forgot to ask. Facilities are definitely not 4*. Toilets and washing up sinks are exposed to the weather. Shower blocks are not heated. Toilets were badly stained.

Large pitch with easy access. Expect noise from other campers leaving for early ferries etc.
We requested hardstanding, expecting gravel, however it was plastc matting covered by grass which was very slippery after rain. The pitches are not level and you need levelling ramps, again difficult to place on plastic matting after rain.

Lovely rural setting, quiet, especially at night(very important to me), clean well maintained toilets/showers. A really pleasant bar/ restaurant, with take away food available(at very reasonable prices), but perhaps most important of all, the staff are always very helpful, polite, friendly, and given that I don't speak French, most if not all staff speak English. I love the little chicken's foraging around too.
I cannot think of any improvements, except maybe a few shrubs overhanging the roads in places that didn't affect me, but may be of some annoyance to folk with large camper's/caravans. Even this point is probably down to the lateness of my stay, ie, September.
We pitched our tents on a green space to the north of the site, that was as I say, nice and quiet with a toilet/ shower block a short distance away. The green area was a little undulating, but by a little investigating we found two level pitches, and I would say they were near perfect.

Excellent site whether for stop off before/after channel crossing or for longer stay taking in the Blockhouse and La Coupole. Good food in restaurant! Pleasant and helpful staff.
