This is a lovely campsite. As a pair of cyclists doing a one-night stop it was easily the best of the sites we stayed at for supporting cyclists, with lockers for charging devices, fridges, a marquee with chairs and tables for cyclists and walkers to use and a cooker and microwave oven. The emplacement was a good size on nice soft grass for those of us using lightweight sleep mats. The washing facilities were clean and the site is well placed near the river, town and a hill for a view (but note the view point gets locked at some point in the evening)
Outside the control of the campsite there was some noise from the nearby adult education centre but that stopped at bed time.
Loved the emplacement and facilities provided for cyclists especially the lockers for charging devices, camping table at the emplacement and the marquee with chairs tables and fridges etc.
Our stay was excellent and these are only "even better if" suggestions: A kettle would be helpful for cyclists / walkers to be able to make a coffee for early starts I ust used the microwave, which was OK.. The lights that come on when people go to the toilet block so it is safe to use the steps are very bright and disturbing to campers nearby. Shaded lights or less bright ones would be better.

The first night we had some parties going on with loud music. Great location for cycling to Angers, but far from the main castles near Tours.

Warm welcome, good sized pitches, on the Loire river bank, adequate pop-up food, nice bar, great facilities.
Only down side was no toilet paper supplied in the toilets. Haven't seen this before. Difficult to remember to carry it about with you all the time.
Decent size grass pitch. Not private, but that didn't matter to us.

This is a peaceful, well run site with good facilities, well located for cycling and local amenities.

Pitches are excellent, and the electric is now 10 amps, which is an improvement. The new owners are making an excellent job and effort to improve the site. Bar and terrace is an excellent addition. We also love the area, cycling etc.

No toilet paper provided in bathrooms which I thought was a little unnecessary. You couldn’t just pop to the loo on your way in or out of the site as you had to go and get toilet roll so a little inconvenient at times.

A simple relaxed site in a beautiful region. Easy to cycle to Saumur and also to the local ginguette!
Not so many local restaurants - be sure to take your own food!

Nice campsite, peaceful, clean sanitair. Food trucks and bar are really nice. Good information about things to do in the region and even about hikes.
Our pitch was in front of the toilet building, during the night the movement detecting lights went on guite often. Really annoying, maybe the toilets could do with a little less light?

A delightful campsite in a great spot on the river Loire, close to many interesting places. We really enjoyed exploring local cafes and tabacs along the river by bike. It's also worth the walk up the hill to St Eusubio's old Church tower ... The views are incredible.
A lovely big, flexible social space. All the joy of camping without the discomforts. Spending time on the verandah was so easy to do. The whole family enjoyed eating together and playing cards on the gorgeous long summer evenings. The superb fridge-freezer meant we were always well supplied for refreshments.
Personally I would prefer one dining table.and a coffee table.with a.small sofa and chairs to the current set up of a dining table and a picnic table.

Le manque de climatisation,pas d'ombre avant 22h, une vraie fournaise très difficile à supporter la nuit.

Camping très agréable mais pas cool de ne pas avoir de lumière dans les sanitaires la nuit... Pourtant on l'a cherché partout !
