Beautiful site, well maintained with great facilities!
Big pitches and hedges between them, so you are not on top of your neighbours.

Pool area vibe, vegetarian food options, lake, friendly staff, shaded pitches
Restaurant staff seem to need training to manage the stress of the busy period, floor around pool painful on feet
Shaded, lake view, proximity to water and toilets/showers

Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Great pitch size. Beautiful chateau.
For me, not good at all. I had asked to be placed near facilities as I walk with difficulty with 2 walking sticks. Sadly pitch 132 was too far for me. The washroom and toilets in the middle of the site were well designed, efficient and clean but there were no disabled facilities at all. There was disabled access near the chateau but that was much too far from our pitch.
Lovely spacious flat pitch. Electric hook up and water on pitch.
Lack of shade as it has been so very hot recently. Too far from amenities for me.

We loved our pitch which had the lake to the rear and the chateau to the front. The facilities were plentiful and always spotless. The swimming pools were a great bonus, even after the heatwave they were still cool enough to be refreshing. We had a takeaway of beef bourguignon and fries on the first night - it was DELICIOUS and probably enough for at least one more person. We went back for fries the second night too - a great facility. The wifi at the bar was great and the little shop catered for everybody and everything. We also hired bikes from a company recommended - fab!

The size of the pitch was great - the location to the facilities, not too far to walk and right opposite a water tap. Lake to the rear of the pitch and chateau to the front - what's not to love!

The site staff are always very welcoming and helpful and the site has a relaxed atmosphere. To be able to fish in the lake is an added attraction.
We have visited this site for many years and there seems to be a programme of continuous improvement.
The accommodation is spacious for two people and is in keeping with the style of the chateau. We prefer the upper floor because there is a window on three sides of accommodation so during the hot weather there is normally a good cooling breeze.
The seating area for the three apartments should be clearly signed to show it is for the use of the occupants of the apartments and not an extension of the bar or a place to eat food from the takeaway outlet. It is frustrating not to be able to enjoy an evening meal outside because all the tables are occupied by "non residents". Wifi in the apartment would be a nice to have.

This is a lovely campsite, great facilities & friendly staff. The restaurant is nice but limited choices. The new snack bar by the pool is an additional option
The restaurant would benefit from more pasta dishes on the menu or even make available at the takeaway bar
We stay on pitch 26 always good
Bushes could’ve done with a trim

We have been coming to this site every year for many years. Always relaxing, well managed with friendly attentive staff.
We stayed in our tent overlooking the lake in a lovely large shaded pitched.

This is our second visit to Chateau de L'Eperviere and it didn't disappoint. The campsite is in a lovely rural location, the pitches are spacious, facilities are excellent, all the staff we encountered were very welcoming and helpful. We dined in the restaurant, which was delicious. We will definitely be back and hopefully stay longer than one night next time.
None that I can think of
We had a fully serviced pitch. Very spacious, clean and separated from your neighbours by a small hedge.

Nice camp for a few days on the way home
Size was good
I didn't like the fact our pitch 107 was all stone I couldn't knock nails into the ground to hold the awning most pitches and some were definitely available had some grass.

Pitches were great, spotlessly clean showers and toilets. The cleaning staff were very busy cleaning most of the day. The facilities, eg the swimming pool, shop bar, wine tasting restaurant and location of the site near the Saone cycle path were all brilliant.
More comfortable beds by the pool. Not becoming of a 5 star resort. Maybe more shade around the pool
We were located by the fishing pools and we never had a problem with the pitches, which were very good and large
Mixed toilets and showers in the main camping area.

I liked the large size of the pitches and being able to park our camping car on grass was lovely. The large grassed area at the back of the site gives a real sense of open space and the wood to the side of the site helps provide cool and shade (and also had calling Tawny Owl chicks, so they clearly breed in the wood). The Chateau is very impressive and I liked that you allowed the swallows to nest in the building and the lakes are a great focal point and good for nature.
Perhaps introduce some wildflower areas within the grassed areas and not use herbicides? I'd be concerend if you introduced more pitches at the expense of the open spaces
Grass pitch, large size - great to have water and drainage and to have a pitch on the green area
