Lovely location great pitches very large with shade excellent toilet shower facilities. Loved the restaurant bar pool and shop.
Would like to see a few dog bins around the site for disposal of poo bags

I should have booked earlier !
We stayed in a fully serviced site as that was the only pitch available when we booked ( the day before we arrived ). Although we would have preferred a standard pitch, and the staff offered to move us when one became available, we opted to stay put once we were settled .

We enjoyed a relaxing break at Château de L'Epervière. Although quite a big site, it was well laid out with trees and hedges, so it didn't feel like you were on a big site. Good amenities, friendly staff, relaxing swimming pool and delicious food in the restaurant. Benefited from being so close to Sâone with several bike rides along the brilliant cycle routes - one to Tournus where we had Sunday lunch and enjoyed a brilliant brocante.
Better system for booking the restaurant. There was some booking confusion, which didn't set the evening off to a good start. Seemed that the wrong name had been given to the waiting staff and so they didn't think I had a booking and quite adamant about this. In fact, they suggested I went to reception to sort it out, which was closed as after 7pm. It was resolved by one of them using their initiative and going to reception. At the end of the evening, many of the tables hadn't been used for dining, so I didn't not understand what the problem was even if we didn't have a booking.
Classic pitch with electricity. A generous pitch which meant that you felt very comfortable and were able to spread out.

We loved the ambience of the site. The way- despite the numbers on site - it doesn’t feel busy or crowded. The toilet & shower block was brilliant. So many! And liked the pot wash & hand washing area too as again, , lots of facilities
We loved our no 172 pitch. We had the best view and despite being next to the shower block, it was quiet, we were not overlooked, and had a little bit of woodland at the side - perfect!

The site is located in a beautiful area and from the moment of our arrival, reception staff were excellent, welcoming and very helpful. The shower/ sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained. It’s a very peaceful site and well layed out. There’s an excellent convivial bar area if you fancy a beer or glass of wine. In particular, I’d mention the excellent approach that Pierre Andre afforded every time you came across him, a great advert for excellent customer service. The Restaurant is beautiful and the separate take away facility does an excellent Boeuf Bourguignon!
None of note except the surface area around the swimming pool was a little hard on your feet.
Excellent sized pitch affording good privacy and easy access / exit. Plenty of space to position tables/ chairs/ sun loungers etc. and even move into shaded areas (when it got too warm!!). The tree planting was well layed out and the hedging was well maintained.

Having spent a month travelling around France, we were recommended to this site by friends. It is a class above the rest. It has everything and it is all done perfectly. From reception and the restaurant, to the pitches and the showers.

Hi, We had a great time on the well run site. Great pitch with everything you could ever want and more. Great location in the country side with beautiful walks and cycling routes. One lucky thing during our stay was NO kids running or screaming which is always a good send. All in all a great site with excellent facilities to enjoy.
Better stocked shop, we didn’t try the restaurant or take away service.
Pitch was awesome with sun and shade.
The furniture and no base for the brolly to stand in.

Beautifully manicured site, outstanding facilities, large pitches separated by hedging, considering the size of the site it was very quiet (quietest end down the bottom).
No recycling at bottom end, only one small rubbish bin. I don't mind paying for dogs but would then expect better dog facilities; unable to close the gate on the dog field which is important to separate dogs and no poo bins anywhere on site.

Clean modern washing, showers, toilets etc. pleasant reception and ground maintenance staff. Restaurant excellent esp beef bourguignon.
Large enough, some confusion over which way around to park.
Hedge only on one side of our pitch. Next to a permanent pitch with dogs who were routinely left alone and barked a lot. One occasion very angry dog prevented approach to our shared water supply. Very bad smell if wind was a certain direction from presumably the site sanitation outflow. Long walk to main bins and chemical toilet disposal from pitch 86

We loved the peace and tranquillity, the beautiful setting with the chateau and lakes, the size of the pitch, the pool and extras like ordering food and bread. The staff were very friendly and always helpful.
Plugs in the washing up sinks as it’s difficult to wash up greasy dishes without soapy water. Thank you

We originally booked for 3 nights but extended our stay for another 2 nights. This is an excellent campsite with large pitches, swimming pools, restaurant, bar, shop and a beautiful lake. All taken care of by lovely staff. Excellent sanitaires too. No negatives at all.
