Access to the beach, convenient pitch for our tent, fresh croissants and baguettes available to order for the morning were great. The beach was beautiful.
The campsite was much better than the website suggested. The only negative comment I have is that the website/booking info wasn't up to date! (For example we weren't able to get any coins for the showers before arrival, but when we checked in we discovered the showers were free - we just had to pay a deposit for an activation card.)
Pitch for tent was very convenient, near enough to the toilet/shower block and pot-wash facilities. We had electric hook-up in the end too, which was a nice surprise.
Previous occupant of the pitch had left dog treats and a dog's bone strewn around the grass, and two large holes (presumably dug by the dog), which made positioning the tent a little tricky.

Driving through an industrial landscape did not fill us with much hope for the last campsite on our trip, however we were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in a quiet, yet busy, well-run campsite on the outskirts of a lovely historical town. The pitch was private and had electricity and water. The facilities were clean and never busy. There are lots of families here enjoying the entertainment and facilities, as well as the nearby beach. It is a half hour drive to Dunkirk and a 20/30 minute walk to the town.

Plage à côté, sanitaire ultra propres, tente nickel, accueil adorable.
Samedi soir, c'était fête dans une salle proche et nous étions juste à côté du boulodrome.
Plus spacieux qu'il n'y paraît, super propre, bien équipée, couvertures

Ein hübscher Camping. Der sich sehr bemüht saubere und angenehme Bedingungen für seine Gäste zu schaffen. Das Brotdepot alleine ist schon einen Aufenthalt wert - tolles Brot und Croissant das von exzellentem Handwerk zeugt. Der Platz verwöhnt mit einer guten Infrastruktur. Fußläufig zum Ortszentrum, einem direkten Zugang zum Strand und sogar einem Wellnessbereich mit Sauna. Gravelines ist zweigeteilt durch einen Kanal. Außerhalb der Saison fährt die gratis Fähre nicht täglich. Die Brücke ist zu Fuß Recht weit. Aber der Gratisbus beringt einem überall hin im Ort und der Region. Die Mole ein Hit
Auch auf dem Camping des Dunes hat der Tag nur 24 Stunden. Und so kommt der Moment des Abschieds viel zu schnell.
Wir hatten unseren eigenen Caravan dabei. Und durften diesen auf eine Ebene großzügige Parzelle stellen. Wasser, Abwasser und Strom stehen auf jeder Parzelle zur Verfügung. Das WiFi bekamen wir geschenkt.

Super emplacement caravane. Boulangerie à la réception délicieuse. Réception souriante et polie.camping tranquille le soir.1 seul point négatif les sanitaires des campeurs , pas au top au niveau propreté,par contre un bloc sanitaire se trouvant chez les bungalows était super agréable avec de l’eau très chaude.

Schöne Dörfer und kleine Städte entlang der Küste Richtung Bologne.
Leider gab es viele Quallen und Mücken. Flüchtlinge mit Rettungsbooten mit Ziel England am Strand waren verstörend. Hundekacke liegt sehr viel herum. Die Besitzer räumen das selten weg.
Die Mitarbeitenden sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Nähe zum WC Haus und der Bar waren gut.
Das Toilettenhaus ist schon sehr alt. Das könnte mal modernisiert werden.

Camping proche du centre, on peut aller à pied à petit fort Philippe et la mer.
La literie un peu ferme, chambre spacieuse et belle salle d'eau.
Au niveau de la terrasse manque transats ou chiliennes pour se reposer pour un camping 4 étoiles, c'est un peu sommaire.
