I really enjoyed this site, lovely swimming pool and covered over so on horrible days you could still use it. Restaurant on site, shop, the site is kept clean and tidy, play park, outdoor gym. No complaints from us.
Shower took a while to get hot, but was fine after.
10A electric grass pitch very spacious pitch Electric went off one night but it was fixed quickly by staff.
The weather 😂 hopefully we will be luckier next time.

Lovely site, close to Calais, good walking area for our newly acquired dog. Bar staff were very helpful and food in bar wasn’t bad. Reasonably priced products.
Facilities are getting a bit dated and I think the five star claim is stretching it somewhat. Some upgrading needed. Also part of the toilet areas are not heated and were closed off at times, putting pressure on the open area.

We stayed on a pitch with private sanitary facilities. These are a recent addition to this site and are brilliant! With or without private facilities, this site has been our favourite for over 20 years. We come a couple of times a year, every year. The staff are so friendly and helpful, everything is clean and the grounds are exceptionally maintained. Pitches are huge and even in high season it does not feel over crowded. There is plenty for kids to do and a great bar/food area. La Bien is family owned and operated and feels more welcoming than the large commercial sites.
Hard to think of anything other than the choice of beer has been changed this year and the selection is limited. However, as long as they still have the 1664 there is always something to drink! This is such a small thing but we honestly cannot think of anything else.

Convenient for Calais ferry.
Our booking confirmation informed us that reception was open until 22:00, but when we arrived at 20:00 they were already closed.
We paid for a premium pitch but reception closed early and left a message to can near reception on ordinary or late arrival pitch. This would have been unacceptable but a member of staff from Eurocamp took their time to help and sort a better pitch out. Top marks to them.
It had been raining so pitch was soggy and a little muddy.

VIP pitches which includes fridge freezer, parasol, chairs,bbq . Also two pitches had their own toilet block. Which is a fantastic idea and we will be booking one of these on our next trip. Site is clean and tidy. Staff very helpful. Had a lovely stay but weather was awful but that not the sites fault. Thank you we will be back next year.

We love this campsite, it’s our first and last stop of our holidays. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. It’s always clean and tidy, well maintained large level pitches. Lovely shaped hedges and bushes. The shower blocks are always clean and plenty of hot water. The restaurant is very nice, friendly staff and good food and service.
The showers could do with a bit of an update so they don’t splatter. The toilets in the restaurant could do with an update.

Nice site ideally located for accessing Calais. Clean and tidy facilities and plenty of them. Nice pool and slide plus play area and table tennis tables. Beautiful setting and well maintained grounds. Spacious pitches and friendly staff.

A lovely, small & relaxed Castels site with all the amenities for a peaceful break
Lodge is spacious and quite well equipped,
Always find the indoor seating uncomfortable if weather means you sit inside. It's a real shame that these lodges are so dark inside and don't get any sun later in the day, otherwise they would be great.

Very convenient to Chanel tunnel. Lovely peaceful stay. Wide pitches, lots of hedges and trees. Very nice restaurant on site -reasonable prices but very good food and wine. Staff lovely. Very clean facilities.

This is a great quiet site close to the ferry port and Shuttle terminal. It is very friendly with good sized pitches. The restaurant attached to the site offers great food. It is my usual stop for any channel crossing.
The only area for improvement I suggest would be an upgrade to the shower/toilet blocks.
The pitch was nicely sized to allow for space and privacy.

This is our second stay at this camp site and it didn’t disappoint. The covered pool is great when the weather isn’t so good and the facilities are all clean and well maintained. Friendly welcome too.
The only negative is the pool closes very early at 6pm
