Great campsite. Close to the Tunnel. Well kept , great pitches, picturesque very amiable staff.

We loved your campsite. We had a great size pitch with electric and water. The toilet blocks were clean, the pizza was great and our son loved the pool and playground. Beautiful grounds.

The shop could be a little better stocked.

Very friendly and safe site just off the channel tunnel with great facilities, pool area, games areas for kids and lovely cafe bar for that first glass of French wine

Excellent site for any duration stay. Ours was just overnight arriving after 2 a.m. but there was a notice left for us on the reception door advising where we should pitch. Very clean and tidy site,

Been here for one night to get the Ferry early the other day. Think it world also be a nice Place for a longer stay.

Was a very relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. Very nice camp site.

As every other year we have had an amazing stay! Whether we camp or have a caravan, our stay is always delightful.

Gorgeous, quiet campsite, ideal for families with young kids

This was our first stay at La Bien-Assise, though we had previously been to the Castels site in Burgundy. It was also our first port of call on a 6 week trip to Norway. We chose it because of the Castels link and because it was close to Le Shuttle. We are travelling with our dog and wanted a place where he could chill after travelling from the UK. It gave us (and him) exactly what we wanted.

A more extensive wine selection in the bar and the shop. But what we drank was fine.

Less than 30 minutes from Calais PERFECT!!! We didn’t quite realise how close we were to the roundabout so we’re a little concerned about the noise of the road but it didn’t bother us at all! The pool and slide kept our 10 year old amused as did the park and gym equipment! The shop on site is good for your morning bread and croissants etc but that’s about it. The Carrifour and Lidl are only a 5 min drive down the road and are excellent!!!

The take away is good but large chips for 8 euros is a little on the pricey side in my view. It would be lovely to have more pool side space but we just took our chairs down with us as there were limited sunbeds aswell.

We always stop here on our way home. Never been disappointed. Beautiful stay beautiful people amazing campsite

Warm welcome. Busy but peaceful site

The receptionist was very welcoming and the campsite very well kept. Lots of well positioned facility blocks and loads for the kids to do. Great location

One small thing would be to have warm croissants in the morning. It’s a little hard to warm them when staying in a tent.

Absolutely love this campsite and have returned on several occasions. I requested and got a specific pitch which made our stay more enjoyable. Despite the drought conditions, the campsite and all amenities were kept in good condition.

The food in the bar and takeaway were awful compared to previous years. I watched the burgers and pasta dishes heated up in a microwave leaving them tasteless, the cooked fries were left to go cold and served without reheating, the pizzas were cold and soggy and the kitchen and serving staff were no where near as friendly or attentive as previous years. The shop did not have many of the basics stocked, cheese was not available, there were limited supplies of frozen meat and no ice. The ice cream fridges in both the bar and shop were not resupplied throughout the day.

Excellent facilities. Large pitch. Easy access. Well presented campsite. Staff on reception first class - helpful and pleasant.

Bar was busy with drinks and food orders. Only one member serving meant a long wait for a couple of drinks.

Good washrooms, pool, bar, restaurant, playground, crazy golf, big pitches … what else do you need!! & really near the port of you’re heading off early

An excellent site for our final night before getting the train (tunnel) in the morning.

We spent four nights at the campsite and were impressed by its layout, staff and facilities.

The shop is poorly stocked.

Stayed here 1 night on our way home after 3 weeks touring. Excellent reception staff, great facilities for couples and families, lovely restaurant. I highly recommend this site.
