Camping Le Marqueval

Excellent site for exploring a sailing to UK from Dieppe. Locket cycling front he site to the coast or inland on the Velo Du Lin. Nicely manicured pitches and general site. Plenty of hot water and clean facilities. Swimming pool was well used but a good flow of people meant it wasn’t too busy. Having three pools helped too.

The bar at times seemed less inviting with larger groups of people. I guess that’s because some people are resident there. Beer quite expensive

Overall a good campsite, we had a pitch by one of the ponds, with hedges seperating pitches. There was a water tap and drain on the pitch. Showers were good and plentiful. Location 10 minute cycle ride to the sea, Pourville sur mer, with a dedicated cycle path all the way, several nice restaurants, and a beach. We cycled into Dieppe which was mainly on roads, wifi was fast, we would definately stay again if in the area.

Swimming pool could do with updating a little grubby.

We stayed here for 2 nights after the ferry from Dieppe. The site is any easy bike ride or walk into the small village. The bar and pool are a welcome choice when the temperature is in the mid 30’s. We liked it so much we have booked to return for our final night prior to the return ferry trip.

Pleasant stay grandson enjoyed the farm and ducks and weather nice enough for the pool. Nice evening pizza

We booked in Jan 5 months ahead and asked for a pitch on the lake. We ended up with a corner road side trip which was not ideal for a three year old. We noticed lake side pitches used mostly by one nighters coming from ferries etc and a shame for a four night stay we could not have set up on the river. I asked to be moved when one seemed free but told they were all reserved. I explained I had asked too and questioned if their reservation was ahead of mine 6 months earlier.

Had a great time at this site , plenty of wildlife around the ponds to keep us entertained. Close to the sea and walked over the Hill into Dieppe and back along the beach. Nice fresh bread at reception. Nice pitches. The water pressure in the showers is amazing. Really invigorates you in the morning. But make sure you hang your clothes and towel high up. . Overall a great stay .

The pool needs updating as not a nice area with the concrete edges which had some green algae.

Open sewer on pitch, smelt terrible and had overflowed recently on pitch so was boggy - Bin shed was a disgrace literally rat infested by morning it was just a shed of rubbish all over the floor

The camp space is really clean and green. The people who work there are friendly and open-minded so there is nothing to miss!

The mobile homes could stand a little bit less close to the neighbors so there is more private room when sitting outside.

Really lovely pitch on the side of the lake. Walkable to the beach where there are lovely restaurants. Ideal for stopover going to or from the UK on le Shuttle.

Lovely green setting with Ponds.well set out. Very helpful staff and bar/pizzeria was very much appreciated as it was a Bank Holiday and supermarkets were all closed! Would definitely recommend

Stayed for the first 2 nights on our European trip - really nice - well looked after and clean site. Good showers, nice size pitches, quite level. Would stay again.

Good clean facilities, good value with ACSI card, close enough to Dieppe to cycle in

Scenery, clean, lots of supermarkets nearby, 15min walk to beach, heated pool.

Smell (from drains?) in toilet block, no hand drier, stains around edge of pool, loose paving tiles around pool, needs shelves to put shoes at pool entrance to stop piles of shoes causing trip hazard.

We have syaed here before as we use the Newhaven-Dieppe ferry. Easy to get to and facilities are good. Always sure of a warm welcome.

ACSI discount means a very small pitch, but there were many better pitches available when we were there. Would we stay again? Yes, but we would definitely need a bigger pitch.
