We were pleasantly surprised on our arrival at how modern and attractive the campsite was. We simply "chilled out" for most of our stay, with visits to various attractions locally.
I can't actually think of anything!
Our pitch was flat, level with shade from trees and rather worn grass underfoot. We had no issues with the electrics, our electric grill and air fryer didn't trip them as we thought might happen
I know camping helps you get in touch with the Great Outdoors, but we were infested with little fleas, and with snails which found their way inside our Trailer Tent! The shady trees proved a mixed blessing as rainwater dripping off them left dirty marks on our tent's canvas, and birds roosting in them left deposits on the roof!

We liked the pool area and the on site shop. The food take away was good. Good amount of sanitary blocks.
Toilet paper in the cubicle would be good. Some entertainment in English would have been nice. More information given on arrival would have been useful, maybe a booklet with same as received on other sites.

A let down from previous years holiday there the life guards at the pool not stopping people going down the slides 3 and 4 at a time an accident wating to happen onlso the general appearance of the site hedges not trimmed back litter restaurant just serving fast food slowly yes a LETDOWN FROM EARLIER STAYS

Pool was great, accommodation really good. Staff helpful, onsite shop good. Onsite park excellent
Drains were smelly, older children would struggle to be entertained. More entertainment for rainy days, older childrens play equipment a bit dated and tattered. Pool was great but perhaps not as big as some other parks (e.g lazy river is part of existing pool) therefore it got very very busy. I got whacked in the nose twice with balls in the indoor pool and was glad it wasn’t my children (it hurt!) but it’s because it’s busy and there’s no real rules. It was so busy the first week (still French summer hols) that it looked like a shanty town when we came in - tents literally everywhere.
Very smart chalet, lovely and clean, we actually upgraded to a 3 bed. Deck was great
Could do with a gate on the deck with young children. You have to rent a bbq, this should be part of the cost. Very close to chalet behind and the were out on the deck talking and laughing loudly til 2.30am every night keeping our children awake. When we spoke to them about it they were very rude and told us not to tell them how to do their jobs (they had a group of children in tents next to their chalet). They even argued with the warden when he eventually came down (after a week of no sleep we went to get him). There is a rule about not disturbing others but not obvious enough!!

Regarding the smelly drains and the play equipment for older children, we will be looking into this further to improve. As for the swimming pool, we'll be working to better manage the area to ensure greater safety and comfort for all holidaymakers. Crowding during peak season can be a challenge, but we are looking to adjust the organisation of the space to provide a smoother experience for our guests. With regard to noise and incivilities, we are going to make holidaymakers more aware of our rules on peace and quiet, and reinforce their application to ensure mutual respect. Finally, we have taken note of your suggestion about the terrace barrier for young children and the barbecue, and we are giving them serious consideration for the coming seasons. We hope these improvements will make your next stay even more enjoyable!

Bad attitude at reception didn't what to help or be bothered

Disliked the bad smell
Smelt very bad drains or something but again you didn't seem bothered. Broken shower bracket which you knew about before we stayed but did nothing about before or when we stayed. 5 euro part you can pick up from anywhere but you decided not to bother and let paying customers put up with it. Quite frankly shocked as we paid extra to stay at gite
We are sorry to hear that your stay did not live up to your expectations. As mentioned at reception, we were indeed aware of the problem with the broken shower bracket. The missing part was on order, but unfortunately had not yet arrived at the time of your stay. Although the shower was still usable, we understand that this may have been inconvenient. As for the smell, we immediately brought a product to remedy it. We also regret that the welcome you received was not up to our usual standards. Excellent tent pitch with personal ‘shed’ with powerful shower, toilet, sink, mirror, hanging rails etc. Also covered area for all your camping cookware, lots of sockets plus the hook up, sink, cupboard and a good sized fridge. Great pools and slides, plentiful and available loungers. Sanded play area was superb as were the table tennis tables dotted around. 3 bars dotted around which were always staffed. Flat and safe for bike riding around camp. Lovely on site restaurant; we ate out too and on site was on par so well done.
Toilets in the bar areas were clean but smelly. Odd as communal toilets around camp didn’t have the same issues.
As above, the tent pitch with the ‘en-suite’ was superb.

Site has a nice atmosphere. Very helpful staff, receptionists/ restaurant staff were great.
Swimming pool area felt almost too small for the number of clients on hot days, particularly availability of loungers.
Very spacious pitch, plenty of room for our motor home and gazebo. Had some shade as well as sunny parts, which suited us both! Tap close by.

The accommodation, site, facilities, entertainment and staff were all 5 star. My family and I absolutely loved our stay, we cant wait to come back next year. Everyone was so friendly, everything was so clean. There is something to do for everyone..
The high roof and walls make this seem larger. We loved this villa and the grill outside
We stayed in a Villa which was quite expensive. Maybe having the sheets changed for us (only once and after the first week) as we stayed for two weeks would have been nice. But again this didnt annoy or upset our stay as i just changed them myself. Maybe providing more utensils to use the grill as there is no oven we used it nearly everyday.

I loved my stay at Chadotel, from the fabulous campsite where you can take a dip from 10am in the pool or hop into the jacuzzi pool which was a real treat for me. There were plenty of toilet blocks where we could shower and use the lavatory. There were sinks to wash our dishes quickly and easily. A well stocked shop that we frequented for ice cream and water every day. The kids were delighted as there was a climbing frame, soccer pitch and basketball court. We had a fabulous pitch where we could hear the laughter and chat around us in the evenings as people cooked up their meals on BBQs.
It would be even better if soccer pitch was separated from basketball court because if you fall playing soccer, which is inevitable, you fall on concrete which happened to my son. An astro type surface would be ideal.
I loved the size of the pitch and I loved our location in the corner.
Some nights there was laughter and talking well into the early hours of the night but I think that I have to expect that.

Had a lovely stay. Had a pitch with private facilities which was good although a window would be good in bathroom as in the sun it was very hot in there.
Not great for English as the entertainment day and night in French. Not much to do in the local area. Not well directed to walk into the local town, we needed to use Google Maps.

2nd time here, much bigger than last year, the pool is fantastic, staff are all helpful and friendly, not all speak English, but this never caused any issues, food was really good, all amenities on site that you would need, near some fantastic beaches. Will deffo go back again.
Only. Negative would be the wait for the food when you order from the take away, sometime the queue was quiet slow to get through, but that was more due to how popular the food was, with the number of people ordering and the number of staff working, especially when you have kids who are hungry

We have stayed at this site many times and feel this is the perfect site for our needs. The site is always clean, the staff very friendly and accomodating. On arrival this year we were very impressed with the upgrades to the front entrance and also with the new layout of the additional bar, restaurant, outdoor seating and petanque area which made the space more inclusive. Happy to see that no changes had been made to the pool area as this is ideal for all ages already. The site is ideally located close to the village centre, beach, marina and watermark. Keep up the excellent work
The only comment I can make is that large inflatables were allowed in the pool this year as apposed to previous visits, this made swimming and enjoying the lazy river difficult. I would like to see this returned with none allowed
The pitch was a decent size which allowed for an awning and be able to park the car on the pitch and private.
Our pitch was very difficult to get a twin axle caravan in without a mover due to the narrow entrance and space between pitches, it would have been impossible if there was someone on the opposite pitch.

We had a great stay with a great welcome at reception on day one. We stayed in very good cabins which were clean new and well equipped. The terrace outside our mobile home was perfect covered and not overlooked. Our children really enjoyed the pool as well
The only draw back for us were the bamboo disposable bed sheets which were really uncomfortable.
