Nice swimming pool with slides for (small) children. Clean camping with small play garden and football pitch.
All communication, information and animator is in French. There are also a lot of foreign visitors from Belgium, Germany and Netherlands who can't understand French. Chadotel needs to appreciate these visitors more with better communication in English.
Lay-out with 3 bedrooms are good.
Everything inside the mobile home was basic. Dirt after arrival. We found some glasses of the former visitors. For example a simple water cooker or kettle is missing. Furthermore all season visitors around the mobile home does have a wind shield on the side which is sometimes needed during the (colder) evenings.

Entertainment was good, pools and camping facilities were faultless
We had a power bank on charge in sanitation area that was stolen after speaking to reception nothing had been handed in, next day spoke to cleaner who advised there were cameras that could have been looked at if we had been made aware at the time. Inconvenience caused as cycling holiday as was an essential piece of kit required for navigation

Had a lovely pitch in a good location close to all facilities , friendly welcome from staff when arrived , had a good time.
Stagger opening times with staff at reception not to wait in hot vehicles.

Meter box on side of road rattles , noisy change to a more secure cover as cars driving over.

The pitch we were allocated originally did not suit us, but the staff were happy to relocate us to the top end of the site, which was very quiet.

We were in camping lodges which were excellent

Roomy, well equipped, good sized veranda. We brought our own camping chairs because we are unable to get out of deck chairs being elderly. Loved the bamboo for privacy. Lived outside more most of our three weeks.
No sink but understand why. Being close to the road a couple times people free camped in the outside parking and were very noisy in the early hours

Staff were incredibly friendly! Site is well maintained, with staff checking on all facilities regularly. Excellent quality food in snack bar, all reasonably priced. Variety of accommodation options. Pools are beautiful. Indoor and outdoor options, with plenty of seating/ loungers available. Short walk to stunning local beach and town. I would highly recommend this campsite and look forward to returning soon!!
Hand soap available in all toilets would be fantastic ( although this site was better than most French sites for supplying soap in many of the bathrooms)
I loved the layout. Bedrooms were well proportioned. Separate toilet from shower room was great ( although would have preferred small hand basin in toilet) Galley kitchen was well thought out, with plenty of storage. French doors onto patio were excellent. Patio furniture and large clothes horse were great for relaxed evenings after a day at the pool!
A couple of extra poolside parasols might have been nice, (although we were at this accommodation during a heatwave) A small mirror in each bedroom would have made a difference to my family, although I appreciated a long mirror in Master bedroom and mirror over sink in shower room. Plastic covers on mattresses and pillows was horrendous to sleep on - even with our sheets& pillows

A motor mover is helpful but ours had Brocken and the staff on site helped us move the van so not a problem

Restaurant is just a snack corner. Strange that the reception is closed between 12.00 and 15.00. and bread if you dont pre order. Read no shop. For such a big campsite no service.

A friendly, peacefully site within easy walking distance of the beach and village centre. Lovely clean pools and plenty of sun loungers. Washrooms very clean and whole site well looked after. Friendly staff who spoke English. Well priced.
We went in June so snack bar not open 2 till 5 which was when we would have liked an icecream, but understandable as not enough people on site to make it worth opening.

Excellent site. Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Short walk to lovely beach and the village where there is a small supermarket, bars and restaurants and a nice food market on Friday.
The on site shop could be bigger with a wider selection of goods.
Good sized pitch with plenty of shade as it was very hot during our stay. Sanitary facilities, showers, toilets, wash up and laundry and Motorhome point all close by.
