Great location, wonderful welcome Facilities modern, clean and well maintained. Restaurant onside, menu a little limited but well priced and appetising. Will certainly be back!
A "special" daily on the restaurant menu might be an idea but everything good

Could have been a little tidier on pitch abd hedges around pitch.

Pitch could have done with a littke tidy up - grass/weeds and hedges trimmed would gave improved the look. It did nit affect our stay at all.

Very large site within the nature. Quite well shadowed under a big tree. The only problem does not depend on the camping site: heat wave. Very good restaurant

We liked the big pitches, and that we were allowed to move to a shadier area. The facilities were clean. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful.
We could not find where to obtain water. Some confusion when I asked. Another camper told us where the taps were situated.

It's hard to think of any improvements as this is one of the best sites we have stayed at.

We have stayed here many times, it’s a great wee site nestled away in the countryside… there are lovely walks and bike trails nearby. The town of la chatre is charming and has many cafes and restaurants. The restaurant on the site is superb but you need to book !
Our pitch was large enough for us and very clean with lots of trees nearby. The pitches are different shapes if you arrive at a quieter time you can get a choice- which is great

Lovely site , staff friendly , facilities top nitch... Clean, everything there. It realy is a great find. Pitches are big, and a lovely swimming pool. Easy walk into Town. We will return!

Fantasic site, very welcoming gentleman at reception who speaks very good English, very helpful and flexible about which pitch, 8 is good for shade in the afternoon, very clean toilets and showers, washing machine €3 token from reception, pool is lovely, unheated but very clean, stayed an extra night, restaurant was lovely, excellent steak and fantastic fish, around £35 for 3 courses + drinks so good value, would definitely come back.village is a shady 20 min walk along an old railway line outside the gate, the village itself is beautiful, nice centre with cafes and bar, great Saturday market

Really friendly and helpful reception on arrival and was shown all the facilities. The facilities were clinically clean and the campsite itself was week maintained and cared for. The restaurant was excellent - staff were friendly and helpful and food was good and value for money taking into account the quality of ingredients and location. We will be going back in future having found this gem of a campsite
The only major improvement they could make is to control the weather which none of us can sadly. A minor suggestion is that manhole cover for the chemical toilet waste water was a bit heavy to lift.

The gentleman at reception when I arrived was very informative and polite. He explained where everything was and then walked me to the site. The ablutions were spotlessly clean. There was a restaurant on site which I did not get to use but I have heard it is very popular with people from the town. The swimming pool was great. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely be going back there.

Merci d'avoir pris le temps de partager votre avis. Nous sommes toutefois très surpris par votre remarque concernant les sanitaires. Ils ont été entièrement rénovés il y a peu et nous recevons très régulièrement des commentaires soulignant leur qualité, leur confort et leur propreté. Concernant le bruit, notre camping est justement reconnu pour son calme, ce qui est d'ailleurs un point souvent apprécié par nos vacanciers. Nous sommes donc désolés si votre ressenti a été différent durant votre séjour. Enfin, nous tenons à préciser que notre établissement est classé **4 étoiles**. Nous vous remercions pour votre retour et vous souhaitons une bonne continuation.

Mes petits enfants sont venus camper afin de pouvoir nous rendre visite. Ils ont adoré passer du temps au camping où notre arrière petit fils a pu s'amuser dans un cadre sécurisé loin des lieux trop touristiques.
