Clean and tidy site, well laid out to give enough privacy. Helpful reception made our stay very pleasant. Reasonably priced restaurant serving good fresh food.
It's hard to think of any improvements as this is one of the best sites we have stayed at.
Comfort motorhome pitch, spacious and far enough away from our neighbours.

We have stayed here many times, it’s a great wee site nestled away in the countryside… there are lovely walks and bike trails nearby. The town of la chatre is charming and has many cafes and restaurants. The restaurant on the site is superb but you need to book !
Our pitch was large enough for us and very clean with lots of trees nearby. The pitches are different shapes if you arrive at a quieter time you can get a choice- which is great

Lovely site , staff friendly , facilities top nitch... Clean, everything there. It realy is a great find. Pitches are big, and a lovely swimming pool. Easy walk into Town. We will return!

Fantasic site, very welcoming gentleman at reception who speaks very good English, very helpful and flexible about which pitch, 8 is good for shade in the afternoon, very clean toilets and showers, washing machine €3 token from reception, pool is lovely, unheated but very clean, stayed an extra night, restaurant was lovely, excellent steak and fantastic fish, around £35 for 3 courses + drinks so good value, would definitely come back.village is a shady 20 min walk along an old railway line outside the gate, the village itself is beautiful, nice centre with cafes and bar, great Saturday market

Really friendly and helpful reception on arrival and was shown all the facilities. The facilities were clinically clean and the campsite itself was week maintained and cared for. The restaurant was excellent - staff were friendly and helpful and food was good and value for money taking into account the quality of ingredients and location. We will be going back in future having found this gem of a campsite
The only major improvement they could make is to control the weather which none of us can sadly. A minor suggestion is that manhole cover for the chemical toilet waste water was a bit heavy to lift.

The gentleman at reception when I arrived was very informative and polite. He explained where everything was and then walked me to the site. The ablutions were spotlessly clean. There was a restaurant on site which I did not get to use but I have heard it is very popular with people from the town. The swimming pool was great. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely be going back there.

We kunnen altijd negatief zijn, maar dat hoeft niet...de mensen doen hun best om alles klaar te stomen...

Nous avons aimé le calme de l'emplacement en fin de saison, les balades à partir du camping, le restaurant sur place, la piscine lorsqu'il n'y a pas d'enfants ou adolescents qui sautent dedans.

Nous avons aimé la simplicité, mais avec tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner, la grande douche, les arbres tout proches, la terrasse, la buanderie.
Les précédents utilisateurs n'ont pas laissé la vaisselle impeccable.

Très bon accueil, une cabane cosy, un restaurant excellent, une belle piscine, des beaux circuits VTT et surtout un calme bien reposant.
