Access through the park with a 2.5m wide x 8m long caravan was awkward at times

It’s been 9 years since we were last here and the place is every bit as good if not better than that visit. The whole team are excellent with such friendly service throughout. The restaurant is just too good to not eat at! We did many times! The pool area is delightful and the whole site is spotlessly clean and tidy. We had a very nice pitch that was well located.

A good size with a nice view. Not too shady. Nice to have own drainage and water.
We were unlucky with weather and so the pitch could be a little soft and muddy but dried out quickly.

Loved the staff so friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was good. Everything you need. Clean toilets etc. Great little walk into the village. Definitely recommend it. Food was good in the restaurant and staff spoke English
Only thing I would say is soap dispenser in toilets. Remembering to take soap each time was a pain. Otherwise nothing

pre ordered baguettes should be able to be collected simply without waiting for other bar traffic etc.. Had to buy own mugs/cups as ones in lodge too small. English like their tea! Mosquito screen on bedroom (& bathroom) windows, to allow ventilation in Bedroom (too wasteful leaving Aircon on.)

see above re window ventilation. Thought costs of towels, sheets, and cleaning too high. (My own thoughts..).

We very much enjoyed our stay. The site has a very nice atmosphere, set in a quiet and beautiful location. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant and pool are also very good.

Everything seemed to be good can't think of anything to improve it.
Can't comment on the sun loungers because never used them, not a great fan so brought my own reclining chair which someone commented on as they were leaving saying they wish they'd brought theirs.

Lovely welcome, spotlessly clean cabin. The village and its close proximity. Glorious countryside with beautiful villages.
Well equipped, good kitchen, comfortable bed. Adequate storage. Good , private space around.
Do not like the upright sofa designed to turn into a bed. 2 comfortable chairs would be good. The main bedroom is very small. The sundowners are back breaking.

The site is gorgeous in a very pretty and peaceful area. Close to the pretty village and abbey, 5 min walk. Highly recommend the restaurant food was delicious but book early as the locals love it!!!
Only the soggy pitches, but there had been so much rain there was nothing the campsite could do.
Good level hard standing for half the pitch but the other half was very soggy. Good size pitch.

We were unable to come this year due to breakdown of car. But on past experience it was brilliant. That’s why we return every year and will book up for next year when the books open again.

Great pool but too shallow, seems to be the same depth apart form a very small area. Not good for swimming. Would have liked to have been told beforehand when the restaurant would be closed. Did enquire when booking that it would be open but no mention of what days it would be closed. No ACSI discount as told that as i booked on website then it was a fixed price. Over many years have never experienced this with any other site as usually you pay the deposit and the ACSI discount applied to the balance.

Pleasant stay
Twice we have booked online using our ACSI cards and each time we explain to receptionist they have not taking the ACSI price into account (off season) so have paid more than the ACSI website are advertising. So not sure why they say the campsite accept the card but don’t take the discount into con. We paid €33.75 for one night (including one dog) and on ACSI website it should be €23 (including one dog)

The friendliest campsite I’ve ever stayed on. The bar and restaurant are open and well used by the locals,which gives a lovely atmosphere. The toilet facilities are spotlessly clean. All the staff are friendly and look as if they enjoy being there. The Sunday morning coffee and cake is a must to get to know other campers.

Superb pitch, lovely setting on edge of village in beautiful countryside. Friendly staff. Good restaurant.
Pool not much good for adults who want to swim (as opposed to splash). Chimique point near us was difficult to use and messy.
