CAMPING DES ABERS

This campsite is in the most fabulous location. Surrounded by stunning beaches, looked after with great care by its owners and carefully terraced so the pitches have views and are a good size. Everything is clean and well ordered and proper investment has clearly been given to the sites facilities and surroundings. The staff are smiling and enthusiastic and it has beena total pleasure to have spent a few days there.

Great at staff and good size pitches

Reception was super friendly. Great showers- worth the extra cost, good bread service, clean bath houses. A lovely restaurant next to the campsite (reservations recommended even in low season). Beautiful walks on the coastal trail in both directions. Huge sandy beach with sandy swimming area.

Either disposal cans in each individual toilet stall or baggies for ladies to dispose of menstruation items. Dogs get baggies provided but not women. It is next to impossible for us ladies to do our business without one of these two options when it cannot be flushed.

A great site on a beautiful stretch of Brittany coast. Facilities good. Staff unfailingly helpful and cheerful.

Shower blocks a little bit tired

We came here in 2017 and loved it then. Today it’s still as good if not better. The staff are very helpful the the setting is excellent.

This has been the best campsite I visited in my 5 weeks in the Bretagne. From the warm welcome at the reception, to being personally shown where your pitch is, to the services (great hairdresser) and amenities on site and also the animation programme, everything has been perfect. I wish I could have stayed longer but it was fully booked. I will definitely return. I have to praise every member of staff again who has made me feel so welcome - it was like being part of a family. 10 stars!

I had very noisy neighbours who were talking late at night every night (sometimes till 00:30). They also had children who were still running and screaming after 11PM. The children were often crying around 3AM and one of the nights, the parents made inappropriate noise from 3-4AM. I appreciate that everyone is having a holiday, but this family was disrespectful to all others.

Toiletten en douches beetje weinig voor zoveel mensen. Vaak alles bezet, bovendien waren 2 van de 4 douches in ons blok bij de dames kapot. Douchen met een muntje.

We have been here four times and love this clean well maintained campsite with friendly staff.

Coastal position is beautiful. Excellent facilities. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Wash blocks were very good. Pitches are a good size. There is an ‘animations’ programme with something happening every day/evening.

In quite typical French style, the electricity connection box for some pitches can be a long way from your pitch so you may need a second cable. The power can ‘dip’ during times of high demand so be sure to have plenty of gas for your fridge to switch over!

Absolutely loved it!! Very friendly welcome. We were absolutely amazed by the coast and beach which is at walking distance from the site. We loved joining the choir and the Sunday open mic evening was so entertaining. Will definitely come back to Aber campsite.

We were made very welcome on this site and staff were super helpful. We had a lovely pitch which we could choose and there were plenty of bush screens to give privacy. It’s fairly big but no problem with noise, it’s right by the beach with lovely walks and cycle rides.There is a bar and restaurant next door and very well stocked little supermarket.

The showers were hot but possibly a bit tired.
