We have been visiting and staying at Camping Monteglin for over 20 years and whilst the facilities have massively improved over the years the site maintains its charm and relaxed atmosphere
The improvements I would have mentioned have been made over the past two years
Our pitch was larger than we required which meant we were not blocked in and had plenty of space
Not a dislike, but better shade would make all the difference - this will come as the trees mature

I like the view, the landing for paragliding and the atmosphere.
Sanitair is too old, needs to be renewed. Not enough electric points and no water points.

It was wet near a tree and it almost got into my tent.

This camp site is a very good place to go for hang gliding and paragliding.
The sanitaire is very outdated. After a good day flying you some comfort and a good shower. If the sanitair would be renovated, than would this the best camping four flying adventures.
We had a good shady pitch.
Every early morning we were woked up by the people who went to work. That was very noisy and much to early when you are on vacation.

Lots of trees for shade, swimming pool to cool off on hot days, close to paragliding launch site at Charbres, and great places to visit nearby. Lovely new bar! Nico the manager is a gem.

I’ve been coming to Camping de Montéglin for nearly ten years now, and I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite places to stay. Under the care and management of Niko, the campsite has truly flourished and become even better year after year. The recent addition of modern cabins with air conditioning is a real game-changer — comfortable, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day of outdoor fun. Speaking of which, the area is packed with amazing activities for the whole family: hiking, biking, swimming, and more — all in the heart of breathtaking nature.

Not very soundproof but it is what it is.
Right at the landing, friendly staff, the 6/7 people cabin has 5 real beds. Everything works, even though keep in mind it is a basic cabin. Short walk from the centre.
Hot water exists but it is a bit tricky to use.

Noise was sometimes a problem. Some residents are leaving early for work and this can disturb others. Perhaps leave cars at the entrance/parking area and request a "Quiet period" between 2330 - 0700 The shower/washrooms are clean but they are now quite old and would benefit from being refurbished.

Friendly place, great host and staff. Everything great. We had a small tent with no space for the paragliders and Nico was very kind to let us keep them in the reception. Great food, drinks and facilities. Everything always neat and clean. Great place to spend holidays. Great week. For sure we will recommend and return.
