Camping Saint Nicolas

Lovely site in the middle of Normandy. We used it as a stop over for the ferry in Dieppe but wished we had stayed longer to explore the local area. The owner is friendly and helpful. Pitches are big and flat on grass. We didnt use the pool but all the amenities are clean.

The site is extremely well run by a very friendly team of people. We use the site as a stopover whilst travelling to and from the South West of France. It is well maintained. The restaurant is very good value for money and serves Moules as a specialty. The location is very very quiet in rural Normandy. There are excellent walks nearby which as a dog owner is superb.

For British campers, a waste water drain would be useful as they tend to wash plates etc in their caravan.

We had a fabulous meal in the restaurant. The staff were so friendly.

Push button water taps were annoying

We had 2 nights here. It was very well maintained and welcoming. We shall return.

It is clean and generally well looked after.

Soap in the bathroom would be nice so people could wash their hands. The disabled shower seat needed attention and looks dangerous.

A lovely site with all the amenities. Showers were clean and hot and the pitch size was more than adequate. Ideal for our one night stopover from the ferry.

Campsite is very well kept, clean and tidy grounds with hedging and plants giving a charming view. Toilets and showers kept clean. A wonderful on site restaurant , the Moules and Frites were amazing and so was the home made cider. All the staff were very friendly.

Maybe showers could be looked at as took a very long time to get hot water through.

We booked in for 2 nights stayed 3.Great clean tidy facilities.Very friendly and a lovely meal in the restaurant. Good family stop small pool well used.Short hike through the woods to beautiful village.

We loved our stay so much we returned after our French trip staying for 2 days site has a very nice atmosphere and friendly Village & Abby beautiful

We think this was one of the best campings during our holidays. Lots of space, very friendly staff, excellent restaurant and everything is well organised. Only thing is the sanitair facilities.... too outdated and not very clean

Check and clean toilets and showers more often and invest in an upgrade

I’ve been to this site many times in the past but it’s always been one or two nights as it’s convenient for the tunnel back to or from the UK. This visit we stayed for five days and have booked a week on the way home. The site is beautiful and the owners (Mr & Mrs Ancelot) are very particular in the upkeep. It shows lots of hard work has been put into the flowers and they are amazing. So much colour. There is a restaurant on site but has to be booked because it’s very popular. There is a baker on site from 8:15 and has a lovely spread of fare. The place has something you can’t buy, charm.

Please don’t change anything.

Owners very friendly. Sociable site and seems a "pitch where you like" place. Something there for everyone.

Pitch allocation and boundaries

Very peaceful and friendly. Village a short walk through woodland path is stunning - like a film set! Campsite has lovely boules pitch, pool and good facilities ie shower and washing up. Able to order croissants for the morning and there is a small onsite shop for essentials as the village does not have a shop.

Heated pool but that is being very picky!

Good facilities, a nice environment, friendly staff, secure, safe and peaceful at night. Food good on site also. Our fourth visit here. We will be back.
