The reception was warm and informative, the site well laid out and the amenities block clean and of sufficient size for the campsite. The pool was heated and clean with a few sun loungers around the perimeter. It is a wonderful base for visiting the village of Le Bec-Hellouin with a signposted walk through the wooded area to the Abbaye. There is also a cycle path for those wishing to go further afield on non trafficked roads, although the roads themselves surrounding the site are not busy. All in all a wonderful 6 night stay to kick off our French tour.

Love the fact that you can wander around when you arrive and pick your own pitch. Empty when we arrived early afternoon but almost full by 21.00 with overnighter from all countries. Great little bar and snack bar with lovely Moules and chips.
The showers are tired and need an upgrade. They are clean though.

This site is so peaceful . We were only there for one night stopover but are thinking about going back for a longer stay to explore the area as there seems to be quit a lot to do

Friendly staff, very little English spoken. Good sized pitches with EHU and water.. We liked that we could choose our own pitch and there was a good mix of sunny and shaded pitches. The pool was welcome to cool down.
Showers are push button with no temperature control, the timer was around 10-15 seconds and it’s difficult to rinse long hair with one hand on the button.
Lovely pitches in well maintained grounds. Excellent value.
The approach road is narrower than expected.

Friendly staff , great facilities, good sized flat pitches. The pool was such a bonus in the recent heat ! The bar and restaurant were great too.
The pitch was just right. We should have picked a spot with more shade but that was our mistake !

As usual we were made very welcome by the very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was to much trouble for them, the site and facilities are excellent, the food in the restaurant is very good and plentiful.

Our pitch which we were allowed to choose our own, was very adequate, there is plenty of options to choose from, the pitches are very spacious which allows you to position your van however you want it.

Pleasant welcoming and friendly staff. I wish I had been aware there was a restaurant and bar. My mistake not the sites, not reading the information properly. Looking forward to returning on our way back.

We had a great week at Camping St Nicolas. Big pitch, good, exceptionally clean facilities. Close to the beautiful village of Le Bec Hellouin. The owners are very friendly and all the staff are fantastic.
