Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoWe have visited Le Brevedent several times now and have always loved our stays there!
Showers could do with a bit of attention especially in the newer block
Perfect size and the additional items provided were in good condition and well looked after. Fridge worked perfectly
Nothing apart from car breaking down on the way home!

Such a brilliant campsite - Raphael and his team do an amazing job of making everyone feel welcome and relaxed. Loved the music night as always, perfect pitch and beautiful pool areas. Great improvements to the cafe with the new seating area - the toilets/facilities seemed really clean and well looked after this year as well. Morning croissants and baguettes some of the best we have at campsites in France. Thanks for another great stay!

Great pitch, lovely views of chateau and surrounding trees, etc. Like being able to pick own pitch prior to arrival.

We had a very nice time there, enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool (with section for young children), the restaurant with playground and all the bunnies, ducks and chicken walking/hopping around.
We stayed in the mobile home premium, which was not large but comfortable enough. The deck terrace was the best part of it.
The sofa was stained, the bedroom space was quite limited, one of the single beds wasn't so clean (the matrass), and a bathroom window couldn't close properly.

Lovely historical setting, everything thought of with plenty to do onsite or in surrounding area.
Very homely and comfortable.

We loved our stay at le Brévedent. Very nice vibe, and not too big. All seems very personal and friendly.
Nothing negative to say. Keep doing what you are doing!
The shed with all the bits inside really help lift a camping pitch to the next level. Great size. Loved it.
Nothing negative to say.

This campsite is a total delight! The setting is beautiful, the staff are so friendly, amenities great. There is a lovely rustic cafe and a great restaurant, the owner's band plays a couple of times a week and is fantastic. We met families who have been going for years every summer and I can understand why. There's a pool, free kayaks for the lake, rabbits and chickens running around, all set around a stunning mini chateau.
Our pitch couldn't cope with the rain! Some sofas somewhere to relax when it rains would be perfect. Organised games for the kids would also be great.
Setting by lake, surrounded by trees. Spacious pitch with shed full of helpful things: table chairs, deck chairs, bbq. We had our own plug sockets in the shed and a fridge. Nearby toilets and showers were always spotless.
The mud! Our pitch was in a dip and got little direct sunlight. It rained heavily our first night and in the morning the pitch was thick mud. The owner brought us some wooden decking but we were still slipping around in inches of mud for the rest of the stay. It would be the perfect pitch in good weather but not if it rains. We were in L2 and then L3 and both were muddy.

Large pitch and hot water in the showers. It had a lovely fishing lake and a good restaurant. Was a good stop on the way back to the ferry. We received a lovely friendly welcome
We have a large twin axle caravan the site is tight for manoeuvring around.
Nice sized pitch with table and chairs
Low power feed to the caravan from the post. We couldn’t have our fridge on the electric as the power wasn’t strong enough.

It was amazing. It was my first trip as a single mum with my 3 children but the camping was amazing. It was really relaxing and beautiful. The staff was super friendly, the musicnights were so good, the camping was beautiful and nicely located. Me and my children loved it very much and will go back for sure.
A beautiful spot to put our tent

All the facilities etc were excellent, but there is something more, a good 'energy' about the place which is hard to find. We had a wonderful time and will return.
Perfect for us

Wow what a campsite! I’ve never stayed on a campsite like this. The Brévedent team work really hard to make your stay a memorable one. Love all the activities provided - the music evenings, yoga, pony rides to name a few. Lovely large pitches with scenic views. Helpful happy staff.. loved the eco effort you are making at the campsite. My daughter loved the goat feeding. Good drinks choices at the bar. I will definitely recommend. The site and will definitely check out other campsites run by you.
Some of the toilet blocks could do with modernisation but they were generally kept clean and tidy. Water sometimes cool in the modern shower block. Food in cafe - sandwiches and toasts served in cafe could be a bit more inspiring/tasty. Putting on more pony riding - tended to get booked up. Restarting the cider tour! The Friday night band were great but possibly finishing the music slightly earlier.
Really good sized pitch with a great view. Electrics worked well - no tripping!

Camping Le Brévedent hits the perfect spot for us - utterly authentic and chilled but also doing a great job of catering for families with activities that are brilliant enough to get adults involved too. The pool, restaurant, cafe, playgrounds and live music are all great, and the friendly staff give it a real unique air - I can’t even think of an equivalent holiday park in the UK because of that French je ne sais quoi.
Perfect - really comfortable and spacious

Comfortable cottage, really nice live music. Friendly staff. Good bakery service. Nice vibe and welcome (with cider!)
A bit more small towels and cleaning wipes. I would prefer less cars on the campsite. The food in the restaurant was medium (eat there 2 times), with a bit more attention it can be much better!
Outside spacious, many options to relax. Terras with a roof was nice with some rainy days.
We had almost no sun:(. No wardrobe, the bedrooms are small. A tip is more romantic (colorfull) light outside, or candles.

Beautiful setting, welcoming and professional staff, well thought out facilities and services and a really nice, chilled out atmosphere
There was a problem with the draining and septic tank which created a bad odour near the playground and crazy golf area. So we had to avoid it. Bit disappointed with the restaurant menu - was expecting less chips and more buddha bowls from the website!
Was very happy with the fridge and seating/table facilities provided.
Pitch was a bit overlooked and on a bit of a slant which i didn't expect from a premium pitch.

My second time visiting. Absolutely brilliant once again. Fantastic staff, friendly and helpful and a truly brilliant location.
A (very) minor thing...the showers not staying on when you push the button (a couple of seconds max) is frustrating. I appreciate it's more eco friendly to not waste water but my young daughter found it very difficult. As I said, the only thing!
Plenty of space

This is such a special campsite. Highlights included the live band music nights, pony rides at nearby stables, canoeing on the lake, great food in the restaurant, lovely pool and chickens and rabbits wandering round everywhere! Also all staff were really friendly and accommodating. We would have liked to stay longer and are already planning to return for a longer stay next Summer!
The showers nearest to us looked great with plenty of room in the cubicles but actually didn’t work very well, I think because the shower heads are too high up the water seems to somehow miss you! But the showers in the block by the cafe were great, again lots of space to put things in the cubicles.
We stayed in our campervan. The pitch was really big - the biggest we’ve had in France -so we have plenty of space to set up our awning, eating area etc. Electric hook up and drinking water close by and convenient.

This is a magical, wonderful site in Normandy. It has everything for a relaxing and enjoyable stay with family. The scenery is beautiful, plenty to do for the kids swimming kayaking 2 playgrounds. Great food in the restaurant and cafe, and most of all a warm welcome and very helpful staff team. Can’t wait to return.
Situation was great between the pool and the lake. Generous size pitch.

Such an amazing place, a proper switch off. If you are looking for a big holiday park this isn't for you but if you are after wholesome, back to basics living then this is for you. Gorgeous little cafe and restaurant on site, pool and park for the kids. We loved it so much we've booked again. Staff were incredible, so friendly, helpful and kind. This place is filled with character and charm.
Excellent pitch

Loved the live music nights and the friendly staff. Also sitting outside the cafe in the morning having a cup of coffee with the view of the chateau.
Having the cafe open in the morning for coffee and croissant.
Nice secluded pitch.
Unfortunately the neighbours behind the pitch were noisy.
