Located in a special area, the campsite is just outside the village with easy access. Clean, quiet and well run. Lovely staff on site.
The long code on the keypad to access the bathrooms and camp kitchen area was difficult to read in the dark!
Nice shady site - we paid extra to book a specific site with shade.

The Camping Le Clos du Pin was a perfect base for us to explore the region. It was clean, friendly and what I would describe as a "good quality 3* campsite. It's not a 5* site, and doesn't pretend to be. But it has everything you need, and is in a stunning location. If we're in the area again we will definitely come back here.
The only minor issue is that at certain times, the shower and washing-up facilities are busy, so sometimes you might have to queue for a couple of minutes, but apart from that we have nothing bad to say about this place.
Our pitch was plenty big enough for us, had shade from the trees at certain times of the day, the electric hook-up worked consistently and it was only a short walk to the shower block. It was lovely to wake up/go to sleep to the sound of the stream running along the back of the campsite and the cow bells in the distance.

Received a very warm welcome from lady on reception. Although we were only staying one night she took the time to explain all the facilities and showed us to our pitch.

We had a good sized, grass pitch with electric which was ideal for our 7m long motorhome.

Lovely little location and great facilities. Every thing was clean. The staff were friendly. The delivery of bread in the morning was super helpful.

The receptionist Mano was very helpful, she even helped me out when my motorhome got stuck on some ice. The amenities block was modern and always clean. Fresh bread can be ordered from reception.
A higher amperage of electric would improve the site, especially in winter.
The pitch was grass but frozen in winter.

With the ski bus stop opposite, fresh bread and croissants daily, stunning scenery and warm clean facilities this campsite is perfect-thank you for another excellent stay.

Environnement magnifique, Le Grand-Bornand est un village très dynamique. Météo parfaite.

Accueil du premier jour glacial! Emplacement pour une tente sur du gros cailloux, très bruyant le long d'une route très fréquentée par des camions, voitures et motos. Sanitaires à la limite de la propreté en fin de journée. Pas de service au camping. 44€ la nuit pour une tente, une voiture, un forfait électricité et deux adultes pour un service minimum, c'est le plus cher payé en trente années de camping!

Petit camping à taille humaine. Rivière en contrebas du camping agréable pour se rafraîchir pendant cette semaine de forte chaleur.
Emplacement trop peu ombragé. Éventuellement, dépôt de pain à 7h30 serait mieux que 8h10 surtout pour ceux qui ne veulent pas partir trop tard en rando.

La situation par rapport au village et aux navettes, la taille du camping, la propreté des lieux .
L'espace service camping car : guère pratique pour la vidange des eaux grises. Nous séjournons au Clos du Pin depuis depuis 5 ans et constatons un accueil et une écoute moins attentifs : Nous étions 3 adultes à séjourner en fourgon camping car , nous avons demandé à échanger notre emplacement contre un emplacement libre. Il nous a été répondu que l'emplacement libre était destiné aux tentes, ce que nous avons bien compris. Sauf que...la tente qui s'est installée sur cet emplacement s'est révélée ressembler furieusement à un camping-car qui a séjourné la même durée

Réduire la vitesse sur la route. S’écarter de la route. Avoir une navette aussi pour le retour du Grand Bornand. Aménager un accès à la rivière. Avoir un pont pour accéder à l’autre rive et faciliter l’accès à pied vers le Danay et le village.
Roulotte. Bien aménagée et équipée.
Trop près de la route. Bien préciser l’âge autorisé et le poids pour les lits superposés. Une lumière vers la table de picnic serait un plus, ainsi qu’une pergola

Je suis venue en tente de toit avec mes deux filles. Nous ne sommes restées que deux jours car nous avions composé avec un autre camping en fonction des disponibilités, mais j'aurais aimé y rester plus longtemps ! L'accueil est extra, les infrastructures super propres, l'emplacement ombragé et suffisamment intimiste.

Seul bémol mais pour lequel on ne peut rien y faire : notre emplacement était le long d'une route juste à la sortie du village, on entendait les voiture y passer assez vite tôt le matin. Mais la plupart des emplacements ne sont pas le long de la route, le bruit est donc limité.

Bon séjour dans la roulotte et dans ce camping bien situé, pas trop loin de la ville. Nous avons apprécié l'espace bien être et l'espace extérieur que nous avions avec la roulotte.
Le camping est situé par d'une route très passante. Dans la roulotte, ce serait bien d'avoir le chargeur de l'aspirateur. Les oreillers n'étaient pas confortables (trop gros). L'espace jeux (pétanque, ping pong) pourrait etre mieux: table a meme hauteur d'une autre matière. Merci.
