Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoAs usual the staff were super friendly and helpful; the fresh croissant and baguette delivery was flawless; the pool was well maintained as were the toilet and shower blocks.
warmer pool? A few more trees
dry, warm, easy to access

A beautiful location. This was our second time camping at this clean, spacious and pretty campsite. Amazing memories were made again! So many reasons to stay here, here are a few: a local market on a Monday in Les Eyzies is fab, the on-site restaurant serving drinks and scrumptious food, a fresh daily collection of bread/croissants/pain au chocolat, pop-up local food trucks come to the campsite, clean facilities, lots of activities to do on site for free.
Lovely spacious pitch amongst trees for much needed shade - ideal for tying a washing line around too!

Lovely to have a relaxed cafe in the campsite to have breakfast and snacks in, the beers and wine were delicious and very friendly, helpful staff.
None!
We camped in a nice shady spot, tap and electric close by.

Friendly team, crosissant-service, pool, beautiful region, many opportunities for visits, canoeing, hikes, biking...
The sanitaries!!!
A spacy pitch with shadow in a beautiful suurounding.
The Sanitaries in the older building are not in a good shape. The showers didn't work at all. There was almost no warm water for dishwashing. Also the showers in the new building haven't enough water pressuer and they are sometimes nor warm enough.

The atmosphere of the site. Swimming pools and shady private pitches. Lovely bar overlooking pool and close proximity to the river and prehistoric sites and Les eyzies museum, make this a good family campsite. Great location for walks along the Vézère and for cycling.
Toilets were sometimes locked which was frustrating at busy times. Also no access to mother and child toilet.
Private and shady pitch. Very spacious and plenty of room for children to play ball games etc. 2 good play areas for children and a football pitch as well as badminton and table tennis.
Press buttons in showers didn’t stay on for long enough.

We loved the friendly, safe ambience. The site is very child friendly with lovely play area. The pool is delightful but chilly! The site OSS located perfectly for visiting the attractions along the Vezere river and only a short drive to the Dordogne River and the lovely villages along that river.
We found access to pitch 46 with a caravan in tow via the route behind the farm house, post the pool very tricky. It would be easier to be directed just beyond the pétanque pitch and round the circular road to the pitch.
We loved the marked out pitch defining our own space and shade. The easy route to the river was great.
Nothing, we liked everything

Great site, friendly staff and everything needed for a relaxong stay. Loved the pool and table tennis, nice food at the bar and fresh bread/pastries available in the mornings. So much to see in the area, including the village of Les Eyzies, kayaking and access to the river all within a short walk.
Enough space for family of four, clean, with kitchen for cooking, bedding available to hire and sun loungers.
It might have been useful to provide tea towels and sponges etc for washing up, and as in previous reviews we saw, the pillows are very hard. Nothing that spoiled the stay though.

Your campsite is beautifully maintained. The pitches are big allowing for lots of personal space. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is excellent and the pool area is perfectly kept. The addition of solar is great to see.
The golf course woukd benefit from painting.
We had our own tent.

Nice surrounding with old buildings, donkeys, great service at the bar, changing food options from day to day
New bathrooms but at peak hours waiting was required , we asked for a late check out, were told we had to leave at 12 noon sharp so we parked the van on the parking lot - when we finally departed at 4pm our pit was still empty
Spacious pit with shadow from trees
Quite noisy neighbors, although official bbq areas are available some other guests started their bbq on their pit - and every one else was suffering from smoke and smell

Beautiful camping in a nice area. Usually quiet. Kind owners!
Chemical toilet is right next to the showers, toilets and laundry area. That means it usually smells there.
It is a sizable even field which is mostly lined with bushes for privacy

Everything: the location, the studio flat, the staff, the snack bar, the pool, the amenities, the food…
Install an air extractor in the bathroom to prevent humidity and moulding. It was very clean but the smell coming from the pipes and dampness was a little uncomfortable after a few days.
The bed as comfortable, I didn’t miss any kitchen appliances or ustensiles when I needed them. The place very very clean and cute. Overall very lovely.
Some of the kitchen ustensiles were a bit old. The bathroom curtain didn’t really do a good job with stopping the shower water from getting out onto the floor.

Beautiful campsite, shady enough for the hot summers, wonderful pool, amazing surroundings

Small friendly site with a lovely pool and restaurant bar. The pitch was private and nicely shaded with services close at hand. We stayed for almost a week and there was some form of entertainment happening every evening.
Heat the pool.
Secluded and shaded pitch. Big enough for a 9.5m motorhome, awning and all the gear that comes with us. Electrical and water supply is central to the 'cart wheel'layout so very handy to get to.
It wouldn't take much to provide fully serviced pitched with electricity, water and grey waste for larger motorhomes.

We had a great stay here. Everything was immaculate. The staff were all friendly & efficient. Location is great. Can’t fault it👍🏼
Showers were a bit on the cool side. The pool was “Refreshing “
Caravan on pitch, good Amperage.

Everything was great - beautiful grassy pitch, peaceful even though it was quite full (high season), excellent facilities, lovely pool and traditional games, very clean, well-organised but not regimented, friendly and helpful owners and staff, friendly and relaxed atmosphere throughout the campsite for families, couples and singles. The owners have thought about everything and take such care. It is very rare to find somewhere that is so good and yet so relaxed. Excellent access by foot to Les Eyzies, to the river for canoeing, easy access to all the caves and sights, good cycling. Top marks.
Nothing could be improved. It is perfect!
Lovely soft grass, hedges around to give privacy, sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon. At the edge of the site so very quiet and peaceful. Lots of birds to watch! Great stars at night. Perfect.
Nothing.

A 2 night stopover on our way South. Beautiful little campsite, very calm and friendly. Clean toilet block. Easy walk in to town. We had the pool to ourselves.
Everything is there. Awning area gives you lots of space.Huge bag of walnuts was a lovely touch.
Very very hot on the second night but that is not the fault of the campsite! ;)

Good sized, tree sheltered pitch , fully serviced. Lovely, kind, thoughtful staff. Very handy site for Les Eyzies , Sarlat and surroundings. Beautiful swimming pool.
Chemical waste toilet disposal could be put in a more convenient position.
Size of pitch was sheltered from the sun by trees, it was big enough for our large caravan and car, awning , drying area and seating area.

Very pleasant stay for a cycling holiday in the Dordogne. The swimming pool was very welcome. I liked my neighbours, including the two donkeys in the field nextdoor.
Excellent and comfortable accommodation, if you enjoy sleeping under canvas.

Friendly helpful staff, good size pitches clean sanitaries.
Shady large pitch with water and ehu
Grass a bit long but the ground was wet so I'm sure it's cut more often
