Camping La Rivière

The site was very relaxed with a very good pool, nice bar and well arranged pitches. Whilst it was very hot while we were there, the evening sun comes down behind the hill side allowing things to cool down in the evening so it was cool enough to sleep at night

Good shade on pitches. Clean facilities. Within easy walking distance to town and canoeing.

No restaurant on site.

The Pitch was huge and excellent shadow The swimming-pools were very well appreciated

Exceptionally (one night) a little noise of bad boys Not a lot of meals available at the snack

Liked the back access via the lake to the town. Really liked the look of the place. And liked how the washing machines was payable at the machines and didn’t have to go to the reception for Tokens.

Really could have done with more chairs and loungers around the pool. People had towels on them but actually never sat there once.

Good location near the river and town

Cleaning both toilet blocks at the same time and took nearly an hour at a busy time in the morning and was very inconvenient. You should clean one block, then the other, so that there are always toilets available.

The sight was small and very well run. There was entertainment most evenings.

Main pool was cold. Individual water supply to sites would be good.

Great welcome and excellent facilities. The environment on site and in the local area are both lovely. Pool area is clean and a decent size. Pitches are a nice size and there is some shade. Hedges between gave good privacy and encouraged wildlife.

Shower push button stayed on a frustratingly short amount of time.

A clean well run site with lots of games to enjoy

The pool is amazing and the buildings are beautiful. The pitch is large with electricity and water. We loved our stay here and can't wait to return
