Lovely mobile in a perfect pitch. As it was end of season the site was very peaceful & the pool area not busy 😎

The sea view & the kitchen area.
Some rusty hinges on cabinets, drawers difficult to open & close, needed a sharp knife. Nothing serious ☺️

The music was far too loud till 1pm you could still hear it. Bought a hamburger for €14 waited 50 minutes and to get it back to the van the bun was stale and crumbling had to bin it. Rip off. Never bought any more food on site. On boiling days there was no ice left for drinks from bar..not 5 star service at all. Pool closed due to seaweed? impersonal atmosphere too corporate and the main thing no shelter. You need trees or some form of shelter over the play area. No children wanting to hang out as no shade. Everyone can see and hear everyone business not at all private. Sorry we won’t back

Perfect location on the beach and 10/15 mins cycle into the town. Facilities were very clean and of a good standard.
Quite a lively site with lots of late teens sat out on their pitches until 2/3am but not Too much bother and far enough away to not hear them. Always. Long queue at reception with only one staff member.
Pitch was ok. Decent enough size. Electricity supply was good.
Awkward to get into with a large vehicle without encroaching on someone else’s pitch.

Seemed to be more 'resort', longer term stays in campervans. A bit loud when you're trying to sleep in a tent.

This campsite is a lovely spot to have a chilled time away from the stresses and strains of normal life. The campsite is situated right on the coast with superb walks in either direction. If you cycle it is a fantastic base for exploring the Vendee coastline. The campsite itself is a lovely quiet site with a nice pool and bar area. There is also a small shop, restaurant and takeaway on hand for your basic provisions. A supermarket is within 5 minutes drive and the resort of Le Sables D'Olonne is just over 10 minutes drive away. We have just returned from a 2 week break at the campsite.
I don't really think there is a lot to improve. As UK holidaymakers, we disagree with other reviewers demanding more English to be spoken. You are on holiday in France! Make an effort to learn some basic French!!

Very quiet when we visited with possibly 10 other vans and a handful of mobile homes occupied. The electricity was not working when we arrived however this was fixed later that evening. The staff in reception were very welcoming. The site is not located close to any shops within walking distance a Leclerc supermarket is a 5 minute drive. Bread and pastries can be ordered the night before. An easy drive into the town for shopping etc. Good access to the beach which is dog friendly and good pathways over the dunes or on designated walking area alongside the coastal road.
The campsite is exactly as described so no comments. The price per night reflects the private sanitary pitches.
During the bad weather it was great to have access to our own toilet, shower fridge and washing up area.
The pitch was not very well maintained compared to those pitches without private sanitary facilities. It was overgrown with weeds and not very pleasant to walk on or over. It was disappointing as we had paid extra for the private facilities and expected the pitch to be tidy. We ended up pulling up large weeds ourselves to pitch our awning and flooring and seating area.

Fantastic pitch & facilities. Great quality food from the snack bar. Friendly staff. Motorhome pitches very tranquil (early May visit). Stunning sunsets from West facing pitches & the beach which is minutes away.

Very close to the beach, great shower facilities, all very clean. Lovely swimming pool. Bouncy castle and park for the children was great. Laundry facilities good and efficient.
Service in the restaurant was not great. Long wait for our order, especially the dessert, no glasses brought for the wine, despite asking a few times - I had to go to the bar to ask for some myself. No cutlery brought with dessert and again didn't bring a spoon even when asked. Not much stock in the shop.
Pitch was quite small but fine for what we needed. Tent pegs went in easily unlike some other sites we had visited before.
