Camping La Source

Loved staying here, right on the lake, so great for getting the paddle board out. Beach is stoney so you do need swim shoes but the lake is amazing to swim in. The staff are super helpful and everywhere was kept clean. The pitches are a good size although dusty but that seems the norm in Provence. Would definitely return.

On the banks of Lac de Sainte Croix du Verdun, Camping La Source is a perfect position for lake users and exploring the gorge and surroundings. The facilities were great and the site kept clean and tidy. An on site snack bar for early evening is an added bonus as is the direct gated access to the town.

Would be ideal if the showers were consistently a little warmer.

Lovely staff (who changed our pitch without question when we arrived), lovely pitch. Sanitary block is excellent. Always clean, always plenty of space for everyone. Excellent location. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

We call this our little paradise. It’s a beautiful place.

Lovely camping, very well looked after and super friendly staff. The sanitaires were outstanding - among the best I’ve seen (and I’ve seen a lot!). Easy access to both the lake and the village.

The WiFi was terrible. I couldn’t get a connection at all.

I stayed at Camping La Source seven years ago and came back recently — it’s still fantastic. The views over Lac de Sainte‑Croix are as beautiful as ever, the pitches are well kept, and the whole site feels peaceful and welcoming. The facilities have improved a lot since my first visit, and the staff remain friendly and attentive. A perfect base for enjoying the lake and the Verdon area. Highly recommended.

We loved this site- a short walk to a small beach and water sports 300m away. Plenty of shade and privacy in most pitches. Showers and toilets were clean at all times and toilet paper provided. Direct access to the small village square at the top of the site via a private gate

A few pitches were very open with not much shade . Some pitches would be tricky to get into if your van is 7m or more.

An amazing location 1 minute from the lakeside. The campsite is nicely presented, the sanitary blocks are immaculate, there are great facilities including games, pizza place, snack bar, fridge hire, recycling etc.

Everything was perfect. Staff are beyond friendly, camp is very clean and very well maintained, very peaceful. We have had a lovely time there and would definitely recommend.

We have been coming here for over 10 years now and still feel the same excitement every year . Beautiful peaceful campsite positioned right on the stunning lake . Very Friendly and helpful hosts . Facilities are always spotlessly clean . Village at the top of the campsite with amenities , bakery, butchers, local shop and restaurants . Direct access to the beautiful lake and beautiful towns a short drive away . Wondeful destination
