Camping de la Moselle

This is our third time staying on this campsite sitting right on the mighty moselle river. A most beautiful setting with walks,cycle rides etc.The staff here were very helpful i believe they have been drafted in from the Mauritius islands,extremely friendly and cooking their own food in the evenings which we found delicious. The surrounding area is clean and everywhere just seemed manicured and well kept. We will be spending more time around the surrounding area in the future rather than driving endless miles,it has all we need.Brushing up on my french of course and not feeling ignorant

Choosing our own pitch, location of river and cycling path adjacent.

Heat the pool, clean sunbeds next to pool area. Showers were dirty, cobwebs everywhere and peephole present in unisex. No squeegee present to clean the shower either. Restaurant food was poor quality for the price, staff were not accommodating in any request outside of the norm. Lack of availability for certain food types.

The location was absolutely stunning. Direct access to safe walking and cycling along the Moselle. Great size and level pitches.

The sanitation blocks were not particularly clean. The lady in the reception area the next morning was extremely rude and unhelpful. Perhaps someone should explain to her about working in the hospitality industry. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Site location is in a lovely location, friendly service and fantastic pool onsite, the highlight for my daughter. Toilets and showers are good and clean.

Maybe review the access to allow for twin-axles at the booking stage. I asked in advance if it was ok and you said depends on the weather, but at your site you can access the pitches easily from either sides of the gravel road so a heavy caravan like mine will do no less damage to the grass than a single axle. I never damaged the grass with my caravan so I think the ban on double axle rules is not necessary. 6amp electric, maybe look to upgrade this in the future to 13 or 16A. Explain the exit route north towards Metz better on the email as we got lost following your directions.

The location is fantastic and although the campsite was very busy it was also quiet in the evening. No loud music. The restaurant was great with a few Mauritian dishes on offer and the staff were lovely. Would have stayed longer if time allowed.

The pitches are generously sized and you can pick your own, the sanitaire block is clean, the resto has a decent selection of meals. Reception is very friendly.

Stopped to celebrate my sisters 64th birthday

Showers quite dirty with lots of people using them. Very easy going quiet site.

The surroundings, the restaurant serves really good food. Waste sorting

check in seems chaotic and you have to find a seat yourself, which was difficult. Restaurant forgot our booking both nights

Nice welcome and happy friendly reception staff. Good level spacious grass pitch. We were able to choose where we wanted to go. Clean sanitary block with hot showers. Good train connection for Nancy and cycling routes from site. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but seemed popular as it was busy every evening. Majority of campers appeared to stay for one night only - “ en route”

Adjacent to the pool area could benefit from more chairs / recliners / umbrellas. They were v limited and had seen better days.

Well laid out and good sized pitches. Quiet stay a few steps through a lovely park to walk along the Moselle or into town. Excellent facilities.
