Camping Du Colombier

The welcome, facilities and bar were all very good. High standard of cleaning and decent pitches.

We got a very friendly welcome at the reception, also the owners were patient with our poor French. The camping site is a calm place, has a nice pool, and everything is clean. The food at the snack bar was excellent, we and our kids loved it. We can definitely recommend it for an overnight stop while traveling or for a few days to explore the vulcan area and the City.

The pitch, quietness, privacy.

Check in instructions- none given. We were not advised about pool opening, shower block, play areas, Wi-Fi or bbq.

Had a very relaxing 4 night stay on way to provence. Decided to return on our way back up. Site clean and tidy. Owners are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Has a pool and also a snack bar if needed, also do takeaways. Great access to the motorway so some were using it as a 1 or 2 night stopover, others for longer stays. If we were down this way again would definitely revisit.

Lovely site with a small but perfectly formed swimming pool. Friendly managers and great facilities . The area is amazing really recommend.

A clearer path to the pool would be great as people were often cutting across random pitches to get to it.

Very warm welcome from the owners. Restaurant is lovely. Lovely quiet site with lots of birds to watch. Would recommend the site to everyone who reads this post. We will be back next year.

Sanitaires are a bit dated and no loo paper! Also the French penchant for Budgie smugglers is rigidly enforced.

Peaceful, spacious, good sanitaires and restaurant onsite. Friendly helpful staff.

Clothes drier needed. Lights in sanitaires turn off much too quickly at night. Access to the grey water grill would be tricky if site was full.

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the site. Quiet, with good facilities and excellent, helpful hosts.

The welcome was friendly and informative. The facilities were super clean, showers great. The home cooked evening meal was really good quality and great value. All round a really great well run site.

We spent two nights here enroute from Normandy to Provence. It was a perfect rest stop, very quiet. Staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. The restaurant served something my wife who is a vegan could eat. Local wine was excellent.

The setting was peaceful and location perfect for exploring the area for a few days. Facilities great and owners very friendly.

Please do change the layout of the toilets and showers. Quite embarrassing coming out of toilet and facing a man at a urinal.

A nice, quiet location. Close to CF, but feels like the middle of nowhere. Great spot to discover the volcano area. Very friendly owners. Good food, good swimming pool. Nice pitch between the trees.

More trees could be planted on one of the two fields. The second is nice and shady, the first looks barren. Sanitary buildings could be updated, but are clean with good hot water.
