Camping LE VIEUX BERGER

We had a lovely stay there, beautiful views and nice pitches with some shade. Very convenient location for Lourdes, and while we were not able to use it because we have a dog, the shuttle into town is a very thoughtful touch. Good services, friendly welcome.

Check in process could be smoother and more efficient. We had booked on the day and received an email to say booking was pending and money would not be taken until it was confirmed. As the money had gone from my account I presumed our booking was confirmed, however when we arrived there it wasn't. All sorted though and we were given a pitch.

Nothing was to much trouble. The lady who owns the site was amazing (sorry I forgot to ask her name) a great explanation of the area & for a small fee a shuttle bus to take you in & out of town if you dont fancy the walk. Fresh bread & coisonts can be ordered every day.

Maybe more hook up points.

Great location only a ten minutes walk to the town centre..Spacious grass pitches with electric hook up and beautiful mountain views. The showers and toilets were spotlessly clean. The best thing about the site is how friendly and helpful Elizabeth the owner and Florien who works there are to everyone. They even dropped us to the centre of town .We booked one night but stayed two and would definitely stay here again.

What a great site, the new owner Elisabeth was fabulous and went out her way to make our stay memorable. All amenities were spot on and clean. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

We have always stayed at le Vieux Berger when we travel to Lourdes in our campervan but this trip was disturbed by noise made from a small section of people staying at the site. They played very very loud music until 2am in the morning. No one from the management was about to tell them to stop . We left the site a day early because of this.

Management of site need to be present 24/7 to control this sort of behaviour

Great location for Lourdes, easily walkable in about 10-15 mins. Grass was overgrown (possibly because it was out of season, not a big deal) and water was very cold (did get hot on day we left though) Receptionist was really nice at check in They also have a stop over area where you can just pull in & pay for overnight stays etc but you don’t get access to toilets with that option There is a train line close by but living in London I hardly heard it Lovely view of mountains etc Would stay again

My only problem was the hot water although we didn’t complain so wouldn’t know if it would’ve been rectified (I’m sure it would’ve been)

Pitch was excellent.

Sanitary facilities not cleaned over two day stay. Reception opening times were erratic. No shuttle as advertised.

- Accueil sympathique - Sanitaire très propre - Le petit plus la navette très apprécier a prix intéressant - Véro du camping très sympa avec de bonne adresses restaurants et garagistes si besoin - Très calme

- Manque des lumières dans les 3 allées du camping - Attention à prendre les calles car terrain en pente

Merci Élisabeth de m avoir acceuillie en tant que saisonnier, j ai passez 3 mois au calme, Le site est magnifique et très bien entretenue. Sanitaire tres propre et souvent nettoyer. Proche du centre ville.

Vraiment nous sommes enchantés par ce séjour au camping le vieux berger: Nous avons beaucoup apprécié : l’accueil, la gentillesse de tout le personnel, la propreté plus que parfaite, des sanitaires et de toutes les installations, tout au long de la journée, malgré le nombre important d.occupants. (Venue du Pape à Lourdes) Et bien sûr une vue imprenable sur la chaîne des Pyrénées, et le Pic de midi de Bigorre. Vraiment une adresse à retenir.

Der freundliche Empfang und die Betreiberin, die sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht ist. Der, nach Absprache, mögliche Shuttleservice. Wir wurden zur Lichterprozession gebracht und um 22:15 Uhr wieder abgeholt. Einfach toll.

Die Beleuchtung nachts auf dem Camping könnte etwas besser sein.

L accueil et l attention de la responsable qui fait tout pour satisfaire sa clientèle ! Sanitaire pas grand mais très bien entretenu..

Camping à recommander fortement : Emplacement spacieux, sanitaires toujours très propres, accueillis avec gentillesse, possibilité de se rendre à pied dans le centre ville, les sanctuaires ou les grandes surfaces alimentaires, calme. C'est un camping familial comme on les aime.

Accueil chaleureux. Propriétaire très à l'écoute, disponible qui s'est proposée de nous conduire en navette au Sanctuaire, merci beaucoup Camping très propre Pas de mobil home et c'est très appréciable, un camping " plein air" avec des emplacements spacieux au niveau du camping En grande partie arboré, très agréable par temps chaud

Les espaces pourraient peut-être être limités par des haies pour que ce soit un peu plus " intimes" car rien ne différencie l'espace camping car de l'espace camping si ce n'est la superficie et le prix bien sûr Ne pourrait il pas y avoir un arrêt de bus car le camping est un peu loin du Sanctuaire et la route est très passante, voire dangereuse ?

Excellent, Accueil parfait, Propriétaire attentionné.Je reviendrai dans ce camping.

Super camping bien placé Calme super propre Personnel hyper dévoué et prévenant À l'écoute et aux petits soins pour ses clients (préparation de panier repas par exemple pour la venue du Pape) Grand espace pour s'installer, plan donc nickel en tente
