Camping LE VIEUX BERGER

Great location only a ten minutes walk to the town centre..Spacious grass pitches with electric hook up and beautiful mountain views. The showers and toilets were spotlessly clean. The best thing about the site is how friendly and helpful Elizabeth the owner and Florien who works there are to everyone. They even dropped us to the centre of town .We booked one night but stayed two and would definitely stay here again.

What a great site, the new owner Elisabeth was fabulous and went out her way to make our stay memorable. All amenities were spot on and clean. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

We have always stayed at le Vieux Berger when we travel to Lourdes in our campervan but this trip was disturbed by noise made from a small section of people staying at the site. They played very very loud music until 2am in the morning. No one from the management was about to tell them to stop . We left the site a day early because of this.

Management of site need to be present 24/7 to control this sort of behaviour

Great location for Lourdes, easily walkable in about 10-15 mins. Grass was overgrown (possibly because it was out of season, not a big deal) and water was very cold (did get hot on day we left though) Receptionist was really nice at check in They also have a stop over area where you can just pull in & pay for overnight stays etc but you don’t get access to toilets with that option There is a train line close by but living in London I hardly heard it Lovely view of mountains etc Would stay again

My only problem was the hot water although we didn’t complain so wouldn’t know if it would’ve been rectified (I’m sure it would’ve been)

Pitch was excellent.

Sanitary facilities not cleaned over two day stay. Reception opening times were erratic. No shuttle as advertised.

Een spontane eigenaresse die vloeiend Duits spreekt wat erg prettig is! Makkelijk te bereiken, veel informatie en tips hebben we gekregen, we voelden ons erg welkom!!

Een persoonlijke ontvangst op deze overzichtelijke camping met gerenoveerd sanitair. De eigenaresse brengt en haalt je naar/van het centrum met een busje. Kan ook prima met de fiets.

Wir waren mit unserem Wohnmobil über Spanien, Gibraltar und Portugal auf der Heimfahrt und Lourdes lag mit auf dem Weg. Wir haben die Pilgerstätte besucht. Bei der Suche nach einem Stellplatz ist uns dann der Campingplatz Le Vieux Berger aufgefallen. Die Besitzerin spricht unter anderem sehr gut deutsch und hat sich sehr liebevoll um jeden Gast gekümmert. Sie bietet preiswert einen Bringe- und Holdienst für Fahrten zur Pilgerstätte an. Den Platz können wir mit ruhigem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Uns hat er sehr gut gefallen. Unserem Hund übrigens auch.

We voelden ons welkom. Eigenaresse spreekt Engels en Duits. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Campintaxi naar lichtprocessie. Mooie plekken

Accueil très chaleureux. Bel emplacement pour van et camping car. La personne qui nous reçoit déploie tous ses talents pour un séjour agréable et intéressant. Je recommande vivement.

Très bon accueil de très bons conseils pour visiter Lourdes sanitaire très propre, je recommande ce camping qui est au calme

Nous avons passé une nuit au camping à deux couples, et notre expérience a été largement embellie grâce à sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. Élisabeth a été adorable du début à la fin : alors que nous avions du mal à trouver notre chemin, elle n’a pas hésité à venir nous rejoindre sur la route pour nous ramener au camping. Elle nous a également donné d’excellents conseils pour profiter pleinement de notre soirée et explorer les alentours. Très bon rapport qualité

Tout est parfait, l'accueil de la gérante qui se met à disposition des camping-caristes et des campeurs pour les informer des activités et des sites, elle organise une navette en centre ville y compris pour emmener les résidents à la procession.. Les sanitaires ok, les emplacements sur sol stabilisé. Nous étions venus en novembre 2025 et nous sommes revenus en mai sans hésiter. On y vient, on s'en souvient et on y revient comme on dit en Vendée

L'accueil est chaleureux, l'aire est très bien entretenue. Elisabeth propose une navette pour la procession du soir. Accès à pied pratique jusqu'au sanctuaire. Nous recommandons vivement.
