Nothing was to much trouble. The lady who owns the site was amazing (sorry I forgot to ask her name) a great explanation of the area & for a small fee a shuttle bus to take you in & out of town if you dont fancy the walk. Fresh bread & coisonts can be ordered every day.
Maybe more hook up points.

Great location only a ten minutes walk to the town centre..Spacious grass pitches with electric hook up and beautiful mountain views. The showers and toilets were spotlessly clean. The best thing about the site is how friendly and helpful Elizabeth the owner and Florien who works there are to everyone. They even dropped us to the centre of town .We booked one night but stayed two and would definitely stay here again.

The site had everything that you needed and all the facilities were very clean. The location to the city Center was excellent. The owner was amazing and very passionate about the site. Taking her guests to the procession and picking the up later was amazing. I would use this site again and highly recommend it.

What a great site, the new owner Elisabeth was fabulous and went out her way to make our stay memorable. All amenities were spot on and clean. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

We have always stayed at le Vieux Berger when we travel to Lourdes in our campervan but this trip was disturbed by noise made from a small section of people staying at the site. They played very very loud music until 2am in the morning. No one from the management was about to tell them to stop . We left the site a day early because of this.
Management of site need to be present 24/7 to control this sort of behaviour

Depuis la fin 2025,la petite fille du créateur du camping a repris la direction de ce camping familial. La nouvelle équipe est particulièrement attentive à l'accueil et à la tranquillité des lieux.. Great location for Lourdes, easily walkable in about 10-15 mins. Grass was overgrown (possibly because it was out of season, not a big deal) and water was very cold (did get hot on day we left though) Receptionist was really nice at check in They also have a stop over area where you can just pull in & pay for overnight stays etc but you don’t get access to toilets with that option There is a train line close by but living in London I hardly heard it Lovely view of mountains etc Would stay again
My only problem was the hot water although we didn’t complain so wouldn’t know if it would’ve been rectified (I’m sure it would’ve been)
The pitch was overgrown but that was possibly due to being out of season

Groupe d'amis d'une dizaine de personnes, nous avons passé 3 jours au camping le Vieux Berger. Le camping est idéalement situé pour visiter la ville de Lourdes et pour rayonner dans toute la vallée. Amis de la nature, amateurs de verdure et de calme, ce camping est fait pour vous ! Outre l'accueil et la disponibilité exceptionnelle d'Elisabeth, nous avons grandement appréciés les emplacements très ombragés (de beaux tilleuls à maturité, donnant beaucoup d'ombre, très appréciable en plein été !), le calme des lieux et la propreté des sanitaires, refaits à neuf. Super séjour!

Très agréable séjour dans ce camping. L’emplacement est calme. La vue sur la chaîne montagneuse est tout simplement magnifique et l’ambiance reposante.

Elisabeth hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen; wir haben einen sehr großen und schattigen Platz ausgesucht. Die Sanitäranlagen waren sehr sauber. Wir haben 2 ruhige und entspannte Tage und Nächte verbracht.

Eigenaresse is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Erg grote staanplaats wat een gevoel van vrijheid geeft.
Toiletgebouw is wat verouderd maar wel netjes en wordt goed schoon gehouden.

Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in Lourdes und den Pyrenäen. Wurden hervorragend beraten und bekamen Hilfe bei der Buchung von Aktivitäten (Paddeln, Canyoning, Restaurantbesuch...). Platzausstattung sehr zweckmäßig.

Einfacher, sehr schöner Camping in sehr guter Lage. Netter Empfang sowie sehr saubere sanitäre Anlagen. Wir sind gleich zwei Nächte geblieben.

Der schöne, grüne Stellplatz nahe der Stadt. Vor allem aber supernette Besitzerin, die ihre Gäste abends kostenlos zur Lichterprozession fährt.
