Camping LE VIEUX BERGER

We had a lovely stay there, beautiful views and nice pitches with some shade. Very convenient location for Lourdes, and while we were not able to use it because we have a dog, the shuttle into town is a very thoughtful touch. Good services, friendly welcome.

Check in process could be smoother and more efficient. We had booked on the day and received an email to say booking was pending and money would not be taken until it was confirmed. As the money had gone from my account I presumed our booking was confirmed, however when we arrived there it wasn't. All sorted though and we were given a pitch.

Nothing was to much trouble. The lady who owns the site was amazing (sorry I forgot to ask her name) a great explanation of the area & for a small fee a shuttle bus to take you in & out of town if you dont fancy the walk. Fresh bread & coisonts can be ordered every day.

Maybe more hook up points.

Great location only a ten minutes walk to the town centre..Spacious grass pitches with electric hook up and beautiful mountain views. The showers and toilets were spotlessly clean. The best thing about the site is how friendly and helpful Elizabeth the owner and Florien who works there are to everyone. They even dropped us to the centre of town .We booked one night but stayed two and would definitely stay here again.

What a great site, the new owner Elisabeth was fabulous and went out her way to make our stay memorable. All amenities were spot on and clean. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

We have always stayed at le Vieux Berger when we travel to Lourdes in our campervan but this trip was disturbed by noise made from a small section of people staying at the site. They played very very loud music until 2am in the morning. No one from the management was about to tell them to stop . We left the site a day early because of this.

Management of site need to be present 24/7 to control this sort of behaviour

Great location for Lourdes, easily walkable in about 10-15 mins. Grass was overgrown (possibly because it was out of season, not a big deal) and water was very cold (did get hot on day we left though) Receptionist was really nice at check in They also have a stop over area where you can just pull in & pay for overnight stays etc but you don’t get access to toilets with that option There is a train line close by but living in London I hardly heard it Lovely view of mountains etc Would stay again

My only problem was the hot water although we didn’t complain so wouldn’t know if it would’ve been rectified (I’m sure it would’ve been)

Pitch was excellent.

Sanitary facilities not cleaned over two day stay. Reception opening times were erratic. No shuttle as advertised.

Nachdem wir herzlich empfangen wurden, haben wir noch wertvolle Informationen zu der Umgebung bekommen. Unsere Gastgeberin hat uns mit ihrem Shuttlebus sogar nach 22:00 Uhr wieder aus dem Ort abgeholt und gegen kleines Geld zum Campingplatz gebracht. Selbst einen Wäscheständer hat sie uns angeboten und mehr noch. Im unserer App waren keine Angaben zu Waschmaschineund Trockner. Es gibt beides. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt und können diesen- auch sauberen - Campingplatz nur von Herzen empfehlen. ALLES Liebe und vielen Dank.

L accueil souriant de la gérante, au petit soin auprès de ses campeurs pour des vraies vacances à Lourdes Camping familial,au calme avec un esprit sympathique entre campeurs Sanitaire très propre et fonctionnel Tout est accessible à pied,magasins,centre ville,sanctuaire,, Le TOP Petit mot pour la gérante souriante, dynamique,attentionnée et très professionnelle

Die Stellplätze sind sehr groß und sehr sauber. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr gut gepflegt und sehr sehr sauber. Dieses ist nicht überall in Frankreich so. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wem der Weg zum Heiligtum zu weit ist kann auch vom Platz aus gefahren werden .

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au camping.Tres agréable avec une vue sur les montagnes.L'accueil est très chaleureux et professionnel.La gérante est de très bon conseil sur les activités à découvrir dans la région.Elle connais très bien le territoire.D'ailleurs nous avons profité d'une très belle randonnée.Dans le camping, l'ambiance est très calme et conviviale.Les sanitaires sont très propres.Je recommande ce merveilleux camping et j'en parlerai à mon frère car il y a des emplacements de camping car. Disponibilità soprattutto per servizio navetta al centro di Lourdes

Tout a été très claire et c’est bien passé à notre arrivé comme à notre départs. La vue sur les alpes était magnifique, les sanitaires sont bien entretenu, l’ambiance des campeurs est à l’image de la réception , très très très bien . Merci beaucoup

The campsite is very well-located and the parcels are really spacious. Even though it's close to the main road, within the site it's really calm. Also, it's only a 30 minute walk away from the centre of Lourdes. The sanitaries are very well maintained, however be sure to bring your own soap and toilet paper. The lady who runs the campsite is really nice, lovely and extremely helpful. We encountered some issues during our stay, but she stepped right in to help solve them, so really chapeau for her commitment and hard work.

De eigenaresse is uiterst vriendelijk en doet er alles aan om het naar je zin te maken. Goede shuttlebus naar het centrum en de sanctuary. Aanrader boor wie een camping zoekt dicht bij Lourdes.

Sanitairgebouw splitsen in dames en heren gedeelte. Dames vinden het over het algemeen niet fijn en willen privacy.

Un accueil chaleureux et un grand camping au cadre verdoyant et des sanitaires très propres. Je recommande vivement. Merci

Accueil chaleureux, gérante a l'écoute. Elle nous a attendu lors de notre arrivée plutôt tardive. Prix très attractif. Sanitaire et camping très bien entretenu et propre. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Éventuellement du papier toilette dans les WC.
