Beautiful campsite, very well maintained! Wonderful views and great location. Nice pool, great food at the restaurant!
We were disappointed that they closed the kids pool during our stay. That pool was one of the reasons for us to choose this campsite and the website does not state that it will be closed from September on. Then the adults only pool got closed too, and therefore we felt like our kids were bothering others swimming in the normal pool, because there were a lot of adults who wanted to go to the adults only pool and didn’t seem to appreciate the kids playing in the water. The pool could have more options for shadowed sunbeds. Bummer the bouncy jumpcastle was off/cleaned up already too.
The mobile home was great: very clean and nicely situated. Equipment was sufficient, we really enjoyed the terrace and the view.
We really missed mosquito nets in front of the windows and doors. In the forest there’s a lot of bugs and especially in this heat you want to be able to open a window at night. Plastic kids plates/bowls would be nice. Mattress cover was too small to cover the double bed mattress so we partially laid on the plastic mattress, which was hot and uncomfortable. Ladies at the restaurant seemed very busy running around looking stressed out. Not many smiles from them… Maybe have extra help on busy nights for the waitresses?

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Bakery available each morning and on-site Restaurant good. Clean and well organised site.
It would be helpful if the route to Lourdes Shrine could have direction signs to clearly mark out the route ti the shrine. It was not easy to follow the map.

We found the staff very helpful. English was spoken to a high standard. The restaurant was small but the quality of food was very good. (Advisable to book a table). The pitch was sufficiently large to enable awning etc, and was shaded which was nice given the hot weather. Access to Lourdes was helped by a regular shuttle bus. It is possible to walk into Lourdes, but up hill on the return.

Handwashing liquide at the toilettes was often empty. Provide outdoor games for renting. Send infos not to drive through the city.

Had an amazing stay in the tree house. It had everything you needed for an amazing break.. Our two boys (11&7) had a great time in the pool and the play park.

We stayed for 6 nights and were able to visit many places within an hour's drive. If you don't mind the incline from the site to the Sanctuary of Lourdes, it is a reasonable walk. We were stationed in our motorhome but managed to rent a car from the aiport which is 15 minutes away.
Not sure about having to wear budgie smugglers to use the pool but them's the rules in France apparently.
Some of the plots are narrow, and one needs to park side on. However, if you have a privacy room it may not be wide enough to put up as the access roads are quite narrow.

We loved Camping La Foret! Everything was fabulous...the staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfasts (pain aux raisins, croissants and baguettes) were delicious, as were the rotisserie chickens and pizzas! The restaurant and communal areas are so beautiful, as are the grounds, and the pools are incredible. Everything was immaculate. Enchanting to see chickens, geese and a pig that likes to be tickled ranging freely. We came to visit Lourdes which was the perfect distance away - a lovely walk of 25 minutes (at our pace). A bus is also available. We will be back!! 😊
The only disappointing aspect was the bedsheets. We had paid for bedsheets but they were smelly and had not been ironed so it was a bit unpleasant to sleep in them. We might have just been unlucky but next time I will bring my own.
Well appointed accommodation. It was clean and had everything you needed. Felt private and I didn't feel overlooked as each cottage was a decent distance from the other cottages. Shower was powerful. A big bonus was the terrace overlooking the forest.
No I didn't dislike anything about Cottage Yama - I liked that the water from the taps and shower got really hot, but I would suggest you put stickers above the taps warning children to take care.

Fantastic campsite, spotlessly clean facilities and plenty of them. Spacious and shaded pitches. Lovely welcome and friendly staff. Short walk into Lourdes, 20 mins, to see the Grotto, bus for €1 back up to the site. Fabulous swimming pool area with plenty of shade. Nice Restaurant and bar area and takeaway available. Pastries and bread can be ordered. Best campsite we have stayed at in France over the last 4 weeks. Would definately return.

Calm and quiet campsite, all pitches were close to amenities. The layout of the pool area with 2 pools, jacuzzi and kiddie splash allowed the guests to have a peaceful space. I particularly liked the covered seating (wooden gazebo) at the top pool as I cannot sit in the sun. There was also a large covered space near the shop to sit in the shade while having refreshments. Husband enjoyed mountain biking and I was grateful for the €1 bus to Lourdes Sanctuary. Walk back from Lourdes took 25 minutes uphill
During off season, check and level the pitches e.g. fill in dips and channels. Our pitch had deep track ditches and it was only June
I liked the grapevines covering the dividing fences of the pitch and short walk to all amenities
Uneven pitch made it awkward for stable camp chairs and table, it would be a big problem if in a tent

Peaceful site, location is near enough to get into Lourdes, plus there is a bus service regularly. The forest around gives it a remote feeling The pool and area is lovly with views!

Booking online was easy, the site, while compact is easy to access even with a larger caravan. The facilities were clean and modern, and the staff super helpful.
