We needed a short break from our never ending renovation project, so this place, just one hour from where we live, seemed ideal. And it really was! The owners were very friendly and did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable. It was very cold on the first night but we were cosy in our little den because of all the extra blankets they gave us.
All the facilities were exactly as described. Very clean and practical. The beds were very comfortable. Going to sleep with the sound of the babbling river was so restful.

A warm welcome from the friendly and helpful owners. A beautiful sheltered site in the valley bottom, beside the pretty river. Modern, clean facilities building. Bread and pastries can be ordered for the next morning. Excellent walking and cycling. Friendly donkey is pleased to meet guests.

I was finding it difficult to level my camping-car on the emplacement, so they moved me to a more level location. Very helpful.

Beautiful location. Beautiful locality. Friendly and helpful owners. Entrance to the site from the village at first is a bit daunting but easily done. Site well kept and maintained but a little basic but more than acceptable. Ignore satnav directions and enter from La Fouillerie direction.
Being a caravan owner the refilling of water barrel from the taps is is not easy. The only place to empty the grey water container was, as far as I could see, to trundle to the camper van service point. The water points need to have drains at there bases and not just a tap on a wooden post in an awkward location. The chemical disposal place is inadequate. Small, needing to lift the full container and no method of adequately cleaning the drain or the container.
We had a lovely large pitch that was relatively secluded and shady.
The electric hook-up leaves a lot to be desired, basically a hole in the ground with a concrete slab for a lid and a connector on the end of an armoured cable.

Excellent small site. Super clean Showers, Toilets and dish washing area, cleaned daily by hard working staff. Pizzas, bread and the biggest Pains au Raisin ever (!), available on daily basis (remember to order in time), small bar and shop with basics. Beautiful countryside if you want to explore further, including walking and cycling straight from site and water sports in nearby Pont d'Ouilly.
Please don't change anything
Hedged camping area gave adequate privacy (more open pitches further down the site) with electric plug up if requested. Enough shade from surrounding trees if needed whilst enjoying sunny pitch from morning to early evening.
Nothing for me though some may find the walk to the toilet block a bit further than they would like (ask for a closer pitch).

Accueil très sympathique, camping très agréable et très bien entretenu. Avons passé une nuit lors de notre tour de la Suisse dans un Mobil home très confortable. Les plats préparés et le petit déjeuner sont au top! Bref si l'occasion se présente nous n'hésiterons pas à y faire une halte plus longue. Bravo et merci à l'équipe !
