Beautiful scenery, hiking trails and activities in the adjacent river. Excellent service by the owners and staff.

Our hosts were amazing, welcoming, open and super helpful, always with a smile and willing to make our stay great, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Clean and comfortable. We totally recommend it.

The locations was amazing. We sat by the river relaxing for a couple of days. The hosts were very friendly and gave good advice. Being able to order fresh criossants and baugettes for delivery each morning was a very nice touch and much appreciated

We had a small camper van. We had a flat pitch with easy access to electricity and all amenities.

the entire camp site was spacious and truly unique, most though we liked Claire and the team which went out of their way to accommodate our needs
all Pitches are spacious and in the middle of nature. You dont have that usual feeling of being cramped which you have at bigger camping grounds

The campsite is beautifully laid out. Claire and David who run the campsite are the kindest people, always available for questions or a quick chat, and well aware of everything there is to discover in the area. The restaurant offers a very simple menu, but with enough variation to make it feel like there is something to choose, even healthy options.
Some of the pitches are very close to each other, and the bathhouse can use a bit of an upgrade, but neither of these points managed to spoil any of our enthusiasm about Camping River.

Wij verbleven een paar nachtjes in september met ons tentje op deze camping, tot onze grote spijt moesten we wat eerder vertrekken vanwege de kou, maar we komen graag weer terug als het warmer is! De locatie van deze camping is top, ‘s nachts is de sterrenhemel goed zichtbaar, Claire en David zijn geweldige hosts en denken graag mee over activiteiten in de regio. Daarnaast voelden wij ons hier ook erg op ons gemak als queer stel. Een aanrader!
Wij hadden keuze uit verschillende ruime plekjes die allemaal nét anders waren, wat we leuk vonden, zo vonden we er gemakkelijk een die bij ons paste.

Une seule nuit passée sur emplacement pour l'Alpes Aventure Motofestival. Au coeur de la merveilleuse vallée de l'Ubaye, camping très propre proposant restaurant, petit déjeuner et une équipe ultra sympathique. Je recommande.

Prachtige kleine camping. Geweldig aardige uitbaters Claire en David, geven goede tips over de omgeving. Smorgens heerlijk brood. Leuke bar en restaurant. Alles aanwezig voor een heerlijke vakantie. Een aanrader.

Misschien een afdak ipv schaduwdoek zou geweldig zijn.

Wij stonden met de camper op een uitstekende campingplaats.

Heerlijke plek met voldoende beschutting tegen de directe zon. Aan een rivier gelegen, waar eerste nacht gewenning aan geluid nodig was. De verdere nachtrust was uitstekend. Lekker dagje aan het meer op 15 min rijden afstand, lunchen bij les copains in barcelonette op 15 min de andere kant op en ruime keuze aan wandeling en/of sportieve activiteiten. Prima keuze en afwisseling om 3 tot 4 weken niet te vervelen voor breed publiek.

Vriendelijke en bereidwillige hosts.alles was schoon en werkend. Fijn ook dat zonder kosten de stenen bbq gebruikt kon worden en tegen geringe kosten een wasje gedraaid kon worden. Eten op de camping in de avond en ochtend is goed verzorgd als je hier voor kiest. Aanbeveling zeker waard.
