Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoWe only stayed for 3 nights on our way back north to cross the channel but wished we had stayed longer. Brilliant location and very relaxing.
The pitch was bare in places and could have done with more seed and grass, this meant that soil and sand were brought into the motorhome !

What stood out the most was the staff: they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The campsite is very well located, clean, easy to find and the biggest advantage is that it has direct access to the beach and the sea.

The perfect site to spend some time in beautiful Normandy. The beach is just superb at all times of day and perfect for dogs and their owners. We loved our early morning and sunset dog walks. The site is immaculately kept - everything is organised and spotlessly clean. Reception staff are all so friendly and welcoming and bread and pastries can be ordered. It is only 10 minutes walk along the beach to the resort centre where there are lots of restaurants and cafes and a small supermarket. We loved this site! Our second visit and we have a 3rd booked!
We were given one of the smallest beachside pitched despite staying 4 nights.

Large plots that are secluded by hedges, 10 amp electricity, nice helpful Staff,nice walk to the pretty town along beach , if you go to Cabourg town by bus , be careful if Saturday bus irregular, get bus back called Merville Franceville CAMPING !! Cabourg is nice.

It was the perfect spot for a stay. Fantastic location, friendly helpful staff. I'm glad we chose a pitch with the extra facilities, which were spotless with the bonus of a fridge we we didn't expect. A short walk to the beach and easy access to the local sights
The only downside was that the pool and spa weren't open. But I fully understand it was at the start of the season

Convenience to supermarket - there was a small Intermarche within 15 minute walk that had everything we needed . Loved the direct access to the beautiful sandy beach from the campsite. Site very well kept, all neat and tidy and very helpful and friendly staff. Only a very short drive fromPegasus Bridge.
There were 2 toilet/shower blocks beside each other but they closed one which meant there were regular queues for the 4/5 toilets left available which wasn’t great given the site was still quite busy.

Close to the town and right on the beach. Van close to the electricity connection.
We paid more to choose our parcel to be closer to the beach and it was not good, actually very bad. The floor coverage of the parcel made of big and sharp rocks and beach sand is uncomfortable and dirty. There were also pieces of food on the floor. Toilets very far away.
Regular. Expensive compared to others than can provide same services or better.
Not worth it to pay to choose your parcel next to the beach. There is no sea-view parcels.

Tout d’abord, comme indiqué sur notre site internet et dans nos brochures, nos emplacements sont situés en bord de mer, avec un accès direct à la plage, mais pas de vue mer. Cette information est clairement précisée afin d’éviter toute confusion. Concernant le sol de votre emplacement, il est vrai que certains emplacements proches de la plage ont un sol mêlant sable et cailloux, caractéristiques naturelles de notre environnement côtier. N'hésitez pas à nous le signaler à votre arrivée : notre équipe est toujours disponible pour trouver une solution ou proposer un autre emplacement, selon les disponibilités. Pour les sanitaires, nous disposons de deux blocs sanitaires répartis à deux endroits stratégiques du camping, précisément pour limiter les distances. Si vous avez trouvé le vôtre trop éloigné, nous sommes navrés et aurions pu vous proposer une solution alternative. Enfin, nous tenons à souligner que notre camping offre plusieurs avantages qui sont loin d’être systématiques ailleurs : accès direct à la mer, piscine couverte et chauffée, et des services que nous nous efforçons d’améliorer constamment. Nous regrettons que vous ayez trouvé le rapport qualité/prix insatisfaisant, mais espérons tout de même que vous avez pu profiter du cadre exceptionnel et de la proximité immédiate avec la plage et la ville. Small pitches, very hard to get to some pitches, no possibility to eat inside at restaurant/bar, very confusing entrance at the gate (need to drive on the left side of the road)

Location right on the beach. OK for a very short stay. Hedging gives some privacy.
Pitches mostly very cramped and often with difficult access for caravans. Would look much smarter if hedging was cared for.

Unisex toilets and no toilet seats. ???? No hot water 2/4 mornings. This campsite needs some TLC/maintenance.

Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié notre emplacement privilégié en bord de plage ainsi que l’intimité apportée par les haies qui entourent les emplacements. Nous sommes en revanche sincèrement désolés d’apprendre que certains aspects n’ont pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes. Vos remarques concernant la taille des emplacements, l’accessibilité pour les caravanes, l’état des haies, ainsi que les sanitaires sont bien notées. Concernant les sanitaires, nous comprenons que l’absence ponctuelle d’eau chaude ait pu être inconfortable. Il s’agissait d’un problème technique indépendant de notre volonté, qui a été résolu dès que possible, et nous veillons à ce que cela ne se reproduise pas. Pour ce qui est des sièges de toilettes, notre choix s’inscrit dans une logique d’entretien et d’hygiène, mais nous comprenons que cela puisse surprendre. Chaque retour, même critique, nous aide à nous améliorer. L’entretien des haies fait d’ailleurs partie des priorités de notre prochain programme de travaux. Nous espérons avoir l’occasion de vous accueillir à nouveau dans de meilleures conditions et ainsi vous faire changer d’avis sur notre établissement. Cordialement, Lola

Access to the beach is good, pitches for caravans are cramped if you have an awning, though there were some larger pitches. Allocation of pitches should be based on size of your unit.
Bar area is poor and poorly staffed. Only took cash.
Too small fit a twin axle and awning. We had to leave car in car park. Turning onto pitch only possible if had a motor mover.

Excellent location. Pitches are small and we have a very small folding caravan. Direct access to the beach is good.also good for cycling
Please stops the music in the washing areas. It is repetitious and computerized music of the worst sort. Thanks
It worked fine although I get annoyed at paying the same for the little electric that we use compared to large motorhomes and caravans which have many electrical items. Could the electric not be metered according to usage.
