Great location on lac D'Orient, very clean, good facilities. Nice pitches.
More privacy on the pitches near footpaths.
Reception were very good allowing us to move from our oeoginal allocated pitch. The new pitch was spacious with sun and some shade.

This was a one night stop over on our journey South. Great facilities from onsite store; pools; wide range of childrens [& adult] outdoor games and cafe. The wash block had all you need. Would certainly consider a longer stay to explore the region in the future.
Qe had a caravan/motorhome pitch with fresh and waste water. Trees and bushes provide most pitches with boundaries and some privacy.
Access roadways quite narrow in places.

It was nice to have everything to yourself, shower, toilet, grill and fridge
Only annoying thing was when the sun was out the metal strip on the front would keep clicking. Also it would be good if people had to park with the hab door not facing your neighbour

The mobile home was nice and clean and well equipped. So was the shop and the pool area was well maintained
Our hot tub did not work for 24 hours and so made the expense not worth it. We came to reception twice to report it. The electrician said it was working and the alternative was to have a dirty hot tub - he was very rude. By the time he left, it was on and started working. We were also turned away from the bar despite there being plenty of empty tables as the bar man said they were full.

Regarding the hot tub, we regret the delay in resolving the issue as well as the lack of diplomacy from our technician. We are addressing this directly with our team to reinforce the importance of respectful communication at all times. As for the bar, table management takes into account overall kitchen and counter service capacity, though this should have been explained to you more clearly. We take your comments very seriously as we work to address these issues in our service and organization.

The staff are very helpful. We used the restaurant twice & enjoyed the great food & staff service. We got the pitch we had booked & overall enjoyed our 3 night stay.
Our pitch was closer to the new shower block. Went to use the male showers & there’s only 3. But 1 was locked & couldn’t be used so needed to wait a long time for one of the 2 showers to be available. Found the shower cubicle very small so wasn’t a great experience. So next time went to the other shower facilities & they are much better. The new block is badly designed & not very good.
Pitch was a good size.
Most of the pitches are not level. All it would take is a tractor to level each pitch & would make a big difference.

Second time we have stayed here and love the site and location. Love the facilities and the restaurant is excellent
Maybe put a little more gravel on some of the pitches as most were bone dry but puts had a big brown/clay puddle in the middle of it!
Hard standing pitch with elec water etc but to be honest wasn’t really very hard standing.

The staff in the bar and restaurant. Very rude. Abrupt and not accommodating. Felt very uncomfortable and not welcome.

Hello, We have checked in with our restaurant team regarding this matter. That evening, due to the rain, you moved indoors without checking with our staff first and took a table that was reserved for dinner service. As we were fully booked, we had no choice but to ask for the table to be cleared in order to seat the guests who had reservations. We regret that this situation and the way this constraint was handled displeased you, but we had no other alternative.

Great camp site, great amenities
Plots quite close together . We booked last minute and did not have swimming trunks for my husband and son so only I and my daughter could swim, that was a shame.
We loved our corner plot, close to toilets and not far to the pool etc.
Quite noisy in the evening from the entertainment but it did go all quiet by 11pm

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 5-week travel across Europe. It was one of the good ones for sure. Perfect for kids / families with plenty of them to do on site and with the lake/beach right outside the campsite. Would recommend and would return if we were doing a similar trip

The pitch sizes were great. The facilities were fantastic and very clean. The parks dotted around the site were great for the kids. The big park was also great. Food was delicious.
Staff in the restaurant were very rude and unhelpful! Couldn’t go in the pool as forgot tight shorts for my son. No hairdryers. No doors on kids showers

The location is very pleasant. Enjoyed swimming in the lake and cycling around the lake on well maintained cycle paths. The campsite is well organised and very well set up for families with children being particularly catered for. For those wishing a little peace and quiet I would suggest to avoid. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The on-site bar, restaurant and shop have everything you may need.
Urinals in the men’s toilets would cut down on the queuing.

Far too noisy with screaming children, no efforts made to reduce noise levels even after dark late at night. The whole stay was ruined by really noisy children all day on a play area really close to the pitch. Even in the evening at the restaurant it was so noisy with children running round and children’s entertainment and a foam party.

Only negative was the rubbish on our pitch - cigarette ends, plastics mesh and various other bits of discarded plastic, some quite large. Please check the pitches after departure
