Le Lac d'Orient

Great large campsite with good facilities on site, plus great access to the forest and Lac d'Orient

Shop is too small for the size of campsite and morning bakery collection chaotic and slow! Restaurant should stay open for food all day, not close in afternoon. Pool tarmac should be resurfaced, as it is very uncomfortable to walk around.

4th time of visiting. Great site.

Wir waren mehr als angenehm überrascht über diesen wunderbaren Campingplatz am Lac d‘ Orient. Der Empfang war herzlich und unkompliziert, die Stellflächen sehr großzügig gestaltet, die sanitären und öffentlichen Einrichtungen sehr sauber und alles was man benötigt für einen entspannten Urlaub. Wir kommen wieder und zwar länger.

Die hartnäckige Grille hat nachts alles gegeben 😉

Extremely friendly and helpful staff in the Reception, Restaurant and Shop.

Our first time in this area. Excellent site, great for families, so therefore activities going on, but they seemed to finish at a reasonable time. We enjoy bird watching and was able to see and hear a variety of birds without having to go away from site. Would definitely book again, especially if can stay in same location on site.

Adult only swim time before pool opens up to children.

Family friendly campsite with entertainment

Bar closed too early when trying to watch euros - asked to leave before game finished.

Well kept site with good facilities. All pitches had water and power and were well spaced apart. Great area for cycling if you are not wanting extreme challenges!

Can’t think of anything!

We liked the friendliness of the staff. The space between lodges was good. Nice little pool area and a couple of slides. Fresh baguettes were available to pre order each day. Location to make was great.

Some issues with cleanliness in lodge but was all sorted by friendly reception staff

Great pitch and wonderful campsite. This was our second visit and that we were back for a second time is testimony how much we love this site.

The ladies toilets were short on toilet paper at several points with some having no seats and others were fully locked indefinitely. I had to use the gents twice which was unfortunate, but they were in good condition.

Pretty much everything about the campsite was amazing.

Amazing shower facilities, nice pool, nice area for cycling

Staff could be friendlier, sitting in seats outside restaurant and we're asked to move. What is it about this rule and swim shorts? Hygiene?!!

Cleanliness and friendly

Campsite was clean and well run. We stayed in a mobile home which were well spaced out with plenty of room. Our daughter stayed at the same time in her motorhome and she has good sized plot with electric hookup. The bar was nice and facilities in general were good. Didn’t attend the entertainment but it was available. Superb lake with grass and beach area across road from campsite.

The shop on the site could be better stocked. Limited choice and no supplies to facilitate own cooking (meat). Bread and pastries need to be ordered day before (not a problem)

A well run site, clean & tidy with a mixture of pitches & types. Bread pre-order service very good. Pool(s) good. Staff all that we encountered were very good.

Quite remote, be prepared to travel. Shop contents limited. Restaurant bar…limited opening times.
