Good swimming pool, well stocked onsite shop, immaculate bathroom facilities.
Bit noisy after 10:30pm with music still playing

We liked everything about this place and how close it was to the lake. Toilets and washing facilities are of a high standard.

We were given pitch 100, possibly the worst pitch we have ever camped on, due to its outlook onto onto the washing machines/toilet block and the pathway for what felt like the whole campsite to walk by our pitch. As we didn’t arrive until late, we couldn’t ask to be moved, but after a long drive we were very disappointed

Our pitch was excellent. It was a good size, a mixture of sun and shade. It was in a quiet spot and we had privacy. The toilet block was nesrby.

We enjoyed our stay here and really liked the cycle/running routes along the lake. Didn’t try the swimming pool on-site but the showers/toilets were clean. Would recommend.

Clearer information re ability to fish at lake…only possible with a boat…very disappointing as booked specifically to fish at lake. Ran out of toilet paper in toilets twice! Also ran out of water in shop and had to go shop to buy

We stayed at camping Le Lac D'orient as a stop over from the U.K. It is about four hours from Calais so your journey can easily be broken up into small sections if you are travelling with your family. The Site is easy to find, The area around the site is lovely, we cycled around the lake which was easy and really beautiful and also used the beach opposite the entrance to the camp site. There are lots of Café and bars, but not enough to spoil the area. You can order fresh bread and bakeries from the camp site shop and they are a real treat.
Pitch drainage / maintenance. Our pitch flooded in a (heavy) rain storm, and the pitch could do with a bit of a make over. The hedges surrounding the pitch / grass area needed maintaining.
Our pitch was quite a generous size, we were able to park our campervan and pitch a 4 person air tent on it comfortably, It was a mixture of gravel and grass and the services were well placed i.e water, electric and waste water.
We arrived during a rain storm and the first pitch we were allocated was completely flooded, we were able to change to a different pitch, but unfortunately that also flooded following further rain and remained wet for the duration. Maybe some improvements could be made to the drainage.

We have stayed here a few times now as a stopover from Calais towards the Alps. Clean, well maintained and with everything you need. We will no doubt be back!

I liked the football pitch and the proximity to the nice lake. Bread in the morning was real tasty
We paid €41,- for WiFi which didn’t work most of the time. They need to improve that.
Nice and simple. The porch was nice. And the mattress was good!
Dish washer didn’t work properly and there is no airco.

We like the camping, it feels safe with a good atmosphere. We enjoyed our holidays a lot and are planning to come back again.
Our mobile home was not very clean when we arrived. I don't find handy the inventory on the table also.
It's a bit old, but comfortable. The bed mattress is fine too. We like the house and the location in the camping.
It was not very clean when we arrived. I find very unhandy to have all the glasses, bords, etc... on the table. Having to put them in place and back to the table again when you leave. You break them just by moving them around, and it shows a lack of trust on the client with that. Cause would I be charged if I break a glass?? I understand you have to keep an inventory, but this way?

One lifeguard for four pools did not seem adequate. At times there were a lot of children in the pools and no lifeguard to be seen.
Electricity etc was on pitch.
Pitches were small and unkempt. Not enough showers or toilets. Not enough washing machines!

El Bungalow es espacioso, cómodo y acogedor, con sitio suficiente fuera para dejar las bicis y el coche. La terraza invita a estar fuera con sus dos hamacas pese al mal tiempo. La amabilidad de los animadores y el hombre de recepción.
La animación no nos ha parecido atractiva. En el bingo había tanto ruido que nos fuimos porque requería un mayor esfuerzo entender los números con los preadolescentes que teníamos sentados en la mesa. El vaso de la piscina exterior es pequeña. Dejar las chancletas fuera en las baldas está bien, pero la organización no nos ha gustado, es decir, el tener que entrar y salir descalzos por los vestuarios hasta llegar al exterior estando el suelo mojado, poco higiénico. El guarda de seguridad no nos dejó entrar con el coche a las 22:00 cuando estaba en ese momento cerrando la verja.
El espacio interior y exterior del bungalow, la distribución y los muebles adecuados. Se nos fue la luz y el técnico vino inmediatamente a arreglarlo. Gracias!
