The aquapark was excellent and our family spent hours enjoying the slides and pools. The lifeguards were always attentive and professional, making it feel safe for children. The beach is beautiful, wide and only a short walk away. The nearby surf schools were also excellent, and the surrounding towns are well worth exploring. The restaurant served very good food, and despite some operational issues, the staff throughout the campsite were always friendly, polite and genuinely tried to help. The atmosphere during the World Cup final shown in the arena was fantastic.
The shower water was consistently too cold during the busy evening period, which shouldn't happen at a five-star campsite. The toilet, urinal and dishwashing areas had a persistent unpleasant smell and would benefit from more thorough cleaning. The bars were understaffed during busy events, resulting in long queues, and the warmer pool in the aquapark was unavailable on one day. The pitch assigned to us was what ruined the experience and not much was done about it.
The pitch was close to the excellent facilities, and the campsite is in a fantastic location with easy access to both the beach and nearby towns.
The standard pitch we were allocated was unsuitable for comfortable camping. It sloped steeply from one corner to the other, with a large tree further reducing the usable space. Our BBQ and table could never be level, things constantly slid across the table, and our children even tipped from their chairs because of the angle. We also couldn't fit both our canopy and our car on the pitch, so we had to park outside. Reception couldn't move us, although they did provide a €100 restaurant voucher, but our entire stay was negatively affected.

Right on the dunes at Messanges, perfect for sunsets. Excellent facilities-well kept and very clean. Although huge, wasn't overrun. Waterpark great for kids. Was upgraded to a vip pitch as booked one wasn't suitable. Done with no fuss. Great service especially to Emma who went above and beyond. Merci x
Only description as our 9m was too big for described pitch but was dealt with brilliantly
Upgraded to VIp which was great.

Local area
We paid extra for a premium lodge. Accommodation was dirty and poorly maintained. Awful experience at the on-site restaurant, La Brasserie du VP. The service and food were terrible. The restaurant staff were incredibly hostile. Our waiter became so angry that he actually dropped an entire full tray of drinks all over us.Reception handed us a complaints form but openly admitted to us that the form would never be acted on. We were so upset that we found another place to stay. This completely ruined our holiday. Absolutely do not stay here
nothing
Not 5 star standard! We paid extra for the Premium Lodge. Dirty and poorly maintained. No privacy. On top of each other.

We stayed here for a week in July with another family in the sleep 10 premium cottage. The campsite itself was great with everything you needed onsite and the kids had a great time!
Small word of warning if you’re thinking of staying here would be to bring plenty of mosquito repellent as we got loads of bites! Customer service at reception and at the bars and restaurants was poor and we found most of the staff quite unhelpful and rude at times!
The accommodation was great for our setup of 2 families who wanted to have their own space with a large communal area for socialising in.
The welcome pack was nowhere near big enough for our party size! We got 2 roll of toilet rolls for 10 people for a week with a very small pack of cleaning liquid and a washing up sponge so definitely bring extra supplies if you can! We also had to ask for extra glasses knives and a chopping board and this was not provided! A big downside was that on the last day there was nowhere to store our luggage as we were on a late flight home which was a big inconvenience and I think this is something everyone should be made aware of!!

The accommodation was very nice, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool and the sports facilities. The football pitch could have been maintained a little better, but overall the facilities were great. The beach was beautiful.
We really enjoyed our holiday overall, with the exception of two minor issues. It was quite difficult for us to book activities and excursions. At reception, we were told to make the reservations through the app, but the app didn't work for bookings, so we had to go back to reception anyway. Our mobile home was quite a long walk from the reception, so we often made unnecessary trips. 2. Caravan parked next to our mobile home On our last night, a caravan was parked directly behind our mobile home, practically right next to our bedroom. The people staying t
The accommodation was nice, clean, and well equipped. It was just the right size for four people, but I can't imagine it being comfortable for six.
It was good value for money.

Lovely location and beautiful towns close by. Super football field
The flies/ insects by the pool were horrendous. A gym would be big addition and more sunbeds. More fitness classes
Jacuzzi and modern mobile
Mobile was not clean when we arrived

Access to beach, quality of accommodation, pizza restaurant, nice staff
On the hottest day in French history, you made people leave the pool at 6pm, simply because it is not yet July. I know rules are important, but so is flexibility. I think it was ridiculous to close the pool so early during the heat wave. And to close it early another day for a private party.

Layout of campsite is terrible. Very confusing. Poor signage and very easy to get lost. Opening hours of restaurant too short. Very little shade around the pool area
Had my own caravan
Pretty much everything. I was very glad to leave.

Clean well maintained campsite nestled in woodlands in close proximity to a golden beach
Pitches very close together. No supervision or enforcement of noise during the quiet hours. Pool area extremely busy at weekends when numbers seem to treble in size. Queues forming hours before opening times on Saturday and Sundays. After queueing to get access, and having intended to spend the day at the pool, our property was moved by a lifeguard while we were eating lunch at the pool bar. When we returned our sun lounges were occupied by somebody else. No prior warning given that this was a pool policy. Five pools all very small and often crowded and uncomfortable
Modern and well equipped

Clean site / friendly reception/ amazing facilities/ beautiful flowers and impressive garden management here . I loved the trees/beach/surf/local area
Possibly a few more staff around to ask for help on the site, or reception maybe could offer to help you. Especially if you need help finding your accommodation for the first time would be appreciated.
Great place for relaxing and comfortable bed. Good layout and x2 tv was great to be able to watch in bed. Clean on arrival. Left it clean when we left .
Shame a few items missing- sheets/mugs for tea or coffee. (Not espresso small cups). Had x2 Toasters for some reason? And no spreading knives just steak-knives.

Didn’t enjoy at all have been to many camps in Spain and Italy and this one is poor
WiFi was a joke. Worked for 2 days then nothing no internet at all for 5 days. With 3 kids this was not good
Nice accommodation. But was led to believe there was direct access to beach. However locked gates and massive sanddune
WiFi , beach access
Hello Emer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your stay with us. We understand your disappointment regarding the internet connection. Following your report, we did indeed identify a malfunction in two Wi-Fi access points in your area and immediately restarted them, which restored the connection. We are doing everything we can to improve the quality of our network throughout the season without impacting the campground’s natural setting, which is a real daily challenge. We thank you for bringing this situation to our attention, allowing our teams to respond quickly. Regarding access to the beach, our 30-hectare pine forest does indeed offer direct access to the Atlantic coast. Crossing the dune is an integral part of this unspoiled Landes landscape that so captivates our guests. The RESASOL mobile app, available for free, now makes it easy to find your way around the entire property. We’re glad you enjoyed your Premium chalet. Our teams are here to help you plan your next stay and assist you in making choices that meet your expectations. We look forward to welcoming you back, Resasolement, The Camping Le Vieux Port Team

Excellent campsite with excellent facilities. Location is great and staff are very helpful.
The shop could do with an upgrade. Food is quite expensive for what you get in the restaurant. Would be nice to have nightly entertainment during June but understand its still off season
Stayed with Eurocamp, accommodation was excellent

The mobile home we rented (Cottage Suite PREMIUM - Jacuzzi® 8P 8 ppl.) was nice and clean. In case something was missing or there was a problem with the pool it was solved immediately by the friendly staff. The camp ground is really quiet, the pool area has a lot of attractions and the beach is just stunning.
Spacious and clean, nice whirlpool
There wasn't enough cutlery for eight people and there were no cups

Great facilities and staff
More entertainment in the evening. The quiz was great but the kids would have loved more things like this. Although understand that it’s very early in the season
