Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoIt was our first time staying in Le Vieux Port. It was a lovely resort - pine trees and bird song surrounded us. We enjoyed our Premium cabin and in particular the covered decking which was the full length of the cabin. The Eurocamp staff we meet Alyssa and Aaron were most helpful and friendly.
Our cabin was very comfortable supplied with coffee machine, kettle and toaster as well as a great gas four ringed hobs. The air conditioning was very good and effective, and the mosquito blind on the bedroom windows were terrific.
We had a large fridge in our cabin and not a lot of kitchen prep space - a smaller fridge might allow for more kitchen prep space. A pedal bin with three separate bins would be handy - and assist with the dividing of rubbish. The double bed in the larger bedroom, whilst being a good size meant there was very little space to walk around the bed/access the small wardrobe.

The pool area , everything was flat
Evening entertainment was repetitive. With the soly disco every night except for 1 that was a foam dance.
Simple had everything you needed
Toilet in the accommodation stank of urine

Parc in general was very clean and well maintained. Our cabin was a bit beat up as the blind was not working properly in the bedroom and lino was lifting in parts of it. Pools and food were top notch as were all the staff.
As the tempature increased guests should have been allowed to wear sliders around the pool deck. Nearly all of our party got blisters on the soles of our feet on one day. Also this information along with no loose swimwear should be sent to guests in advance of arrival
Run down
Needs a good update

Big site with lots to do, swimming complex was fab and short walk to an amazing beach.
More toilets and bins around. Should be a lot to eat and drink around pool. No entertainment every night in June was very disappointing
Good spot on forest
Sheets were very ripped and marked Not full set of plates not even enough for 4 people never mind 6. Lots of cutlery missing or broken. Major was having no oven very disappointed with that.

The pool area is fab The entertainment is very good Very clean and safe Kids loved the tennis and ping pong area
The bins are miles away, outside of the site.
We booked a comfort XL mobile with eurocamp
It was so basic. No hairdryer. Old. Not very clean inside.

We had a nice time but the site is very big and the main focus seems to be on customers in cabins, mobile homes and seasonal pitches. Facilities not great for touring caravans.
Better water supplies for touring caravan pitches. Chemical toilet disposal point does not have water tap for flushing so need to use drinking water supply to clean toilet, not good.
Toilets and showers were nice and were cleaned regularly
Location of rubbish disposal point was not convenient

Showers and toilets ok
Print a map on the back of hand out leaflet.
Decent size
Sand messy. Site massive, too commercial for us. Like Benidorm on steroids!

All round a great stay. Although the weather was mixed we had great fun using the facilities on site.
Have an option for indoor activities when wet or thunderstorm.
I liked the accommodation..
Was classed as a premium mobile home but didn’t know what was premium about it. No hairdryer even though it said it had one. Didn’t like that the sink wasn’t with the toilet. Not very hygienic that you had to walk across the mobile home to wash your hands by passing living area.

A fabulous place to holiday with your family. My wife and I travelled with nine member of our family. We had a great time and the children absolutely loved the place, especially the water park. A beautiful location set in the forest. We are already planning to return next year.
Too many restaurants only available in July and August.
The fact there was accommodation suitable for a wheelchair user. However I didn't see any others with a ramp, I hope there is more than one.
No options for different types of 'home'. No premium or bigger mobile-homes. The home is a way back from the central area. A lot of wheelchair pushing required. The ramp into the home, at the beginning needs repairing. The bed is too low making it very difficult to transfer.

We loved the campsite, the whole site is very clean. Our lodge was beautiful and comfy. The beach was amazing and so much fun on the park for kids. We hope to return next year

We absolutely loved our stay at Le Vieux Port. It was incredibly clean with great facilities/activities and friendly staff. My 6yr old son loved the pool and kids club. We loved the proximity to local villages and towns where you could find beautiful markets and excellent restaurants. There’s even a bakery within walking distance.
The on site shop was quite expensive and didn’t have a great range of fresh produce available. Also our accommodation was facing (porch to porch) and very close to our neighbours which was ok as they were lovely but wouldn’t have been great if they were loud and stayed up late.
The accommodation had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean on arrival. The porch was of a great size and we ate outside for every meal we had there.
For a premium pitch I was disappointed at how close it was to the neighbouring pitch and with very little space in between. Luckily we quickly made friends with our neighbours and were able to share a glass of wine or 2 over the hedge but this may put other people off. The accommodation was also very small inside so as a family of 3 staying here it was functional but I wouldn’t like to be a family of 6 staying there, especially if you were experiencing bad weather!

For almost 500 Euros per day, yes 500! staying in a Premium Dune lodge with jacuzzi with 2 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms, kitchen with tiny sofa, and aircon. VERY EXPENSIVE for what it was, especially when the facilities were so crowded that you couldn't get a sunbed by the pools or a meal in the on site restaurants. very poor customer service from management, 6 visits to reception and a day wasted trying to sort out the "guaranteed" wifi in our premium lodge.Manager refused to offer us any refund it was the spa voucher or nothing! He really couldn't care. Expensive food and drink on site
Looks like the management have tried to squeeze in as many lodges and camping spots as possible to maximise revenue but haven't upgraded the facilities accordingly. Guaranteed wifi in our premium lodge didn't work - the engineer told us it has never worked in that area while he worked on site becuase of the location and it needed a dedicated service. It shouldn't be listed as part of the inclusions if it has never worked. Manager told us that it was an added bonus, NO this was listed as included in our package, specifically for 4 devices.
Basically a small mobile home, clean but compact. to get into bed shuffling sideways was the option. Outside an area of decking with jacuzzi was pleasant plus a randomy placed seating area away from the property next to the road. It was less busy on our road being the park perimeter but surrounding us were tightly squeezed in lodges - so that our neighbour could eat their lunch and see me sitting on the toilet. View was of a fence, behind which was the sand dunes. Beach was great, but very crowded, Lifeguards were excellent as there was a strong current.
Premium doesn't mean premium, expectations not met, and poor customer service to follow. Very poor lighting around site and up to your property front door, No WIFI, Plastic style pillow cases, horrible, had to buy cotton ones from supermarket. Stay in a private Airbnb with your friends instead, and visit water parks and do trips out. Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed. Use the restaurants and bars by the lake - much better and a wider selection - only a short bike ride away. Family holiday time is too precious to waste here, We will never return.

If you want a big pool with all the big slides etc, entertainment and gym...this is for you. Its a very big campsite with all the attractions however we asked for a quieter area and had a lovely pitch fairly close to beach access. Gorgeous beach as one would expect in Hossegor. There are some beautiful static homes available to rent right on the beach view, which looked lovely. We'll run, helpful staff and clean facilities.
Big pitch

Accommodation was a long way away from bar etc. we requested a close one as I have bad knees and cannot walk far. reception were not helpful when ask a question and had no idea. Was told to find tourist information. Also didn’t know what was open or when the opening times were. Bar was closed and reception had no idea. It was Eurocamp reps were extremely helpful but the actual camp staff were not
Listen to what customers say and know the information We know it was end of season. There were many caravans empty near bar are but we were told no we cannot have one. All that was open was bar and pool. Surely as paying residents more should be open and supermarket (spar) should at least have basic goods like milk and bread
We were in a 3 bed caravan. We liked the dishwasher but not in place of an oven. Deck was good nice size
King size bed to big for room could not move around had to crawl onto bed. Caravan was infested with ants

Accommodation was good. Modern caravan. Lovely hot tub.
Big caravan , we had 4 adults and 2 children. Hot tub was good
Hot tub was noisy at night. Not just ours but we could hear all the ones in caravans around us turning on and off all night

Toilet and bathroom in the tent.
Accommodation faced away from the sun. No sun on the pitch. Therefore we were cold. Opposite pitch was in full sun, but that was for bring your own tent. For our more expensive accommodation, we expected to sit, relax, eat in the sun. Sadly we were disappointed and cold. Noise at night was not dealt with. Music and noise went on until 2am one morning. Another time we were woken by drunks around 2am. Do security mo longer do patrols?
Shower and bathroom within tent.
Large double bedroom was a tight squeeze to walk around with that wooden box/rail, positioned where it was.

The smell of the pine, proximity to the beach, the beach! Lots to do in area. Reps very helpful. Loved that you could borrow/have things that other families had left. Being able to get into caravan on late arrival. Spar - great Selection of bread.
Cleanliness of caravan. Not as good as it used to be. No bbq tools. Had to ask for knives - only 3 available. Men not being able to wear perfectly acceptable swimming trunks.
Shower good, hot. Fan.
Shower and basin had hair in from previous occupants. Bathroom sink dirty. No oven. Missing equipment, see above. Having to clean at end - used to be included in price.
