The fact that I could choose my location was brilliant. This is the 13th time I've spent at Le Vieux Port and the campsite is still spotlessly clean.
The exceptionally loud music at the swimming pool was horrendous! Everyone was trying to sit in the area where it was slightly quieter. The music was awful. One track had "mother f***ker" in it! Considering there were so many children it's unacceptable. I would like to know why I wasn't told that I was in an area of a million people, yet the rest of the campsite was quiet and half empty. There used to be security guards who quietened people down after 11pm. My hundreds of neighbours were shouting & singing at midnight! The woman at the reception was really miserable too!
The caravan was new and spotlessly clean. The shower was lovely and big.
The kitchen wasn't very well equipped. There weren't even any mugs for our coffee! I usually stay with Eurocamp, and although their homes aren't as new, their kitchens are far more stocked. Also, there was hardly any hanging space. It would be SO lovely if you offered bigger homes. They used to be lovely, with really large lounge areas with bay windows and seating for at least ten people. None of your accommodations have a large lounge area. It's such a shame. Some people, especially with kids, want to relax in the lounge and it's impossible in your small accommodations.

VIP places are large with own toilet, shower and even a small dishwasher. We loved this, such a luxury!
It’s too busy at the pool and in general. Apart from the VIP places, the campsite feels too cramped and crowded.
Loved the size of the VIP pitch and facing our own washing facilities and even dishwasher. Glad to be at the edge of the campsite where it was quieter.
Being opposite some of the rental units. In general, the camping pitches are scattered in between the rental units which makes it less of a camping atmosphere.

A super campsite with all the facilities you could need. And brilliant being right on the beach and close to a super town with lots of grey restaurants

Jacuzzi was fab -we all loved using it
I paid for a cabin with dune views but there weren’t any! We got moved after 4 days but was disappointed not to have been given the right cabin in the first place

We had a great time. The pool area and the sports facilities are great. Toilets are almost always clean and the private access to the beach was excellent. The animation, restaurants and the other services were also good. Special mention to the take away pizza. You should try it!!
I had wished more grass in our spot. The people did not respect the silence and every night we had people walking and talking loud near the tent passed 1am. The Spar Supermarket has really high prices for basic food. I only missed some real swimming area in the pool. It was not possible to swim.
It was near the pinpong tables and not far from the toilets and showers. The size and shadows were really good.
I would expect more grass, the ground was dusty. Being next to one of the main paths was a mistake. We sleep early and there was a lot of noise until passed 1am.

My wife Celine and I just returned from an incredible holiday here with our two small children, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From start to finish, the campsite delivered on everything we were hoping for in a coastal getaway. Special thanks to all the amazing staff, I mean everyone from the lifeguards, pool bar, maintenance, animation, VP brewery and reception.
We moved to premium after a few days as we needec more space.

Great site layout, you can relax away from the action on pitch, or be in the thick of it at the front of the site and in the arena. Good selection of restaurants to on site too All With great food.
More bins onsite would be welcomed
Large pitch well presented and clearly defined hedges.
Electric point should be numbered, we had to plug in three pitches from our own pitch. Higher amperage pitches would be a huge improvement.

Beach fantastic and lifeguards do a great job, pool kept immaculate, clean and safe for all. Site generally clean and well presented.
Pitches are not the biggest, no Motorhome point for filling up with water on the pitch or the site we had to fill our onboard tank with several trips to the washroom area and a large container. Bins are a long way away to take we had people dump their rubbish on our pitch.
Waste water access, proximity to the beach and pool all great.
Difficult to manoeuvre a motorhome onto and only just enough room for our awning between trees. No tap for water.

Good location with a variety of activities. The bull show is really worth doing. Takeaway pizzas were great
The pools, however, feel cramped for the size of campsite. I gave up trying to do any sort of swimming or soaking as people everywhere

Family of five staying for a week. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, particularly the activities that were put on through the week (day time and night time), plus the location so close to the beach.
It is a big site and the pool area is unbelievably busy on hot/sunny days Putting on more sporting activities during the day as they were always over subscribed (flag rugby, table tennis, volley ball etc). The outdoor gym/exercise area is not very good.
Loved the jacuzzi which we used every day. Outside table area was also great.
Would be nice to also have sun loungers as well as the deck chairs. On site shop seemed very expensive causing us to go elsewhere for shopping.

We enjoyed the location of the campsite, the proximity to the beach was fantastic.
On arrival someone was on our pitch and they expected to stay another night! We told reception, they said they would send someone to the pitch to help - however, no one came, much to our disappointment . Instead we had to negotiate with the Spanish guy to leave our pitch. This is totally unacceptable and very unprofessional. It meant that our first taste of the campsite was very poor. We do not except this from a 5 star campsite.
Our pitch was awful, we don’t have a very large tent and our vehicle is a regular size, however it was incredibly hard to place both on the pitch due to 2 trees blocking the space.
It would have been helpful to be told that our electricity point was accessed by crawling through bushes into our neighbours plots. Again, really not the 5 star experience. We asked if we could leave 1 hour early (5am) and Reception told us “yes” so we were surprised to be confronted by a man from Security who told us that Reception shouldn’t have said yes, and that his Director would be cross. We told him that we needed to leave early and that it really should be our problem that Security and Reception clearly don’t communicate! Awful ending to our holiday.

Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. The accommodation was incredible and the location of the site is unbelievable.
The safari tent was wonderful. Very spacious inside and out and had great facilities.
