Fabien and his staff were so friendly and helpful. Great activities in the day as well as at night. Good pitches with plenty of shade from the burning sun.. The site was quiet despite being fully. Highly recommend

Booked online via ACSI website. Nice welcome, we were showed to a pitch which was large and flat with plenty of shade (it was 36° when we arrived!). We had a drink at the bar, enjoyed a splash in the lovely pool and later had an excellent meal. What's not to like?
Grass was a little long (in some areas looked like it was being reseeded).
Everything we needed. Facilities were clean and plenty of hot water.
The facilities are open to the elements, so might not be great in cold or wet weather

I have camped in France over many years and this is the best. The friendly, staff work extremely hard to provide a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for people of all ages. The choice of activities for children is excellent including fishing and falconry. The food and drink is delicious including local produce and the gift selection in the reception is well stocked. The evening entertainment is varied with local musicians and exhibitors. The campsite is on the river where canoes can be hired. Local buses stop nearby. We came by public transport. This was our 2nd visit and we will be back.
The shade in hot weather was important. Sanitary facilities were a short walk for our children and play park was nearby.

The night before our arrival there was a major storm bringing down trees and power lines, despite which the team at the campsite kept things going. Out of season so the campsite quiet . Lovely beach on the Dordogne so great for just floating around.

Lovely campsite on banks of Dordogne with direct river access. Great swimming pool and reception with small cafe
Toilet and shower facilities open to outside and could be cold to use in the mornings. Also lots of dead flies etc around washbasins and shower cubicles which made the area not very nice to use.
River view
Not very grassy so lots of dirt as under many trees. Other pitches away from the river had better grass

However, there's not much we can do about the mayflies in the sinks in the morning (it's just nature), even if we clean them in the morning. Fabian and his team were extremely helpful and welcoming. The toilet blocks were clean and showers were excellent
I personally wouldn’t stay there again for two reasons: it’s predominantly for the French and there was a general lack of tidiness around some pitches that detracted from the site.

Fantastic family run campsite. The site was exceptionally clean and tidy, great pool area and lovely restaurant. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely family run site, helping us with all our requirements. We were parked right next to the river as we requested, with the owner checking everything was satisfactory a couple of hours after settling in. The swimming pool was wonderful. Showers etc great, laundry facilities too. Fresh bread etc can be ordered the day before. Bar area and food all good. I can’t give anything but praise.

Prachtige camping met plaatsen aan de rivier met een klein strandje.Super vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar/medewerkers. Hele mooie dorpen/stadjes in de omgeving op kleine (fiets)afstand. Zwembad erbij, kanoverhuur, restaurantje (met beperkte kaart), supermarktje in het dorp op 500meter. Broodservice. Je kan je hond makkelijk uitlaten. Het is een kleinere camping waardoor de service en persoonlijke benadering bij ontvangst jou meteen een een goed gevoel geeft. Tsja, eigenlijk alles was top.Dank je wel camping La Plage voor de goede zorgen!
Als ik dan tóch iets zou moet noemen dan is het aantal toiletten wat klein.
Wat een fantastische plek hadden wij! Uitkijkend over de Dordogne, prachtige natuur en met een ijsvogeltje voor onze neus. De eigenaar loopt met je mee om de meerdere opties te laten zien, Uiteraard kozen wij de, voor ons, mooiste plek!
Dat we niet langer konden blijven.

Le séjour s'est très bien passé, les installations du camping sont très propres et confortables, il est possible de se poser au bord de la Dordogne mais également de profiter de la piscine.
Le bangalow toilé est confortable, il y a le nécessaire pour cuisiner, une terrasse vue sur les falaises et beaucoup de calme.

Le personnel est hyper accueillant, le camping est très propre et bien entretenu, et les animations sont géniales !
Un sol en dur (carrelage), un vrai lit et une salle de bain avec le plaisir du camping
La table dehors un poil trop grande sur la terrasse, c'est un peu difficile pour celui qui est placé dans le fond
