Our campsite is indeed still developing, and unfortunately, our young plantations have suffered greatly from the exceptionally hot summer. As they grow, they will gradually bring more greenery and shade to the site. Regarding the surface of your pitch, it is intentionally semi-hardstanding, as these pitches are specially designed for motorhomes to provide better accessibility and stability, particularly in wet weather. We also take note of your comment regarding the proximity of the road. We hope to welcome you again in the future so you can see how the site continues to develop!

We are pleased that you enjoyed your accommodation and especially our location, which is indeed ideal for exploring Chambord and the Loire Valley by bike. 🚲 We understand your comment regarding the distance between the car park and your accommodation. Part of our campsite is deliberately car-free, which helps us preserve the peaceful, safe and natural atmosphere that many of our guests particularly appreciate. We do, however, take your feedback into account and are considering solutions such as luggage trolleys to make arrivals and departures easier. Regarding the barbecue, we currently provide charcoal barbecues. We appreciate your suggestion about gas models, although this would represent a different approach in terms of equipment, maintenance and safety. We have already planted hundreds of metres of hedges and many trees, which will gradually provide more privacy and shade as they grow. We appreciate your patience during this development phase. Regarding the washrooms, one section was temporarily closed for maintenance to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. Regarding parking, our choice to keep vehicles away from the accommodation areas is part of our commitment to maintaining a peaceful, safe, and nature-focused environment. We do understand, however, that unloading luggage closer to the lodge would be more convenient. Concernant les fourmis, la proximité avec la nature peut parfois nous réserver quelques petits visiteurs indésirables, mais nous restons bien sûr attentifs à ce point.
