Lovely campsite on the banks of the Loire river with an easy walk to the village with good hotels and a small supermarket

The team - Hervé, Clément and all the other hard workers. Nothing was any trouble. Lovely clean tidy site with great pitches by the river. So quiet. Lots of lovely flowers and gardens. Nice pool & restaurant. Good activities. A good policy to be quiet and no cars after 10.30pm and before 7.30am
WiFi did not work very well. Maybe a policy to tell children not to put their things on the sun beds and provide some shelving to put their things on. Otherwise they ‘reserve’ the beds and spend the whole time in the pool meaning that adults can’t always get a bed.

Superb location on the south bank of the Loire. Small Montsoreau village provides lovely bakery, butchers, restaurants and basic mini supermarket- but take note of opening times. Great for cycling - we went to Saumur and Fontevraud - site borders Loire à Vélo path. Site well maintained, good shade with very helpful staff. Mix of motorhomes, caravans, tents plus cabins for cyclists etc. Even mix of Brits, French, Dutch with some other Europeans when we were there in July. We would happily return

Fantastic. Fence between pitch and path then river a few feet away. Chance to greet dog walkers etc! Lovely views. No problems with noise

We loved the site, pitches were spacious, felt very safe, loved the recycling facilities - very important to us. The playground was fabulous and the pool was perfect 🥰
Maybe a little more environmental stimulation for the lovely chickens - a few more things for them to do/climb on etc would help them with boredom and pecking each other.
Size of pitch was great, electric was close, water was close. Private, quiet and clean.

The facilities were clean and accessible. It's in a great spot, close to the village and cycle paths.
The bar sometimes closed unexpectedly. Maybe some kind of social occasion to bring people together - a games evening (boules match?) that doesn't rely on language.
Private. Good electricity and wi-fi connection.

The plots and layout is lovely, the location is perfect, toilet blocks are lovely and clean. I cannot fault the site

Great pitch, riverside and huge for our campervan and awning. Very modern and well appointed shower and toilet block. Great pool area, bar and outside eating area. Right on the Velo Loire cycle path. The village of Montsoreau is about 400 yards to the left of the campsite and has a lovely feel and ambience with a supermarket, a couple of restaurants, a bakery and a Tabac.
Only 8 showers in total so had to wait in busy periods but not a huge problem.
Large pitch, good hook up, easy to get to the facilities and felt safe and secure.

Pool could open earlier - eg 9 am ? And it would be good if trampolines could be left unlocked until later eg 10 pm?
Clean and comfortable
Limited contact from reception, as we arrived after 7 pm. Lengthy list of items ( itinerary ) to check on arrival. There was a bad smell from the shower, and shower drain plate was left up. Spoke to reception on second day and they said someone could come round the next day.

There’s a footpath by the river which can be quite noisy Beware the bar and reception don’t open between 12pm & 2pm which isn’t helpful as there’s nowhere to park if you get there early or want a drink The staff didn’t show us to the pitch and weren’t the happiest bunch but all was ok

Campsite is set In fabulous location beautiful kept Lovely staff great restaurant on site with locally sourced produce. If you like cycling this definitely a must as cycle route on the door step

It would be helpful for the recycling to be emptied more frequently.

The view is wonderful, right on the banks of the Loire. The town is very convenient and provides a typical French rural experience. The site has a great swimming pool and everything is clean and well maintained. One of the best sites we have stayed on, and we have stayed on a lot.
It would be nice to have some toilet and shower facilities at the furthest ends of the campsite
