Great location, peaceful, lots of wildlife.

We had a lovely stay at this site. Very friendly welcome. All the facilities were available, including a daily bakery delivery of croissants and baguettes. The snack bar was great too. There were lots of choices for cycle paths nearby and very close to the river. Would happily recommend and look forward to staying again.

Small and Friendly, great reception on arrival, nice terrace for food or drinks overlooking the Loire.

Spent 5 nights here on this lovely campsite run by such a hard working couple. They are constantly around talking with visitors, cleaning, cooking , sorting and organising. It's a very well organised site with lovely pitches, very clean sanitaires and the nicest bar/restaurant terrace from which you can watch the sun set over the Loire. We ate here twice-pizza night features really well topped homemade pizzas which were very good. Book when you arrive to secure a table. You can sit on this terrace with a cold beer/ice cream during the day. Cycle track to Blois/Amboise at gate. Book-full often

Excellent location and well run site . Nice shady spots and a great little Bar / restaurant overlooking the river . Natalie and Cyril were excellent hosts

Restaurant slots sell out very quickly so perhaps investment in more staff to increase capacity at the restaurant would be good . It’s such a nice spot and people love eating there . Would prefer to have fresh goods in the shop ,and not pre order would also be helpful. Evan if fresh bread and croissants cost a little more to cover potentially some unsold items .

Second time we visited, having promised ourselves we would return after our first visit. So glad we came back - Cyril and Natalie were as lovely and welcoming as we remembered, and the campsite is spotless and perfect. We will be back again I’m sure!!

Hosts Natalie and Cyril so friendly and welcoming hosts,superb campsite on the river Loire, quite and peaceful site , lovely bar / cafe with lovely food.

Possibly grey and chemical waste facilities cud b better.

Very friendly and amusing staff. Wonderful music in the toilet/shower block. Peaceful,clean, relaxing, and right on the cycle track. Faultless.

Lovely, peaceful site in amongst the trees and on the banks of The Loire river. Natalie and Cyril who run the site are amazing hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. They have a lovely bar/restaurant area overlooking the river, and Cyril turns chef for 6 nights a week. The menu is simple, usually burgers or pizza, but always very tasty! The facilities block is kept spotlessly clean. The pitches are a good size and perfect for our 7m motorhome. The site is on the Loire Velo route, so ideal for gentle, or more active cycle rides. This was our 3rd visit to the site and we will be back!

There is no grey waste disposal for motorhomes, which is a minor inconvenience, but would help if you are staying for a longer period and need to empty the tank.

We had a large pitch in a cul de sac formation. Sanitary facilities were ok. Proprietors are super friendly and helpful - brilliant!

Restaurant menu/shop?

Super friendly and efficient welcome. Felt like a well loved family owned site with a lot of heart. Lovely decorativr touches that added further to its soul.

I can’t think of a single one.

Superb quiet location on the Loire, loads of bird life, bike paths through forest to nearby towns. But the highlight was the friendly and efficient service provided by Cyril and Nathalie

A motorhome drainage point would be helpful, but we found one nearby in the Amboise International Marche parking area.

The site is small but with good sized pitches and all amenities to hand. The location is fairly rural on the banks of the Loire, but next to the cycle path and loads of cycle routes. The staff were very helpful and friendly, there is a small shop and they have really good food available 6 evenings a week...plus a bar.

Showers need to be warmer no ceilings in shower block okay when weather warm not so when chilly

Good atmosphere, helpful and attentive owners. Good value snack bar which was open in April serving tasty food & local beer.
