Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoFrom the moment we arrived, the site felt really comfortable. The French owners Clara and Stephan were very welcoming and friendly, as were all the staff. There are several British couples who have returned twice yearly for the last 20+ years so that must speak for itself. It was our first time there but we never felt like ‘outsiders’, There is a small heated pool and the facilities are spotless. Site is just outside the bastion walls of Navarrenx, where there are restaurants, a couple of bars and a few shops to get your basic supplies, all within walking distance.
Can’t think of anything, it was lovely.
Large fully serviced pitch with some shade, which was very welcoming in the heatwave.

Welcoming staff booked us in swiftly to a perfect pitch. EHU was simple and everywhere was clean and tidy. Pool perfect and quiet. On site pizz, and bar only opens one or two times a week, but the village has everything you'd need.

Good sized pitch. Not all we're flat. The soft soap in the shower block smelled nice too

Everything including the welcome from staff on arrival, the pitch large and shade as requested, the pool was perfect and very pretty and walk around old town right beside campsite was so good we did it twice in under 12 hours. Also facilities spotless. Our dog made very welcome
Bar wasn’t opened as mid June but able to easily walk into town for an aperitif and people just brought a drink to the lovely seating by the pool for that communal experience
Pitch large and shady

Green and cared for campsite with good sanitary facilities and friendly and helpful owners. A very welcome swimming pool. Boulangerie and small supermarket within easy walking distance. A short walk in to historic town of Navarrenx.
Well keep pitches. Some fully serviced. Part sun, part shade

The pool is lovely
Stayed at Beau Rivage in Navarrenx and came away feeling a bit disappointed overall. The location is central, but there’s actually not a lot to do locally. We never managed to find proper access to the river, and there are no real off-road cycling or walking routes nearby without having to travel further afield, which was a downside for us. The pool is genuinely lovely and probably the highlight of the site. However, it did feel a bit restrictive at times — children were told off for playing and having fun (not ours, but noticeable), which took away from the atmosphere. The campsite itself.
Pitch felt cramped and no privacy

Everything we needed was available on site and close to our pitch: good food, clean washrooms, laundry. On the second night there was great live music playing unobtrusively in the area of the pool/bar which added to the lovely laid-back atmosphere. The interesting town of Navarranx and a Carrefour Express is a very short walk away.
The site had a small, cosy vibe. We were in an area with 3 other pitches, surrounded by trees and hedges. Everything was within easy reach.
A few dogs ran around off lead and weren't recalled by the owner.

We found Beau Rivage by accident and I’m so glad we did. It’s friendly, well kept, small and quiet but has all the facilities you need - plus a few extras. Pizzas were available on one of the nights we were there, and a different visiting food truck the next night. There was a 2-man band playing great music unobtrusively near the small bar on Thurs night. There’s a small pool, a laundry and a truck with fresh bread, fruit and vegetables that visits most mornings. The fascinating town is only a short walk away. Will definitely return!

We were in an area of 3 other pitches, sheltered by trees, hedges and bushes. Close to the facilities but very peaceful despite it being end July/beg Aug

Great location walking distance to the town, friendly staff, nice swimming pool, good facilities. Good site for walking or cycling.
A shame that there was no restaurant open on site at end of June; too early in season? Site was full and spoke to many people who were disappointed that this facility wasn't available for lunch or evening meal. Only downside really.
Good size pitch, no complaints.

Nice site, pitches are of a good size. Showers clean. Have washing machines, buy a token from reception. Nice size swimming pool staff very friendly. I would stay again. Small village in walking distance with restaurants, shops and a small supermarket.
Good pitch

Site adjacent to fortified town with all the necessities. Market on Wed very good. Comfy grass and hard standing pitches
Good pitch
Some pitches got waterlogged in rain

Really good place to stay, cute little town to visit, staff at campsite really nice and helpful
More toilet facilities and another washing machine. Would be ideal to include a dog shower with a washing machine to be able to wash dog stuff.
Plot was good size and clean
The bushes in the plot that overlook the lake could be better maintained and gives the clients a better view to the lake.

We have stayed before but only for a night stop over before travelling on. This time two nights and loved the experience. Showers were lovely and hot, hopefully not because “off peak”.
Nothing to say about anything that would improve our stay.
Spacious and private.
Nothing to dislike.
