"Great campsite bike ride to the beach"
The campsite is ideal for the local beach especially surfing. An easy bike ride to the local supermarket, patisserie, restaurant and bars. Swimming pool is a plus, Food waste for the chickens is an excellent ideal

We stayed for a week and didn’t find anything wrong with the site or area.

Nice area to explore with everything you need and a supermarket very close by bicycle.

Too close to the indoor swimming pool so very noisy. Toilets and showers could have been cleaner but it was high season so busier.

"Friendliest campsite ever "
Relaxed and friendly, really helpful pleasant staff. Good pool, lots for kids to do.

Not a big fan of mixed shower and toilet blocks (ie men and women together) and for some reason one large block was closed for most of our stay which put pressure on the others.

Hello Mrs. JONES, Thank you for your review. We do have mixed showers and sanitaries as we are involved in a social progress. It is our way to challenge gender discriminations. We are surprised by your message about sanitary: none of our block was closed for most of your stay. However, we do close them when we clean as it is more convenient for our worker team. Yet, the cleaning is not done during rush hours. The number of taps in the blocks is superior to what is legally required but we are going to add some outside. Thank you for your feedback. "Another fantastic holiday. Thank you team La Torche"
We love the La Torche team, their relaxed family atmosphere and their willingness to provide an excellent service, meeting any requirements. We also love the laid back atmosphere of the campsite which is a huge plus for a holiday. We enjoyed exploring the area by bicycle.

The only thing that I disliked about my stay was having to return home! But knowing we'll stay next summer made me feel a little better.

"We love La Torche"
We love the site, the friendly staff, the facilities and location.

The caravan we were allocated had had water leaking issues previously.

Plenty of space inside and great decking space.

Our caravan (#125) had obviously had water ingress problems in the past. The main bedroom floor was compromised and the bathroom door would not open properly due to swollen boards. However this did spoil the stay.

"Super camping"
The staff are very friendly and helpful. You are always greeted by a smile at Camping La Torche. They are generous of their time. Activities for kids are great: kids club, pool, bouncy castle, trampolines. You can order bread and croissants every day. The staff seems more than happy to guide you about anything related to the camping or activities in the region.

I'd be willing to pay more to stay in a camping that has a no smoking policy - it's the outdoors, we go camping to be in nature and when your neighbour smokes next to you, it's really unpleasant (this has nothing to do with the camping or the friendly staff, it's the fault of other customers not being mindful of those around them - sadly.)
