The site is pleasant and quiet with views over the river from my pitch, made it special.
Head of administration, needs to be Fired! They knew the main road to the site was going to be closed, so any well run establishment that had arrivals for that day should have been notified by text and email, at least the day before. Turning a twin axle caravan in that road was a headache. No diversion route to the campsite was shown anywhere. I had to rely on my map skills, when on my own. Not even an apology from the older gentleman that was gardening, although let me in. I was really cross because of no communication.
Pitch was good , grass was still great in the majority of places. Nice walk into town with quite a few places to see and places to eat.
Cold showers in swimming pool area. WiFi could be free.

This is a lovely, pretty and tranquil site on the Loire. A five minute walk to the town of Gien. Plenty of interesting places to visit locally. The owners, Patricia and Didier are super, very friendly and helpful. Fresh bread every morning, a grocery across the road, and a good restaurant on the site.

Hello, We are sorry for the disappointment it caused to you that the swimming pool had to be closed on mid-september as said in our website (mid-september doesn't mean on the 15th exactly...). Nevertheless, you gave bad notations on every points of this form. 4 in general, welcome, welcome, services, region and 5 regarding the cleanliness. We find it harsh because this is not what usually emanates from peoples' comment and it is close to our hearts to satisfy every single tourist. If it is just because the swimming pool was closed, then... Have a nice day

Lovely small, quiet site, which was just what I wanted. Really picturesque too. Our lodge was clean and well equipped. Pool got a little busy at times as in truth it’s not quite big enough, but the kids loved it regardless. Didn’t try the on site restaurant, but the walk to the town where there are lots of places to eat was only about 10 minutes. Overall I would recommend staying here.

The campsite is friendly, spacious and with good facilities. Easy access to River Loire. Great restaurant which accommodated three gluten free (Coeliac Disease) guests with ease.
The staff use the washing machines for laundry of blankets from the caravans. Meant a que of customers able to use only one machine, there are two. I'd like to have been able to compost food waste rather than place in general waste.
Well laid out van with everything needed for a good night's sleep and to be able to cook a good meal. Shower was only tried by daughter rest of us used the showers on site. We're regular campers so this was very agreeable with us. Great selection of chairs and good deck. Lots of shade which was lovely in July temperatures.

The two young ladies on reception made it an easy checkin, thank you. A quiet site, within a 20 minute walk into Gien.

Great location next to the river within an easy walk to the town where there are some E E slow r restaurants as well as the neighbouring the site all of which offer good foie and are value for money, We would visit again.
Nothing on the site but our satnav brought us over the narrow weight limited bridge. Advice as to troupes to the site would be helpful if available.

We stayed two nights in a roulotte gîte (circus trailer). They are fully-equipped units with a prime view of Gien and the chateau. Really wonderful.
We liked the uniqueness of the accommodation and the excellent view.
