The campsite was easy to get to and well place as a stop off and for longer stays
Sanitary facilities need upgrading. Everything was clean and worked fine but just a bit tired

The site is close to the town and all facilities were in good order and kept clean. The pitches were large and level with a good variety of trees for shade if needed. The staff were friendly and courteous and there was no noise after 10pm. I commend this site to all.

Low season but only one sanitary block open, and the water in the shower was lukewarm and kept going cold. There are only two taps for fresh water and one was broken.

The site is pleasant and quiet with views over the river from my pitch, made it special.
Head of administration, needs to be Fired! They knew the main road to the site was going to be closed, so any well run establishment that had arrivals for that day should have been notified by text and email, at least the day before. Turning a twin axle caravan in that road was a headache. No diversion route to the campsite was shown anywhere. I had to rely on my map skills, when on my own. Not even an apology from the older gentleman that was gardening, although let me in. I was really cross because of no communication.
Pitch was good , grass was still great in the majority of places. Nice walk into town with quite a few places to see and places to eat.
Cold showers in swimming pool area. WiFi could be free.

This is a lovely, pretty and tranquil site on the Loire. A five minute walk to the town of Gien. Plenty of interesting places to visit locally. The owners, Patricia and Didier are super, very friendly and helpful. Fresh bread every morning, a grocery across the road, and a good restaurant on the site.
First class, everything in perfect order. Cosy and comfortable.

Le restaurant a proximité et son équipe qui parle et crie en fin de service vers 1h30 2h du matin. Manque de respect total de la clientèle du camping

Goede ontvangst bij de receptie. Na het betalen van de borg ad €150,- kregen we sleutel van het huisje. Het huisje was schoon en voorzien van een keuken, douche, woon- en een slaapkamer. Ruim voldoende voor 2 personen. In de nabijheid van een winkeltje en aan de overkant van de Loire een grote hypersupermarkt. Het bij de camping behorende restaurant valt tegen. Zeer beperkte keuze bij het voorgerecht en onduidelijke toelichting bij de gerechten. Eigenaar is onvriendelijk, personeel is ook onzeker. Helaas vallen de toeristische fietsroutes en fietspaden heel erg tegen.
Uitgebreidere menukeuzes in het restaurant en vrolijk bedienend personeel. Gemeente Gien moet de fietspaden verbeteren.

We hebben deze camping geboekt voor 2 nachtjes op de weg terug naar huis. De camping ligt mooi gelegen aan de Loire met een mooi uitzicht op het stadje Gien. De camping is netjes. Er komen volgens mij bijna alleen maar mensen die deze camping voor 1 of 2 nachtjes boeken. Voor de kinderen was de trampoline heel erg leuk en ze hebben zich ook wel vermaakt met de sportapparaten die er stonden. Leuk restaurantje bij de camping waar je lekker kunt eten maar deze moet je wel ver van te voren reserveren anders worden ze heel boos op je. Dus ook daar was de gastvrijheid ver te zoeken.
De gastvrijheid was ver te zoeken bij deze camping. Bij aankomst keek de receptioniste zo nors dat we bijna niks durfde te vragen. Terwijl zij ons aan het helpen was ging zij gewoon tussendoor met een collega staan klesten. We kregen geen uitleg over de camping. We vroegen nog of we vroeg konden vertrekken. Dat kon met de code van de slagboom en dan moest je de sleutel in de box doen. Helaas bleek dat niet zo te zijn en stonden we om 6 uur voor een dichte slagboom. Stond ook nergens hoe laat die wel open ging. Via chatgpt breek deze om 7 uur open te gaan. Een uur voor niks staan wachten.
Onze tent was super. Heel netjes en prima bedden en eigenlijk had het wel alles wat je nodig had voor een paar nachtjes. Heel fijn dat er een grote koelkast in stond met zelfs een vriesvak.
Het enige wat ik eigenlijk miste in de tent was stromend water of een waterpunt vlakbij de tent. Nu moest je helemaal naar het toiletgebouw lopen voor water. Op de heenreis hadden we op een andere camping ook zo'n tent geboekt en die had dat wel en dat is echt wel heel fijn. Dat er geen toilet of douche in zit vonden we niet erg, dat wisten we ook maar het water hebben we wel gemist. Tevens vonden we het zwembad niet heel schoon. Je zag niks onder water. De kinderen wilde iets opduiken maar dat ging niet want dat kon je het niet meer terug vinden.
