Location was good for shopping at supermarket, and the town. Quite a walk to Mont Sant Michelle, ok if you have bike or tow car.
Shower blocks were quite a distance from our pitch, and we were under trees, so ok if you like shade but not if you like sun.

Having stopped here last year, we booked again on our final leg of our French tour of Normandy for a 10 day stay before heading for the ferry home.
The site looked like it was in disrepair most of the pitches had not been attended from last year grass cut hedge trimmed etc etc
Toilet and shower clean and new.
No water stand pipe or grey waste for motorhome or caravan i would expected with a premium pitch.

We have stayed at this site since it opened 40 plus years ago. Then it was family run and kept immaculately. It seems that since becoming a member of Seasonova the infrastructure; roads, hedges verges and fencing is now neglected. We were particularly concerned at the abandonment of the security of the fencing and gate onto the public path along the river. This site is now mediocre.
Permanently repair the roadways, particularly from the entrance to the reception, not just loose fill! Trim the grass along the hedges, deweed the paths and reinstate the gate and fencing to secure the site from unwelcome visitors at night.
Well laid out pitches, good clean facilities, easy access from the road network and close to a lovely town and attractions. Also friendly helpful staff.
Apart from the comments above we are worried that with more pitches being used for chalets and fixed tents there will be fewer touring pitches resulting in a need to pre book which doesn't fit with our wandering holidays.

A good deep clean of shower room facilities.. pitches levelled where possible.. hedges cut and weeds dealt with bar area is shabby especially outside table and chairs need replaced urgently!
Overall presentation is poor ...shabby and unkempt... bins area is a disaster people dont know where to put their rubbish no clear markings on bins ...area is a shambles dont know how you expect people to properly recycle!
Just sub standard facilities showers need a proper thorough professional clean place is shabby overall and unkempt worse site so far in our travels this year

I like the proximity to the town and the supermarket.
I have been coming to this site for approximately 14 years. However the grooming of the site has deteriorated, especially the maintenance of the pitches. The grass needed cut a on the fully serviced pitch and the condition of the roadways was the worst I've seen for quite a while.

The pitch was in bad repair, it had an irregular surface where it had holes.

We spent 3 days at Haliotis. The site is friendly and the pitches are a reasonable size. They were, however, a bit overgrown and were only mowed prior to us leaving. We used ACSI, so the cost was reasonable. Water was adjacent to our pitch and the chemical disposal site was up at the motorhome service point. The abultions were average and the bar and pool quite good.
The grass on the pitches could have been cut more frequently as it looked like they hadn't been mown in weeks. The first pitch we were allocated had a deep hollow in the centre and was totally unsuitable for a caravan.

Haliotis was a really nice site, close to cycle path for mont st michel ,really clean and superb facilities, shops close by.Really excellent site.

Very relaxed well run campsite. We had a slow safari tent and it was well kitted out and very clean. Linens were crisp and little extras like a sponge, drying towel and cleaning fluid were appreciated.

Popular site with families and children - has pool and playground activities Reception staff welcoming and spoke good English Nice bar and cafe on site Shared toilet and shower facilities, plenty of them and kept clean Good motorhome service point Ideal for walk or cycle along riverside straight to Mont St Michel (about 6 miles each way) Also about 30 minute drive to park & Ride for St Malo which was very good as had bus direct into city included in price for parking.
Unable to get through site barrier on arrival as did not have an access code and there was no arrival parking area before the barrier - could email barrier code to visitors on day of arrival

Felt the site was good. Noisy first night with site activities and some lads camping nearby! However, the toilet, shower facilities were excellent and very clean. Water for use in van, ie kettle, cooking and washing vegetables and fruit, seemed to be unavailable! Pitches could do with more attention, mowing, as the grass wasn’t good. Albeit, in the end, we found the site very good.

Plenty of room on the motorhome pitches and good privacy with the hedges on each pitch. Showers and toilets were very clean, all staff were very friendly and helpful.Having a town and shops and Resturant so close just makes for a perfect stay in Grance
