We had a lovely couple of days at Camping Haliotis. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere around the bar and pool. Great location to the Mont Saint Michel and in the village of Pontorson.
It was a shame that the surface around the pool was starting to degrade. Change your rum behind the bar - we ordered two different rum drinks and they both were unpleasant.

Stayed here for one night stop over on our way down through France from Cherbourg. Big pitch, peaceful location. Staff are charming, wonderful way to unwind at the start of our holiday. Hand dryers at head height in the showers was a bonus.
Large pitch with shade and electric. All pitches are flat and pegs go in easy.

Ability to hire bikes on site, layout of the site with lots of privacy for each pitch, proximity to Mont St Michel, cleanliness of site, lovely bread each morning and lovely staff who were so helpful, friendly and spoke a good range of languages.

The pitch allocated to us was great A large pitch in the shade which was very welcome The facilities were always kept clean and the water hot Lots of things to do for adults and children so I can reccomend the site for families
The pitch we were allocated had very little light at night and would benefit with more illumination

We had a good stay as a stop-over. Check-in went smoothly, we also made use of the swimming pool. The facilities were clean and modern. There is a children's toilet, which we appreciated!
It was very hot on our arrival and unfortunately, there was no shade.

More comfort pitches. Lots of nice pitches, but no water to connect to. So very restricted to where we could choose, and the few that were comfortable pitches are the furthest away from the pool etc.

The campsite is right next to the cycle path an easy ride to Mint St Michel and has a lovely pool and bar
Maybe a few more basic items available at the shop
My husband surprised me with a bathroom on the pitch, immaculately clean with a fantastic shower. Also washing up facilities. Brilliant!

Le nombre de toilettes, de douches et de lavabos est insuffisant pour répondre aux besoins de tous les campeurs. J'ai séjourné trois jours dans ce camping. L'eau a été coupée pendant toute une matinée et, pendant deux jours sur trois, il n'y a pas eu d'eau chaude. Je n'ai pas pu doucher mon fils de trois ans. Je considère qu'il s'agit d'un grave dysfonctionnement et j'estime avoir droit à un remboursement partiel du montant payé pour ces trois jours, puisque, pendant deux jours, je n'ai pas pu bénéficier des services annoncés.

Perfect stopover during our Normandy road trip. Clean, peaceful campsite with friendly staff and an excellent location near Mont Saint-Michel. Highly recommended!

Our pitch was on a corner and was a little short and narrow, but it had everything we needed for our two-night stay.

Didn’t like the location of toilets opposite the swimming pool and on a thoroughfare, not enough toilets or showers for size of site and people were queuing for both at times

Facilities were fine. Unfortunately we didn’t have air conditioning, but we knew that from the beginning, so it was just a matter of accepting. We only had one night so it was okay. Playground and animal area was fine and we woke up to the sound of horses just outside the window. Staff in reception were kind.
It should be more clear when booking, that sheets are not included or how to add it to the booking. Pool area could use a little hand. Small stones from the ground were loose and it was not comfortable to walk on as well as some of the stones ended up in the pool.
The accommodation was small and cozy and a good fit for a family with 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 11 y.o) We didn’t have much space but as we didn’t really use the accommodation it didn’t matter. We only spent one night
Lack of airconditioning which seems to be standard at most campsites in Normandy and maybe even France in general.
