We stayed here as a family for one week, and another family joined us half way through. The clear notable parts of this campsite are the standard to which it is run. It is in brilliant condition throughout, and clearly maintains to a very high standard. Toilets, washing up facilities, showers were all brilliant, beautifully clean. The inside and outside swimming pool options work brilliantly, and the slides are great fun for all the family. The local beach is absolutely beautiful, and there are some lovely, very French towns and markets locally. The service from the whole team was brilliant.
Absolutely nothing. This was a perfect experience. We will be back. We love the fact that it is only 40 minutes from Cherbourg. A great staging post if you are then off further afield into Normandy or Brittany or France
We camped. We had plenty of shade from the well-kept trees. The power supply was great. We were close to all amenities and a water source. I really can't fault any of it.

The whole place was very clean. Especially the pool area was in very good shape.
Communication of kitchen times could be better. When the restaurant is open until 2pm, I would expect to get a snack at 1:30.
The cottage was in very good shape, the kitchen well equipped. The beds were comfortable. Everything very clean.
For a cottage for up to seven people, there were too few hooks for jackets and towels. As everywhere, the knives... Well, bring your own sharp knives.

Klein restaurant met weinig keus, wat ze hebben is dan wel erg lekker!

De grootte van de plek In zee zijn veel plekken met stenen waar je moeilijk met blote voeten de zee in kan de zee is ook lang ondiep met weinig golven.
Heel schoon netjes en modern
De bedden lagen niet voor iedereen in het gezin even goed en het zo mooi zijn. Als je de optie hebt om beddengoed mee te huren net als handdoeken . Er was geen scherp mesje in de keuken Er was geen waterkoker of fluitketel

Very helpful staff, a very well run and ordered site. Quite a quiet, friendly site.
It would be helpful if it was clearer how to recycle waste, it all seems to go into into one dustbin. Some more information about local attractions would be helpful.

We received a warm welcome at reception and care was taken to explain and help us. A pitch was offered but it was suggested we walk around first to see if it suited. Bread and croissants etc could be ordered for the next morning. Toilet block is modern and very clean. We didn’t use the pool or other activities on site but they looked good. We were able to stay on site until late afternoon on our last day to better suit our leaving to the ferry time.
A chemical waste point nearer the pitches and a means to fill the aquaroll without using a slow push tap!

The owners and their family are very nice and welcoming, it’s a good location. The whole site is very well cared for and maintained, spotlessly clean. Good for cycling and walking. We will return. Thank you!

Together with our two dogs we spent five relaxing days on this beautiful campsite. Everthing was well organized, the toilets and bathrooms were always clean and the beach is just a five minute walk far away. We‘ll come back.

The camping site is peacefull and quiet. The bathrooms and toilets are kept VERY clean. The staff is helpfull and friendly. You can order fresh bread every morning. The pools, inside and outside, are clean and nice. We really enjoyed our stay.
Our camping spot was really close to the pool and playground, so sometimes there was some noise from children playing there loudly. Maybe it’s an idea to put families with children close to the playground and couples without children a bit furder away?

We enjoyed our stay at camping L'Esperance. The kids loved the pool, the sanitary building was clean en tidy en the kids loved the playground and football/basketball field.
Our accomodation was our own tent and a tent for the kids. The pitches were fine, maybe a bit narrow when also fitting a car next to it.. They placed some other dutch couples around our campingspot, so I had the feeling that the camping takes into account that similar nationalities may like to stay in eachothers vicinity.

Goede plaatsen met ook nog meer mensen die 'gewoon' kamperen (want ook hier; veel huisjes!). Zeer fijne eigenaar!

A great experience at Camping L'Espérance. We were full of hope and expectations for our stay and that was fulfilled through the wonderful welcome and friendliness of the owners, the superb facilities, the cleanliness and the peaceful and friendly feel of the site.
Plenty of room on our pitch on ground which drained well despite a few Normandy showers. Well-placed for all facilities.

Very close to the sea very clean site , booked online when we arrived I asked if my ACSI card gave us a discount as the online booking system as far as I could see didn’t, the owner checked and immediately offered money back , great service *****
