Nice quiet spacious pitches under trees - just what we wanted
More information about the shop - as a cyclist you really need to know if the shop has food for an evening meal, which it doesn't

Thank you for your review and for staying with us. We are delighted that you enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, the spacious pitches, and the shade of the trees – exactly what many of our guests are looking for. We are sorry that we did not have the opportunity to explain our services to you upon arrival, especially information about our shop. As you arrived during our midday break, we unfortunately missed our usual welcome, during which we present the facilities available on site. Our shop is open on request throughout the day and offers a range of local products, including ready-made meals that are particularly popular with the cyclists who stay with us. We also offer a selection of takeaway dishes available by pre-order. We understand that this information would have been useful to you and will consider how we can make it more visible for guests. I've stayed before and deliberately chose to stay here again whilst visiting the Dordogne. The site is only a few minutes from Sarlat-la-Canéda and is easily walkable if you don't mind a few small hills. The facilities are lovely and clean, the site is large, and each pitch has plenty of space. I was able to get a 6x3m tent and my car onto the pitch with spare room available. The hosts are lovely and friendly. I will be back again!
I stayed on a tent / caravan pitch. Electricity is available, just make sure you have a French power adaptor as the site uses standard Euro-plugs, not commando-type sockets.

We had a lovely stay at this lovely little campsite just 8 minutes from Sarlat. Super friendly people even the other campers were really friendly! Nice heated pool which was great for a little dip. Showers were actual proper showers, none of this having to hold a button down rubbish you get on so many sited. You could control the temperature and the shower heads are nice and big so you can get a really good satisfying shower.
Like many small campsites the sanitary block is a little tired, but still perfectly good.
Loved our very shady pitch. Despite the site being on a hill all of the pitches were levelled out which made pitching a tent or levelling a camper van easy.

Tout était parfait! L'accueil est chaleureux, le camping offre de belles prestations, tout est propre. L'ambiance est chaleureuse, conviviale, familiale, dans un cadre naturel. Mes fils et moi-même avons adoré notre séjour!
La cabane, atypique, était parfaite. Elle offre tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un excellent séjour.

Très bel endroit et un accueil très gentil de la part de ses propriétaires. L'accès à la piscine est très appréciable aussi surtout quand il fait très chaud. Dernière chose, la petite épicerie sur sur place dépanne bien. Je reviendrai sans hésiter.

L’accueil est toujours aussi chaleureux à la Roussie ! Justine et Guillaume apportent un coup de peps et de frais à ce beau camping déjà si agréable lorsque Claire-Lise et Eric s’en occupaient. Oui, nous sommes des « habitués » et ce n’est pas pour rien ! On y trouve le calme, la détente et la convivialité. Des sanitaires très propres et fonctionnels. Une belle piscine bien entretenue pour se rafraîchir. Bref… On y est bien. On a envie d’y retourner ! Et au delà de ça, il est idéalement situé pour visiter la magnifique Sarlat La Caneda et tout les merveilleux sites du Perigord noir.

La literie un peu spartiate et un petit jerrican pour avoir de l'eau a porter de main 😉
C'est un hébergement insolite, dormir dans une cabane a vraiment plu a ma fille de 3 ans, l’emplacement est ombragé, nourrir les poules est devenue une activité quotidienne.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au camping La Roussie. La communication est parfaite et nous avons été accueillis comme à la maison par les propriétaires. Le camping est calme et ombragé, idéal pour y séjourner quelques jours.
Parfait avec une très belle vue sur le château La Roussie.
