Camping Universal

The new management made some improvements and refurbishing on the site (roads, lights, trees, building, kitchen, swimming pool) and is working hard to give all the guests a pleasant stay. Entertainment nights with weekly music/artist, bingo, karaoke, game nights and some light sporting activities in morning of afternoon. The park is clean and safe for kids. The river and pool are still excellent. Staff including the two “waitress” (and so much more) girls and “activity”-guy are succeeding in making visitors happy. Good jobs!

No improvements to the site come to mind. A practical, but maybe not for the camping, problem is the last few steps descending down the river.

There are new owners now and they do it very well. There is every day a kids club, with a very nice lady who love to play with the kids, the food is much better then before the only little negativity is there is almost no vegetarian option. The toilets are clean, the showers two.

Nothing

Just in general, great and well-managed caming, with plenty of fun stuff for kids, parents, and even regular people. Receptionist speaks nice english, and camping staff is in general very keen on working around the language barrier, which was refreshing and fun.

On the last evening we wanted to go to bed early, so we could get up early next day to drive for 12 hours. However, on the last night there was a huge party. Also, our pitch was next to the party location. In the end we moved our tent all the way to the other end of the camping, and even then could only sleep after an hour or so. Not the camping's fault, we should've inquired about this. Still, they could've warned us, or placed us further away, instead of _next to the party stage_. Not everyone likes music blasting next to their tent until 1 a.m.

Bonjour, Camping agréable et propre. Piscine chauffée, appréciable en cette saison. Sanitaires propre Gérants sympathique.

Trop d'arbres. Certainement bien en plein été, ais en cette saison nous manquions de soleil. Et manoeuvres compliquées pour la vidange du camping car.

Door de vele bomen in het najaar best fris overdag. Ik kan mij wel voorstellen dat de bomen fijne schaduw geven bij heet weer.

Camping très calme avec un paysage magnifique que nous donne la nature personnel au top et les patrons des personnes à l'écoute des campeurs

Sehr nette Besitzer, und trotz Nachsaison gab es im Restaurant noch alle Speisen.

Le côté insolite de dormir dans une cabane perchée à 10m de hauteur. Le calme et la gentillesse des propriétaires du camping. La rivière juste en dessous de la cabane. Le restaurant du camping très bon.

Rien. Tout était parfait

Camping au calme avec de grands espaces de jeux. La proximité de la rivière est un vrai plus.

Relents d’égouts autour des sanitaires.

Première fois en camping avec les enfants de 4 à 12 ans. Accueil tardif possible, jeux pour les enfants suffisants. Animations club enfants très bien. Camping familial à taille humaine, rivière à proximité. Très belle piscine, propre et sécurisée.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine au camping. Camping très propre, propriétaire au top. Tout le personnel est vraiment très souriant et professionnel.

La bonne situation du camping

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce camping,une très bonne équipe,et toujour à notre écoute.

4e keer dat we hier zijn. Heerlijk toeven langs de rivier. Uitvalsbasis voor steden bezoekjes, wandelen, kanoën. Afgewisseld met lekker niets doen op de camping.

Universal is een erg mooie camping aan de rivier, met een klein zwembad. De camping is ruim opgezet met voldoende schaduw. Een heerlijke plek om te vertoeven met of zonder kinderen. Bij het restaurant / de bar kan elke dag brood worden afgehaald na bestelling, en kan je wat eten of drinken. Prijzen zijn redelijk, het eten vonden wij niet fantastisch (de kinderen waren wel enthousiast over de pizza's). De camping heeft doordeweeks elke avond iets in de bar (denk aan karaoke, bingo, live muziek, pub quiz), dat moet je "ding" zijn. Sanitair is netjes, toiletpapier was wat wisselvallig aanwezig ;)

Er is doordeweeks elke avond iets te doen op de camping in de bar, wat toch wel wat herrie geeft. Als je al langer op deze camping komt, verwacht je dit wellicht niet. Zou handig zijn, dit op de site te vermelden bij het boeken. Na wat opmerkingen hierover, hield het geluid op rond 23u elke avond. Eigenaren hebben hier wel in meegedacht! Trampoline was kapot, maar niet weggehaald, wat er voor zorgde dat heel wat kinderen er toch op gingen. Mijn zoon gaat ook graag op de trampoline, maar mocht dit van mij niet, en baalde hier nogal van. Misschien dit soort dingen weghalen als het stuk is..

Camping calme, emplacements de tente spacieux et bien ombragés. Accueil sympathique. Piscine chauffée très appréciable. Proximité de la rivière. Programme d'activités en journée pour les enfants et en pour soirée pour tous variés. C'est notre 3eme séjour et nous apprécions toujours autant ce camping.
