Camping Onlycamp Tours Val De Loire

A lovely campsite .only issue we had was the one toilet got blocked and toilet waste faeces and paper flooded the toilet and showers block .when I reported it to one of the young man working there cleaning the chalets he didn't seem that bothered and blame people for tipping their caravan toilet waste down them causing it to block . The mess was there for around 5hrs and was still there when we left . We spent only 1 night there as we were making our way home from the tour de France.

Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful setting, will definitely return for longer next time. The pizza in the snack bar was delicious as was the local craft beer. Lovely Bistro just outside of campsite, with music and set on the bank of The Loire river, want to explore more next time.

The reception, the location, the plots and the cleanliness.

Last time I said I didn’t like the help yourself to plots policy. This time they allocated which i do prefer.

Helpful knowledgeable friendly receptionist- spacious level site easy access to clean showers and washing facilities with hot water - lovely communal area selling a selection of soft drinks beer and wine and hand made pizzas and food - quiet and peaceful site

Nothing fancy, very basic toilets, check in was easy enough.

Wonderful place to stay. Excellent staff. Perfect place. Will come again definitely.

Location and receptionist

Way more cleanness Staff before 14.30 and after 18.30 This could be a Camping car Aire, with toilets, no need to call it camping. Not clear where water filling or emptying tank. And no staff to ask

Lovely pitches. Showers spotlessly clean. Easy access to the city. Yours is brilliant for cyclists.

The site is in a nice location and well placed for access

The showers are not good. The one I used was like someone dribbling water on me. The block was cold and unwelcoming. The toilets are a row of doors in effect all outside. The majority have no loo roll and don’t seem to be cleaned with any degree of frequency. Our previous site the toilets were cleaned each day and all had toilet paper. I am only comparing to sores we stayed on this visit and by far this was the worst site. We were due to stay two days but left after the first and stayed on an aire, which had facilities, all of which were far better than this site.

A great location or completing parts of the Velo a Loire and visiting some lovely chateaux. The site is well appointed and offers good wi-fi to research travel/cycling plans. Staff speak English and are very helpful. Easy access to Tours from the site and well worth a visit.
