Camping de la Haute Sioule

I was camping here for 5 nights with 3 teenage kids and we absolutelly loved it! Freedom to camp on any spot you like, toilets & showers cleaned throughout the whole day = they were always clean, morning delivery of pastry, playgrounds & sport area to entertain even older kids. The place is a family-run business and 2 brothers are super attentive to any need you might have. I totally loved their evening cooking (always 1 meal, something local, very tasty) with a nice glass of wine. There are many hikes and bicycle routes around, also nice villages, parc naturel des volcanos is just beautiful!

I would put a small wall covering the pisoar area. It must be a bit discusting for people in nearby chalets, sitting on the terrace, watching men there...

Wonderful pitch overlooking Puy du Dome. Friendly welcome and breakfast baguette collection. Quiet. Good value. Lovely auberge for dinner a short walk away. Showers and toilets great

Water around toilet waste drain wasn’t working.

Great view of Puy de Dome, we chose a pitch in the shade as it was very hot. Helpful staff and friendly bar on site. We hope to return soon.

A friendly , family run campsite , perfectly located for exploring hikes and villages of the beautiful Auvergne. Walking distance to well stocked village shop - no need to go to a big supermarket.

The campsite was really green. The owners were very helpful and were always there for us if we needed something.

There were no check-in and check-out times.

The region is very beautiful and the welcome was very good. The people were very friendly! Also the duck/goose patrol coming by everyday is quite charming.

Schöne naturnahe Anlage mit viel Platz und wenig Schnickschnack. Sauber und sehr freundliche Betreiber, wenig Wohnmobile! Und wenn, dann Kleine, dafür viele Zelte und einfache Wohnwägen - so wie man sich Camping vorstellt! Der Platz liegt günstig zu Aktivitäten in alle Richtungen.

Petit camping familial avec un accueil sympathique, des emplacements spacieux, des sanitaires très propres. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la soirée concert, les propositions de snack le soir, le service croissants et pain le matin.

Seul bémol, l'emplacement des jeux pour enfants qui sont trop près des emplacements, beaucoup de bruit

Acabamos de volver de este camping y la experiencia ha sido muy positiva. Nuestra parcela estaba rodeada de árboles, algo que agradecimos muchísimo viajando con dos niños. Tenía buena luz y algo de sol, pero siempre se estaba a gusto gracias a la sombra natural. Los lavabos estaban muy cerca, lo que nos resultó muy cómodo. La ubicación es inmejorable: en pleno Parque Natural de los Volcanes, un entorno espectacular que por sí solo ya merece la visita. Durante nuestra estancia subimos al Puy de Dôme y visitamos Vulcania, actividades muy recomendables para toda la familia.

Le camping est en pleine nature, avec de beaux emplacements, les sanitaires sont récents et bien entretenu. C'est un camping familial avec un personnel très sympa. Nous y avons passé 3 nuits agréables.

Camping calme , familiale, emplacement spacieux . Les horraire d'arrivée sont tardive c'est agréable

Ce camping est parfaitement situé, à 20-30 min de toutes les activités souhaitées (Vulcania, Puy de Dôme, Murol..). Nous y avons été très bien accueillit, avec sourire et gentillesse. L'endroit est calme, frais, très arboré, un paradis pour les enfants avec une petite aire de jeux, des canards et des poules en liberté, un mini-golf... Un très bon séjour en famille, reposant et vivifiant. Une belle adresse que nous retenons pour notre prochain passage en Auvergne.
