We liked the fact this site was in a fairly quiet location. It’s a very relaxed, typically French site which is what we like. The owners were very helpful in sorting a problem for us.
Some more seating over looking the river would have been nice.

This is a truly lovely, very special campsite run by a family who are warm and care a great deal. It is very peaceful and quiet.. The location is amazing- near lots of pretty villages and right next to the river with access to swim. Stunning views. Delightful warm little swimming pool and absolutely immaculate sanitary facilities. Pretty flowers and fruit trees- the whole place just feels so loved and cared for. Ping pong tables and mini playground. Everything goes completely quiet as the night closes in- dark and peaceful.. bliss. Perfect for families or adults without kids. We will be back.
Brilliantly large sized pitches with good flat ground for tent camping and enough privacy. Shady and leafy. Good electricity available and the possibility to hire fridges.

We were welcomed warmly. The pitches are flat and shady and the pool, on this oh so hot weekend, was wonderful... One small complaint. The showers, push-button operated, gave precisely 3 seconds of water so it's impossible to have a decent shower without holding down the button constantly with one hand, v which is both awkward and counter-productive as you end up using more water. Also, the heat controls are counter-intuitive. You have to turn towards the blue/cold to get hot water... This needs to be clearer...
Readjust the shower regulators and put bigger arrows for the heat controls. Some of us have poor near sight and the current arrows are invisible to us.
Pitch was lovely. Flat and shady.

The campsite was lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. Super helpful ladies in reception who put up with my attempts to speak French. Large pitches with plenty of trees for shade. Plenty of facilities that were kept very clean. Lovely location at the side of the river with the town of St Cyprien nearby with shops and places to eat. We would recommend the short stroll over the metal bridge to a bar at the kayak hire place.
A couple more lights at night might be handy.

Beautiful site within walking distance of St Cyprien & 15 minute train into Sarlat. Well worth a visit.

Located next to the river and a short walk to st cyprien and a good supermarket. Great grass pitches, good showers and facilities, lovely swimming pool. Friendly people what camping is all about.

Séjour calme, hormis la musique de la guinguette le vendredi soir qui ne respecte pas le calme de l'environnement

Merci pour votre commentaire, désolée mais pas de place pour un snack et notre proximité de la rivière ne nous permet pas de construire de bâtiment. Le village est seulement à 15 minutes à pied et il s'y trouve plusieurs endroits pour se restaurer. A bientôt peut-être ! Régine

Duidelijk op de prullenbak zetten in alle talen wat er in moet. Vernieuwen van wasmachine oud en zeer prijzig. Ecologische camping erg oudbollig,klein zwembadje. Tussen de middag gesloten.saai niets te beleven. Onduidelijk aangegeven bij de weg. google maps geeft het anders aan.

Waterkraan niet aanwezig op de plek.
Bedankt voor je reactie. Je bent bij Le Garrit vast op de verkeerde plek beland. Wij bieden geen entertainment, eten of een bar aan, zoals u op de website had moeten zien. Als onze gasten arriveren, brengen we ze allemaal naar de toiletten en laten we ze zien wat ze in elke bak moeten doen. De bakken zijn niet in elke taal, maar ze zijn allemaal voorzien van afbeeldingen. Ik hoop dat u voor de rest van uw verblijf een camping heeft kunnen vinden die aan uw wensen voldoet. Regine

Ravie de mon séjour au camping Le Garrit. Bon accueil. Gérants sympathiques. Calme. Bien situé. Même si les mobil-homes sont proches l'un de l'autre il n'y a pas de vis à vis.

Le calme et le côté familial du camping, la piscine, l'emplacement par rapport aux sites touristiques, la vue sur la Dordogne et de pouvoir faire les courses à pieds. Le cadeau de bienvenue est une agréable surprise.
Éventuellement le fait d'avoir des moustiquaires au mobil home pour profiter de la fraîcheur de la nuit sans la nuisance des moustiques.
Très propre, j' ai même cru qu'il était neuf. Le tri du déchet, le liquide vaisselle/éponge et le tapis de douche.
