This is a truly lovely, very special campsite run by a family who are warm and care a great deal. It is very peaceful and quiet.. The location is amazing- near lots of pretty villages and right next to the river with access to swim. Stunning views. Delightful warm little swimming pool and absolutely immaculate sanitary facilities. Pretty flowers and fruit trees- the whole place just feels so loved and cared for. Ping pong tables and mini playground. Everything goes completely quiet as the night closes in- dark and peaceful.. bliss. Perfect for families or adults without kids. We will be back.
Brilliantly large sized pitches with good flat ground for tent camping and enough privacy. Shady and leafy. Good electricity available and the possibility to hire fridges.

We were welcomed warmly. The pitches are flat and shady and the pool, on this oh so hot weekend, was wonderful... One small complaint. The showers, push-button operated, gave precisely 3 seconds of water so it's impossible to have a decent shower without holding down the button constantly with one hand, v which is both awkward and counter-productive as you end up using more water. Also, the heat controls are counter-intuitive. You have to turn towards the blue/cold to get hot water... This needs to be clearer...
Readjust the shower regulators and put bigger arrows for the heat controls. Some of us have poor near sight and the current arrows are invisible to us.
Pitch was lovely. Flat and shady.
Possibly lacking in. Privacy when the site is full.

The campsite was lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. Super helpful ladies in reception who put up with my attempts to speak French. Large pitches with plenty of trees for shade. Plenty of facilities that were kept very clean. Lovely location at the side of the river with the town of St Cyprien nearby with shops and places to eat. We would recommend the short stroll over the metal bridge to a bar at the kayak hire place.
A couple more lights at night might be handy.

Beautiful site within walking distance of St Cyprien & 15 minute train into Sarlat. Well worth a visit.

Located next to the river and a short walk to st cyprien and a good supermarket. Great grass pitches, good showers and facilities, lovely swimming pool. Friendly people what camping is all about.

Das kleine Steinhäuschen ist besonders. Alles da für den täglichen Alltag plus den besonderen Flussblick, die Ruhe und Charme des Lebens mitten im Grünen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und unkompliziert, wir wurden mit einer Flasche Wein und selbst gezogenen Tomaten begrüßt. Sehr sehr schön - jederzeit wieder.
Die Stühle sind wunderschön und typisch - aber sehr hart 😊. Wir empfehlen, Kissen mitzunehmen.
Der Flussblick, das Leben mitten im Grünen, das unkomplizierte Miteinander.
Kissen für die Stühle. Und vielleicht ein zweiter Spiegel im Bad, in dem man sich sehen kann. Dieser hängt arg niedrig.

l'accueil au Camping du Garrit fut très agréable , le gite "Le Passeur" fort accueillant et très propre avec sa terrasse qui nous permettait de déjeuner a l'abri du soleil ou de la pluie..Le Perigord noir magnifique ma compagne ne connaissait pas cette région que j'ai pu lors de cette semaine de vacances lui faire découvrir. Pour la découverte du Perigord noir le Camping du Garrit est idéalement placé , les prix de location raisonnable ...Bref un beau séjour réussi..encore merçi à Régine et Elina pour leur accueil qui fut accompagné d'un cadeau de bienvenu belle attention il faut le souligner

Ce camping est l endroit idéal pour se reposer . On entend juste le flot de la dordogne et le chant des oiseaux .
Le gîte est bien aménagé à l'écart des autres campeurs.

Camping muy tranquilo y muy bonito. Junto al Dordoña y con una pequeña piscina muy bonita. El camping está muy cuidado y el personal es muy amable, todo muy familiar. El bungalow donde nos alojamos era de 10 , limpísimo y muy cuidado. Un camping en el que se cuidan todos los detalles y sus dueños trabajan por el bienestar del cliente.

El bungalow más limpio y cuidado en el que hemos estado. Es un placer estar aquí.
