Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoWe really enjoyed our stay here. Brilliant location, lovely lakeside walks and close to village centre. There are lake views from all the pitches which are all divided up by tall hedging so very private. Helpful and friendly owner and staff.
Privacy, views - everything great.

Lovely view of the lake. Short walk to the village. Good for a stopover.
No hot water in the showers but apparently in the process of being fixed. Hard standing for some of the pitches as our van got stuck on arrival & we had to move.
Great view of lake. Easy walk to town
No hard standing. No hot water.

The location and friendliness are excellent for the up and down journey from the UK to Spain.
That whoever stays at ANY campsite are responsible pet owners and clears up after their animals.
Great view to go to sleep with and wake up to
Of the site there is nothing not to like.

Small.quiet site. Friendly and helpful owners gave a warm welcome. Great restaurant Pleasant lake to swim in after long day on the road. Quick and easy to find off the main auto route.
Could update toilet/shower area but was still clean and tidy.
Lovely view of lake. Decent sized plot. Nice and quiet and relaxing. Name left on plot so if no one in reception then drive to find your plot. Great.

The site is in an excellent position, close to the A20 and we found it thoroughly deserved and extension to our two night stop over. The facilities are good and clean with an excellent lake side area providing good swimming and sports facilities with restaurant too. The village is interesting and there are good walks and cycle rides (with hills!) available from the site. We had a pitch on the hill at the back of the site which commanded a stunning view over the lake and surrounding area while also allowing easy access to the wash rooms. We will definitely return when in the area again.
None I can think of, keep up the good work Alison!
Standard grass pitch with electricity.

The owners adapted to the very wet weather, put us on a hardstand outside the toilet block as all pitches were flooded. Toilet block warm and clean.

Alison & John are most accommodating & freindly.Pitch was fabulous, secluded & overlooking the lake. Restaraunt & bar lovely, great food & ambience. Great walk for the dog. Village about 20min walk and pretty. Extended our stay by 4days, sad to leave.
It has the most relaxed feel with a lovely lake facing restaraunt/bar.

Easy booking with option to use ACSI card. Lovely being able to choose a pitch beside the lake and have it reserved before arrival. The pool is a welcome cooling area when the weather is warm. A very relaxing visit.
Unclear about refuse disposal.
Lovely pitch as expected next to the lake.

Wow what a find, this site was recommended to us whilst at a site in Barcelona by a couple from the Uk who used it often as the ideal place to stop on route back to Calais. I am so pleased we met them, this site was perfect. Stunning scenery, beautful village and lakeside pitches, a warm reception, all staff were first class and the owners couldn't do enough to help with any advice/ local knowledge queries. Immaculate facilities, delicious cooking in the restaurant and pizzas to takeaway were amazing as well as the morning bakery!! We stayed 3 nights and will 100% be back again. just ace!
Nothing really, WIFI a bit patchy but didn't affect us that much.
great sized pitches, beautifully maintained and stunning views over the lake and hillside. loved it.
nothing at all

This is one of the very best Campsites we have visited. Alison and John are welcoming and friendly, English speaking was very helpful as our French is terrible!
The wi-fi situation it's not very good. An email on the day of arrival with the WiFi codes we paid for would have been useful as we didn't use the WiFi we bought in the end. The paper code pass we were given didn't last 24hrs and having to chase up these things on a busy Campsite isn't ideal.
Perfect shade and size of pitch
Nothing!

Convenient location a short walk from village with superette and Boulanger, small tidy swimming pool and lake for swimming also and a good selection of foods in the restaurant!
Nothing to dislike!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the lake and the restaurant.
The pitch was large and private enough.

Access to A20 ideal, nice setting/location. Just what we were looking for.
Unisex toilets / showers take some getting used to, but I realise is common in France. Perhaps an information sheet on arrival to explain facilities, recycling etc would be useful.
Location & outlook
Nothing really, obviously work alresdy in progress to improve the site.
