Toilets and showers were always well presented. Water points close by with 10amp Electricity on the pitch. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Close enough to the beach and easy access to many nice cycle rides.
Cut the perimeter hedges back a bit more often.

The campsite was very well run. The accommodation was new and clean. Great location near to the town. Close to the beaches. Great amenities on site and a nice pool & bar area.
More hires bicycles. There was a shortage.
The mobile home was excellent. Very new and spotlessly clean. The best we’ve stayed in.

The mobile home we booked was lovely, very modern and new , immaculately clean and a great large decked terrace . It was calm and friendly and very quiet at night after the entertainment had finished. Staff were helpful and friendly especially with my limited French 😊 although we did always make the effort to try to ask for anything in French which is appropriate. We were a mature couple joined by my daughter and grandson for part of our stay .
Better playground for slightly older children, my grandson is an active 61/2 yrs and would have appreciated something more challenging such as they have on the other Chadotel Domaine de Beaulieu
Modern and clean
Some equipment for us but we take it from home as we have stayed in these cabins before . A kettle is probably the thing we couldn’t manage without and find it unusual that French accommodation does not have one ever .

Pitches were generous, showers and toilets immaculate. Pool, bar, shop all great. Easy walk to beach and St Giles which is a great place to visit.

The pool and the area around it were kept in perfect order and the temperature of the pool was exceptional. The staff and the animation team were very friendly.
Perhaps the availability of ordinary baguettes might be worth thinking about.

When talking to another couple, lady on the pitch behind, pitch 18b, very rudely told us to be quiet. As it was 4 people talking and 16.00 hrs I do find this unacceptable behaviour. Staff were apologetic but this did not excuse the behaviour of what I understand to be a seasonal pitch. Hopefully she was spoken to.

Before you book as all pitches are non refundable even though I checked out early. Apparently it's my loss because I checked out early. Reception take no responsibility for not informing guest that the bar and shop on site. Pizza bar also closed.
Mention to guest checking in that everything on site is closed. Apart from the pool.
Pitch was a good size for our 6 meter motorhome. Toilet and shower facilities clean.
Too far out from anywhere. It's around 4km to the town. No bus service near by. Quite pricey pitch price for what you get when bar and shop closed until next year.

Charming little site. No bells and whistles. Immaculately clean.10 minute walk to a pristine beach. Heated indoor / outdoor pool. Well stocked kitchen and accommodation.
Take mosquito repellent.
Lots of space for five. Good sized fridge freezer. Plenty of glassware and crockery. Lovely big decking area. Good quality shower.
The nylon pillow cases and sheets… deeply unpleasant.

We have enjoyed our stay : clean facilities and good entertainment but too loud until midnight.Difficulty to sleep. People shouting or arguing at 6 am..screaming at 2 am? Children still roaming in campsite after 11 am. It needs clear rules on behaviour for Respect of others

Some night time security would go amiss. There’s no curfew for noise and we are not quiet people but some sleep would be appreciated.

This is the 4th time we have stayed here. Worst pitch ever. Really noisy at night. No security and there were parties in the car park opposite all night long with non guests. One night it went on all night till 8am. Drunk staff after hours in the play park. Really really bad experience. Never again. Where was the security? Not quiet at night. It’s a family site and this was not family friendly.

Only there for 2 nights
Pitch was quite small, so we had to park our motorhome diagonally across the pitch. We were also opposite the building that held the maintenance items for the site, so there was a lot of traffic from the little buggies and personnel.

Our 5th time at this lovely site just outside Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and already planning next July, we love the closeness of the beach and a nice stroll to the town, always disappointed to leave this place at the end of our stay
A few things missing this time from.previous years, our welcome gift from chadotel no longer Also free WiFi last time we came, now we have to pay for this,
Pitch was lovely, away from the pool and entertainment, so on the days when you just want to unwind, it nice and peaceful

We loved this campsite. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great. There was enough for the children of ours ages 3 &6. Everything was clean and well maintained.
We will need to get a slightly bigger pitch for our tent next time but that's no fault of the campsite.
Lovely setting and freedom for the kids while feeling safe.

We visit every year meeting up with friends old and new
Gate to the lane closing mechanism, the gate is very noisy and continuous banging becomes very annoying. The Bar should be open at regular times and staffed. The bar was closed for one of Englands' Euro matches reason given "no staff".
Our pitch P24 is the one we always go on, our motorhome is big and this pitch is perfect for us. We have already booked with site for 2025!

Was clean and tidy
Pitch was ok, not very flat ground but uneven
Had to leave the next day due to family emergency, they said they would consider a refund if I could provide proof, I don’t see that I should have to provide proof that my parents had a crisis enough that I had to leave! Just to recieve any monies due back, so I just left to be back with my parents and not pursued the refund
